Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #274

Our theme is

 TRAVEL

So some time back I created a bunch of backgrounds.. smooshing ink on the watercolor paper then taking cellophane and scrunching it on the wet inks. Once it's dry I remove the cellophane and this is the awesome design you get.. So I thought it looked like a sunset and stamped the Reverse Confetti city scape. On another piece of paper I stamped the Pretty Pink Posh hot air balloons  (this is my form of travel for the theme.. I'd never real life go up in a hot air balloon.. my brother got married in a hot air balloon) I colored with copics and used the dies then added them to the card and stamped the sentiment.

I am using the image called Twinkle Fairy  I colored her with copics and added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to her wings, fluffy tu-tu and stars.. I used Simon Says die to cut her out. I added her to a scarp of Quick Quote dp. I added the Reverse confetti and Paper Trey Ink sentiment and distressed the edges with Ranger ink.

I seldom make patriotic cards so I thought I would keep it simple. I took some red/white/blue designer paper scraps and cut different widths. I adhered them to an A2 size scrap. I stamped the Verve sentiment and heat embossed then added to a red square.. The dies are Spellbinders. I added some Nuvo drops.

So I decided to use the image Girlz Flowers  after I started it I thought I probably should of made her shorter or used a different image.. But I stuck with it and I do like it.  I colored her with copics and added my cloud template and Ranger ink. the papers are from DCWV and die /sentiment is from My favorite things. I added some Nuvo drops to the flower centers.

Get well soon - Louie

Hello

I made this card for my son's dog Louie who is a Yorkie and got bit playing with my grandsons dog which is a Golden retriever.. He got bit in the eye on Fathers day so they ran Louie to the emergency vet. They gave him a pain shot and said no dr. was there to say if he was ok. So my son and DIL decided to take him home (it was already 11pm.) and monitor him all night. My DIL took him to the vet Monday morning and the Dr. there said he needs to see a specialist as there is a lot of swelling. So she ran him over there and they put him on a bunch of meds and he needs to come back when the swelling is down and get an ultrasound. So it's a wait.  He could lose his eye sight in the one eye as there is a lot of bleeding behind the eye. Anyhow I made this card for Louie from our three dogs. Of course my dogs are a Shih Tzu/Llasa,  a Maltese, a Shih Tzu/Maltese  and I just tried to find small dogs that would kinda work and paint sorta the colors they are. I used Shin Han water colors. I used a Sugar Pea, Newton's nook, Simon Says, Paper Pretties, Lawn Fawn stamps.

This image is Sun bonnet beach from Bugaboo store

This is the fun image. I colored her with copics and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I cut her down and then added her to a piece of designer paper which gave me a sunny feel. I stamped the Simon Says BEACH please with Altenew ink.. I thought she needed some company so stamped the My favorite things crab and seagull and painted with Mission gold water colors. Cute beach scene. I hope to make it out to the beach this summer. Get my feet wet and just enjoy the sound of the waves and breath in the fresh air.. it's my happy place.

I am using the image Beach Duck

I colored the image with copics. I know the image is beach duck but I think it can also be water.. So that is what she is on. Floating on the water having a wonderful time getting sun tanned and sipping lemon aid.. at least that is what she said.. lol. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink for the sky and Ranger ink for the water. I used a strip of Quick Quote scrap and heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment. I added the My favorite things scallop die and the Ek punch flip flops.  Over the water I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I used my cloud template and Ranger ink for the clouds then I used My favorite things stencil and Ranger / Quick quote chalk ink for the sun rays.. I used an old red rubber no name on the wood stamp for the heat embossed sentiment and cut it out. I went over the seeds with Nuvo drops.

Our theme for this challenge is

CAT OR DOG

Since I haven't used this stamp in like forever... I chose cat's for my theme choice.. This stamp set is an old Magenta stamp. I stamped on water color paper and using Prima wc painted the images. I added to a slimline base and added the Tim Holtz snarky sentiment..  I thought this sentiment went well with the crazy out of control cats. (I am a dog person, we have 3 small rescue dogs.. but I am sure when we are away they are having a great fun time.. kinda like this I am sure)

Our theme this week is

ADD A WINDOW

This is my card using Quick quotes scraps wood siding for the background. I found a scrap big enough in the dark blue for the Taylored Expressions window so die cut that out.. I stamped the TE image and using copics colored the image. I added to the window using foam so it gave some depth. I added some Stampin up foliage and then the TE sentiment.  After it's made I probably should of moved the sentiment over more to the right as it makes the left side heavy.. but it's done and I didn't want to redo..

this is MK pirate.. I colored the image with copics. I used Artistro gold pen on his earing. it's doesn't look gold till you turn the image.. weird..   I used Spellbinder oval die. I added the image to the DCWV designer paper and added the Paper Trey Ink happy birthday and Rubber baby buggy bumper sentiment. I went around the edges with Ranger ink

F - FURRY FRIENDS

So my furry friends are dogs.. We have three... so they are dear to my heart when it comes to furry friends.. These cuties are from Sugar Pea designs.. I colored them with copics and the hearts are with Ranger ink. I went over the hearts and dog charm with clear Nuvo drops. I used Stampin up heart die and used Ranger ink to distress the edge. I found a stencil and used Ranger ink to give some design to the background then added the heart and finished with the sentient that was stamped with Altenew ink.

I am using the image called Spring Cleaning

This is the cute image. I didn't move things around .. personally I don't know how to make the sentiment any bigger and I didn't want a large image so I hope your have a magnifying glass to read it.. It actually says The dust bunnies killed my cleaning fairy!  I colored the image with copics. I was digging through my box of papers and found this awesome striped piece so I cut the image down and added it then added this blue ric rac tiny strip and tied a bow. It worked out perfect.

Our theme this challenge is

CIRCLES AND PURPLES

This is my card. I started by using the Simon says circle die and I die cut different scraps of paper that had purplish colors. I used quite a few scraps just to get colors I thought worked. I took my Dry wall mesh and used as a stencil and Ranger ink to create the background then I adhered the white die cut circle and then filled in with the die cut pieces. I took one of the white dies from the frame part and stamped with Stampin up ink the Dot's sentiment.
