I did not use sponsors image

 I got a few months back in my monthly kit from Simon Says an awesome flower set and I love painting flowers even though I am still trying to figure how to do them.. I gave it a try and using water color paper and Altenew paints I gave this flower a try.. I went over the flower with Nuvo glitter brush. I used Stampin up stitch square die and distressed the edges with Ranger ink. I then dug through my designer papers and found this Moda scraps paper. The vertical green is not from that set but scraps from my box of scraps (that keeps growing). I distressed the edges of them with Ranger ink. I added the sentiment also from the SS set and stamped with SU ink. I added to the sentiment a gold heart and the acrylic dots to the side and bottom.. following the sketch.

This is my fun card.. I used Fabrika Fantasy image Forest mouse.. Isn't he cute?? I thought he was darling. For my card I colored him with copics and went over the coffee with Nuvo glitter pen. I used My favorite things stitch die. and digging through my scrap box found some Quick quote scraps and added the layers. I used Simon Says stitch die, spellbinder leaves and banners. I added the Sugar pea sentiment stamped with Stampin up ink and some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh and twine.

Hello.. It's Tuesday so it's

New Release over at Bugaboo..

This is Butterfly bear ice cream.. Cute huh?? I thought perfect for that little girl so I went with the softer feminine look. I chose some designer papers and created the background then I colored the image with copics picking some of the colors from the papers. I used Simon Says wonky die.. I heat embossed the Simon says sentiment on the blue and then stamped the happy birthday and used Stampin up tag die. I went around the edges with Ranger ink and added a twine bow. I went over the bear wings with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Our theme this week is

 ANYTHING BUT A CARD..

 

I took a manila tag from Tim Holtz and using Oxide inks smooshed the ink down on my craft sheet and spritzed with water. I added the tag and smooshed it around and dried and kept adding here and there till I got what I liked. I then took La La Land image and sentiment and stamped this down. I knew I wouldn't color the image because I like the colors of the tag. I did take a colored pencil and colored her flesh but left everything else. I found this tape fabric by Tim Holtz and added it along the bottom. It went with the sentiment. I had a scrap of ribbon so added this to the tag top.

It's day 6 of Christmas in July over at Catch the bug 

It's our last day of Christmas in July and I hope you have a great start on your Christmas cards for this year and you had fun playing along.

 

Color Challenge

Day 7 and final Christmas card … well for now.. It's Free Friday and this is the Reindeer trio image. I used the colors in the challenge in the dp and image as I colored them. The dark purple looks black on their noses.. Funny how colors don't always read right on the computer. I colored the image with copics. I went over Rudolph's nose and stars with Nuvo glitter brush.. I found this fun designer paper so cut it down and cut a strip of red/white stripe and added it to the left side. I foam mounted the image and using some watered down paste to stiffened the twine bow..

I chose to use two images for this card.

 The Kidz beach and Pup summer.

I started by using copics and creating the background. I had this fun foilage stamp from Simon Says and did the beach grass in Stampin up brown ink and the background greenery trees also in Stampin Up ink. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I then colored the image with copics. I added Nuvo glitter brush to the water and sunglasses. I added the Lawn Fawn sentiment also stamped in SU ink.

I am using the image Lilly cat fairy.. I am allergic to kittens.. well anything fur.. I have three hair dogs.. It was fun creating this card and coloring the image. I used copics. I went over the wings, flowers, hearts with Nuvo glitter brush. I used a scrap of Quick Quote dp and using Simon Says dies created a frame. I stamped The cottage stamper sentiment and used Stampin up ink and dies. The hearts were colored with SU ink.

Oldie But Goodie - OBG/ PHOTO CHALLENGE

Movie Theme WHITE CHRISTMAS

 

 With the theme being white Christmas I found this awesome designer paper that has the trees, deer and bird.. So I found a snowman that is from the Scene it snowmen fun and just cut the image out from the group of four. I colored him with copics. I took a piece of white paper and cut a slope to it and added some glitter and added this to the bottom and foam dotted the snowman. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and snowflakes and heat embossed in silver..

 I have a card to share for the challenge going on over at

Our theme is FOR A CHILD + SENTIMENT

This is my card using the image called "love you to the moon and back" and I just so happened to have a My favorite things sentiment that says that. I stamped it in Stampin up ink and used a yellow color pencil to fill the letters in. I then cut the sentiment apart. For the image I used copics and colored her in and then used Ranger Oxide inks for the background. I went over the stars/moon/unicorn horns and bow with Spectrum Noir glitter brush. I used Lil inker stitch die and mounted this onto a scrap of  Quick quote dark brown card stock and mounted this to a white card base. I like the little bit of white showing. I then added the sentiment.

As you like it - fav. bird or beast -why (rhino.. look at this darling image and what not to love. She's so cute and will bring a smile to that special person because she's so darling)

Movie Theme  : Elf

 

Today I am using the New Release image called Elf brat Rudolph.. I colored the image with copics and using the bottom row I used My favorite things die cut.. I added this to a piece of scrap pattern paper and heat embossed the Paper Pretties sentiment and added twine to the end. I went over the know and the flakes in the background with glitter. I used Wink of Stella on the reindeers shirt, elf bells and ornaments.

ABC - Anything But A Card

Movie Theme : Santa Claus is coming to Town 

 

 

I made a tag using the image stocking were hung image.. I found this great designer paper which made me think of the movie.. Santa Claus is coming to town.. I used Marianne tag die. I used a circle die to cut the image out and colored with copics and added this to the bottom corner. I went around the edge of the tag with Ranger ink and used ribbon and twine to finish off the card. Oh I added Wink of Stella to the stocking.

Hello and welcome back. I have a card to share from the challenge going on over at Always Fun Challenge #120

 

Our theme this week is MOOD BOARD

 

I decided to make a tag .. I wish the colors showed up better on the computer.. I do have a lot of these fun colors and I also did the seashells / ocean.  I started with a white card stock and cut the shape of a tag. I then used Ranger ink and my wave and ground template to create the background. I stamped the My favorite things images and used Zig markers to color them. I then used the dies and added the pieces to the tag. I added a few Nuvo drops for bubbles. I added a bling to her bellybutton and acrylic dot for the top hole area.  The sentiment is from Simon Says.

This is SB with tree.. I colored the image with copics and using My favorite things stitch die cut her out. I added her to a piece of scrap Quick quote dp. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment onto another piece of QQ scraps. I added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels and went over the ornaments, holly berries and her shoes with Nuvo glitter pen.
