Our theme is

Lace and Pearls

For my card I used The Rubber Cafe image and stamped. I then took a 3 dot Simon Says stamp and Quick Quote pink chalk ink and added the dots to the background. They are very faint. I added the lace with a knot and the sentiment is cut with a Tech. Tues. banner die. I added tiny pearls down the front of the image.

Hello.. It's time for a new challenge over at

  Alphabet Challenge.

The letter is "V" - for VELLUM

I used black card stock and Simon Says background stamp and heat embossed the words. I then used Paper Trey Ink stamp and Stampin up vellum and stamped, heat embossed, die cut the flowers. I used Taylored Expressions and die cut the leaves. I added some half pearls.

I am using the image called Aromatic summer.. I thought she had a soft look on her face so made it into a sympathy / thinking of you card.  I colored with copics. I used My favorite things stitch die. I layered it on a piece of gray card stock then My minds eye designer paper. The sentiment is from Simon says. I finished with some half pearls and Wink of Stella.

Hello.. I have a card that I made for the challenge going on over at Do-Al (l) Creative #42

Our theme this month is 

BLACK / WHITE / and ONE OTHER COLOR

This is my Black / White and one other color.. It's green.. one of my favorite colors. I used Ranger ink and sponged on a little green. I used Simon says die and Quick Quote scrap for the center piece. I used Taylored Expressions and another die and black card stock to cut the black part. I layered them three times. I used Simon Says bird and bow die to finished the layout. I added some green half pearls. The sentiment is from SS.

Hello.. So hope your February is off to a good start.. Our weather in Washington state has been quite wet and warm. The daffodils are already about 6 inches up and ready to bloom at anytime.. I just hope we don't get a frost and they get killed off.  

So today is Tuesday so over at Bugaboo Stamps it's New Release.

Check out the design teams creations over at Catch the bug.

So this is Live Laugh Love.. I did a really light yellow for the background. It's hard to see. I also did light color in the butterflies and then added half pearls to the flower centers. I added this to a piece black card stock then to this pretty soft designer paper. I finished with a twine bow.

This is my card using the image called Beautiful Rose..  I colored the image with copics. I used Lil inker stitch die. I found this designer paper which I thought went well with the image. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment and used SS Thanks die and Quick quote scraps. I cut it out three times and layered. I went over the Thanks and flowers in her hair and the rose with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added half pearls to the hair flower centers.

Trick or Treat

 I love these My Favorite Things images.. I chose this fun one that looks like a little bee. I thought it was a great Halloween costume. I created the background using my stencils and Ranger inks. I then used the Lawn Fawn house dies and colored them with copics and added them to the background for the neighborhood she would trick or treat in. I colored the image with Copics and added some half pearls to her antenna.. I used a Heidi Grace pumpkin and cut this out and added to the sentiment also from Heidi Grace. I used a My favorite Things banner die.  I finished the image with Spectrum Noir glitter pen to her wings, hat, legs and arms.

Hello.. It's Stella Says Sketch #712 over at Catch the bug

 

 

The graphic below is the sketch

I am using the image called MIS Friends.. I colored the image with copics and stamped in the bottom area a Reverse Confetti sentiment. I added some bling. I dug through my scraps and found the purple piece from Club scrap and the awesome designer paper from Quick Quotes.. the banners are also QQ and used My favorite things banner dies. I finished with some half pearls below where the sentiment should be.. but since I added the sentiment to the image, this worked better.

Hello.. I hope everyone in the USA had a great 4th of July and safe celebrations and good bbq food.. We always stay close to the house and be careful because our three 4 legged babies and the fireworks they get scared.. Plus living out in the country I always have concerns with fireworks and fire..

This is my card using the image called Pretty lashes.. I found this awesome colorful designer paper and so went off that for the colors for the flowers. I found some scraps and used Stampin up flowers punch. I used Spellbinder leaf die and Quick quote scraps. I then colored the image with copics and went over the flowers in her hair with Nuvo glitter brush. I used My favorite things circle die to cut the image out then added everything to the dp. I added some ribbon. The sentiment is from Reverse confetti. I added want to scrap half pearls.

Welcome back to mid - month reminder..

Do - Al (l) creative challenge #30

 

Our theme is Lift card..

See my card below for the details on what a Lift card is..

 

This is the front of my card.. I chose some My minds eye dot paper. Then I used Marianne tag die and cut three tags out of black card stock. I went over the tags with Oxide ink. For the front tag I used silver glitter washi tape for the sides. I then used Taylored Expressions butterfly dies and scraps and cut out two. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment and added half pearls.

for the lift part of the card on the inside I heat embossed the leaves and butterflies from Simon Says. I then used a white gel pen and added dots. I used Stampin up silver cording and tied a bow.

For the reveal part of the tag I heat embossed the SS sentiment and two set's leaves. You can't see the one on the upper right. Before I adhered the tag down I added some scraps then added the tags.

I am using the image called Flower Tea Pot from Bugaboo.. This is the perfect image as there are two ladybugs, two flowers and I added two butterflies from Stampin up die and two half pearls.. So I used the think twice theme quite a few times.. I colored the image with copics. I went over the flower with Wink of Stella. I used My favorite things circle die. The background was created using dry wall mesh as a stencil and Ranger ink. I added the Simon Says sentiment.

Happy Happy Birthday

A little down time so thought I would create a birthday card since they are so needed in life. I need to get a head start..

I saw this awesome paper from Prima and I love it so I took my Reverse Confetti die and cut the V... I then thought what now. So took my Happy and stamped it twice then the Birthday stamped this and added some pearls. I didn't like the bottom being plain so I took the left over piece and added it to the bottom and trimmed it down. The papers are raised on fun foam.. I like the look and pretty much used the whole piece of paper. Isn't this paper gorgeous??

Welcome back to another challenge at Creations in Pink

I hope you are playing along and enjoying creating cards with lots of pink.. 

 

 

 

 For my card I found this old paper pad. I have no idea who it's by but it sure is pretty. I think it came in a SS monthly kit and they don't have cover pages. I chose the marble background and then chose two other papers and stamped the wood block red rubber Magenta stamp and fussy cut them out and layered. I have a box full of leaves so chose some and added them to the card. The dies are Stampin Up. I had a scrap of paper from the same pad and cut out the My favorite things Thanks and cut couple more times from black and layered them. I added everything to the base and then added some pearls and glossy accents to the dots on the petals.

Our theme for these two weeks is

ANYTHING GOES + SENTIMENT

 

Since we don't have a sponsor this challenge.. I got to use my Simon Says monthly card kit. It's always fun receiving the kit and playing with the goodies. This card I just used one of the flower stamps (there were quite a few) and one of the sentiments.. again quite a few.
I started first by using the Stampin up cross hatch and Ranger ink. Stamped a small white panel. I then stamped the image and sentiment an colored the image with copics. I finished the card by adding it to a piece of Club scrap designer paper. I added a few half pearls and went over the jar with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.

I was looking through my animal stamps and thought I had to use this fun old stamp.. I love this My favorite things mouse. I stamped the image then using MFT circle die cut it out. I colored the image with copics. I found a scrap of some designer paper I liked and added to the bottom area. I then used a Paper pretties sentiment I stamped it and cut the banner on one end. I finished with some half pearls and Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the bow and tu-tu..

I am now full time on the design team at Colour crazy.. I was so happy when I got the chance to join and not just be a guest designer.

 

Welcome to another fun challenge at

 Colour Crazy Challenge..

 Our theme is always ANYTHING GOES..

 

it's a colour challenge.. no pre colored images can be used. 

We don't have a sponsor but there is blog candy. Now who doesn't love blog candy.. or any kind of candy??..

 

Since we don't have a sponsor we are able to use any stamp so this is what I created.

 I was digging through a container I keep on my table and found this piece of background I created months ago. It is where you take the Kuretake paint (can use any paint) and added it to water color paper you put the paint on pretty thick then you take a piece of plastic wrap and scrunch if over the piece and set it aside to dry. Once dry you remove the plastic wrap and you end up with something like this. Well it reminded me of an underwater scene. So I took out My favorite things stamps and dies an painted the images with Mission paints and Ranger ink. I laid out the scene and then added the sentiment. I used some half pearls for the bubbles and her earring.
