My card I used the Stamp Rosa house mouse image. I colored the image with copics and added some stickles to the flame. I used Lil Inker stitched die and the sentiment is from Simon Says. I add some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the candle and marshmallow.

It's time for another challenge at Craftaholics R Us #12... and the Green team has a great challenge for you.. ANYTHING GOES

 

 

 I was lucky enough to get this awesome rubber stamp image from a fellow blogger.. in fact she sent me two House mouse stamps.. THANK YOU!!! I am finally putting one of them to paper.. I stamped and water colored the image with Mission water color paints. I wanted to paint the background so started light.. with yellow but didn't like it so then went with green and it wasn't quite right then went more with a blue/green and liked it. I used My Favorite Things stitch die and then mounted it to a dark green. I used a pretty designer paper for the background. I heat embossed the sentiment also from MFT. I used a few drops of Nuvo drops to complete the card.

April is almost over and days are longer

(I hope they get rid of day-light savings time)

I have my usual three day Ladies Retreat to Cannon Beach (which is in Oregon) I live a couple hours away. It's next week.. It's a beautiful time. It's through my church and I always go with my best friend Karen.. It's a spiritual, crying, snacking, singing, hugging, snacking, learning, eating, lessons, walks on the beach, shopping, praying, snacking ladies fun time. I always come back refreshed.

Very blessed time.

 

Well on to the new challenge at Aud Sentiments #178

I am using Stamp Rosa House Mouse.. I love this mouse.  I can identify with eating strawberries and feeling so full.  Hay - how do you eat your strawberries?  If they are fresh and just eating I make up some sour cream and add brown sugar and stir it together and then swipe my strawberry through it and eat.. YUMMM. so good.  I love strawberries on waffles.. In smoothies (I usually use frozen ones for smoothies)..   Ok back to my card. I colored my card with copics. I then took My Favorite Things embossing edges and embossed the white, red and kraft edges. I love the look it gives. I then added some twine to the left side and an old button I had.  I left it off for a while and kept looking at the card and it just needed something. I tried different buttons and my hubby and I settled on this one. Oh and the rubber/clear stamp is Paper Trey Ink "green thumb" stamp. It's perfect for the image. Its a hand deliver card.. button is thick.

Valentines day is my hubby's and my anniversary. We've known each other for 52 years and been married this year for 35 years. It sure doesn't seem like it.. I guess that is good.

This is my fun card for the Valentines challenge. I used the house mouse image and colored it with copics. (I used another House Mouse stamp for last challenge.. this is the second one I have.. love them) Pretty simple card. I used a few card stock papers to layer it. The sentiment is from

Creative with Stamps #10 challenge

 

It's mid month and you still have time to enter your card if you haven't done 3 already..

The theme is Winter Wonderland and Color challenge..

OH MY I LOVE the house mouse images and I only have two.. darn I need more. I have this one and then one with the mouse and hearts..  I tried to stay with the color theme.. I mentioned on January 1st the colors looked more gray and the last color was a tanish color.. The printer or computer did not  not talk to each other re the colors.. LOL.. anyhow I colored the image in copics and used some stickles on the flame. The sentiment is from Papertrey ink.. Kept the card pretty simple.. OH I got to use a larger piece of my 100 sheet by mistake purchase behind the image. LOL.

I hope you get time to play along. Just make sure you follow the rules.. no more than 3 cards, use stamps or digi's and add the challenge graphic.  Have fun..
