Theme: Sparkle and bling

I made this quite awhile ago but didn't post it as I got the theme wrong when I thought it was getting posted. Glad I caught it before I posted it..  I did heat embossed the Comotion stamp and then using water colors from Mission gold created the colors then went with the Paul Reuban metallic paints to add shimmer, I wish you could see it in person. I added some diamond drills left over from my diamond paintings.. I added the sentiment.

Theme: Retiform technique

I haven't done this technique in years.. I used masking tape and blocked off a section and added the Ranger ink and Hero arts image then moved the tape and blocked off another section and repeated till the card front was covered. I took Gold Liquitex paint and painted on the edges of the sections.  I see things I could of done different but I think it turned out nice.

Hello 

We have a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #166

Theme: Snowflakes

I used different Simon Says snowflakes and stamped them all over the front. I used embossing powder and heat set. I then took Ranger ink and using 4 different colors blended them over the snowflakes. I stamped the Hero arts sentiment that I colored with Ranger and cut it down and added to the card front. I finished with some round diamonds from left over diamond painting projects.

Fred, She Said Digital Designs

I am using the Pine cone spray from Fred she said.. I colored with copics. and added the Hero Arts sentiment. I love the way this came out.. I wanted a little interest to the top and bottom so used Spellbinder die and cut two strips and used gold embossing ink to give it color I didn't emboss it. I added to a Quick quote scrap.. I added a few diamond painting drills that look like half pearls..

Theme: Plaid / tartan

I chose the cool greenish plaid. I stamped the Hero Arts Merry Christmas and trees. I used brown plaid for the trunks of the trees but it's so small you can't tell. I took a scrap of Quick Quote paper and tore and added it for the ground.

I have always love this cute Reindeer from Holly Berry House.. That's an old company. I found this designer paper from Fresh Pink and so Stamped the deer and the Hero Arts branch with ornaments and colored all with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the ornaments.

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme this challenge is

AUTUMN FLORA/FAUNA

For my card I took down my Hero Arts fall looking red rubber stamps and using Ranger ink I stamped the card base all over. I then took the Tech. Tues. sentiment and using Paper Trey Ink die cut it out. I took Stampin up heavy vellum and Simon Says embossing power and smushed the edges and embossed then added the sentiment piece and added to the card. I used some left over diamond painting drills to add bling to the card. I used the Taylored Expressions squirrel die and a scrap of Quick Quote dp added this to the card and a diamond painting drill for the eye.

It's time for a new challenge over at

the theme for this challenge is

SPORT OR HOBBY

I don't do sports and my hobby is making cards, diamond painting and flowers.. so I chose flowers. I used a Hero arts stamp and using my Marvy markers inked up the stamp and then using My favorite things stitch die cut it out and the DCWV scrap. For the orange Stamping up card stock I used MFT brick stencil and Ranger ink and added a little color to give some interest. It's very light on the computer but in real it's a little darker. no much.. I stamped the sentiment . I am not sure who it's by. I used Ranger inks to give some colors.

This is my card. I used Ranger ink and Hero Arts images. I stamped and created the scene. I colored with some Color It color pencils. I die cut the Taylored Expressions clouds out of some scraps and used Quick Quote chalk ink to distress the edges. The sentiment is also from the Hero arts set.

I used a card base that has my a nice pattern on it (store bought) and I added the card stock that went with the color on the other side and front. Then using a Hero Arts stamp and Marvy Markers I stamped the image. The sentiment is from Simon Says. I went around the edge with Ranger ink. I finished with some left over Diamond Drills.

I kept this card quite CAS. I used some Range ink and created the background. I used a Hero arts stamp and added Marvy Markers to give it color and stamped then did a quick restamp.  I added the thank you sentiment and backed onto a teal card stock base.

Our theme for this challenge is

KISSING TECHNIQUE

The kissing technique is where you take a solid stamp of your choice and a detailed stamp.. Ink up the solid one and then using a different ink, ink up your other detailed stamp and stamp it on the solid one, then stamp on your paper. I used a solid Great Impressions rectangle and the leaves are Hero arts. I used Simon says inks. (you can use U-tube to find out more on the technique) I then used My favorite things die to cut out and add to the Quick Quote scrap. The sentiment is from Stampendous and I just tucked it under the image. I added a few metal blings.

I wanted a background so using a stamping block I smooshed some Ranger inks on it and spritzed with water and stamped it onto the card stock. Once dry I used 3 Hero art images and colored with Tombow markers and stamped.. I then used the Tech. Tues. sentiment and stamped sideways just to give interest..

This is the free image called Deacon cake. I created a mini slimline card.  I colored him with copics. I used the Kat Scrappiness distress die and cut out the image and the check background. I used Washi tape along the folded end and added the Hero art sentiment and distressed the edges with Ranger ink.

Hello

I have a card that a friend requested me to make that was music notes and birthday.. That's all. 

So this is what I came up with.. I stamped the Paper Trey Ink.. with Stampin up ink. I then stamped the Hero Arts sentiment with another Stampin up ink. I added them to a card base. I added a scrap of blue down the center. I stamped the Judi Kins image with SU ink and added to a scrap. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.. I hope she likes it.

We have a new challenge over at

This challenge is letter X

X EXTRA FOLDS

I stamped the Power Poppy cake on Kraft card stock. I colored with Copics. I stamped the Happy Day on the banner. I went over the dots on the cake with Nuvo drops. I used My favorite things oval stitch die. I used some Ranger ink to give color to the background. I added the image to the front. 

Now for the extra fold.. I took a slightly smaller A2 and added to the inside of the card. See below photo

the inside fold is on the right side. You can still open this flap to get to the inside of the card. I used Judi Kins balloon stamp and Quick Quote chalk inks and stamp quite a few balloons. I added some bows/strings to the balloons. I used Hero Arts sentiment to this page. I kinda did the dots on the cake with similar colors to the balloons just to tie it together.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Always Fun Challenge #201

Our theme this week is

ANYTHING GOES

This is my card. I started with the card base and cut about 1-1/4 inch off the top right side. I then added the green designer paper to the inside exposed area.. I added the goldish paper to the top part. I stamped the Hero Arts image and colored with copics. I fussy cut it out and added to the brown dot paper. All designer papers are from Authentique.  I adhered just half of the brown paper to the goldish paper so you can open the card. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment and heat embossed. I used Stanpin up punched and scraps for the two hearts.  I went over the hearts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.
