Theme: Sparkle and bling

I made this quite awhile ago but didn't post it as I got the theme wrong when I thought it was getting posted. Glad I caught it before I posted it..  I did heat embossed the Comotion stamp and then using water colors from Mission gold created the colors then went with the Paul Reuban metallic paints to add shimmer, I wish you could see it in person. I added some diamond drills left over from my diamond paintings.. I added the sentiment.

Hello again

Time for a new challenge over at

Crafty Gals Corner #265

Colour of Love

SheepSki designs

I am using the image from SheepSki.. I colored the image with copics and added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the moon and wings. I used Ranger ink to give background color and then used My favorite things circle die to cut out.. I added to a scrap of Quick quote paper and added some Ranger in to done down the brightness of it. I added the Comotion sentiment using Stampin up ink. I added foam tape under the circle and finished with some blue and white sparkle diamond drills for stars.

Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at
Cardz 4 Galz #215 

Our theme is 

DL card (slim line for us US crafters)

I have a friend who make a card using these darling birds so I thought I would give it a try. I started by cutting a card base for a short slim line card. I used Kat Scrappiness die for the background and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used various greenery stamp for the ground. I used My favorite things circle die and heart punches to create the birds. I used Doodlebug eye. I love the way they came out. I didn't add a sentiment as I wanted it for anything.

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme is

ANYTHING GOES

This is my card. I started by using Mission gold watercolors and creating the background. I used some gold Paul Reuban metallic for the gold and silver splatters. I let it dry for a couple days. I then stamped and heat embossed in white the Co-Motion large snowflake.  I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and heat embossed in gold. I went around the edges with Ranger ink.. I tried doing it on vellum but it just chipped off.. I always have such issues with vellum.. esp. glitter emb. powders.

Sending sunshine - Cardz 4 Galz #139

 We have a new challenge going on over at Cardz 4 Galz #139

Our theme is INSPIRED BY A BEATLES SONG

So can you guess what Beatles song this is????  "Here comes the sun"

I grew up listening to the Beatles. I remember seeing them on Ed Sullivan show and it was so exciting.

Well on to my card. I already had this Alcohol inked background done.. I made a bunch of them quite some time ago. It's such a mess to create that I figure lets make as many as you can and hope you can use them on something in the future.. Well the future his here and it's perfect for this Co-motion large stamp. I used Stazon ink.  I then stamped the Simon Says sentiment and heat embossed in a bright yellow and fussy cut it out. I was going to add some sequins but thought this was enough.

Our the next two weeks is

SUMMER + SENTIMENT

oops.. posted 12 hours earlier than should of.. did am. vs. pm. 

 I dug out an OLD wooden stamp by Comotion.. Who else has a bunch of their stamps??

I stamped the sun on watercolor paper and using ShinHan watercolors  to paint the image and background. I used Simon Says sentiments and Stampin up ink. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops center.

this is Day 4

 so below is my card

I laughed when I created this fun card. I first used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues. squirrel and painted with Prima watercolors. I stamped the Pretty pink posh coffee cup and painted and cut out. I stamped the Dylusions sentiment and Sugar pea "coffee" word. I used Comotions letters and created the "helps". I used corner chomper.
