Welcome to another challenge at Always Fun Challenge#105

Our theme this week is FLOWERS 

  

 I love digging out my Mission gold paints and trying to create. So for this card I took Simon says flowers and stamped three on water color paper. I colored with the Mission paints and fussy cut them out. I went around the edges with a black pen. I used Birch press stamp and scrap paper and die cut the leaves.  For the background I took another piece of water color paper and created the background. It needed something more so I took Tambi gold paint and did splatter and then ran the brush around the outer edge of the paper. I then added some dots to the centers of the flowers to tie it all together. I finished adding some sequins and stamped the sentiment.  I made sure all was dry this time so it didn't run like my April 1st card.  learned that lesson.. well at least for now.

This is my card.. I bought this awesome background die from My Favorite Things in the spring of 2017.. I cut different colors I liked cause knew I would use them.. This is what I came up with on colors. I am loving them.  I wanted to play with Ranger Oxide Inks again .. I need to learn and how better then to use and play. So took a piece of water color paper and a few Oxide inks and squished them on my craft sheet. I then spritzed with water and laid the WC paper in it. I dried and added more inks and spritzed and dried and kept going till I got this beautiful paper. I used a Stampin Up flower die and cut out different flowers. I used Birch Press leaves and Altnew inks.  I die cut the YOU -3 X's and layered them then stamped different sentiments from My Favorite Things.  To complete it I added some Nuvo drops..  I am really really pleased with the look. Hope you like it and it inspires you to play along at Pause Dream Enjoy.

You - make me happy - Inspiration Destination #139

Welcome to another challenge at Inspiration Destination #139 -

this challenge is

NOT A SQUARE CARD

 

I decided to take a tag and make a card out of it..
I took a scrap of card stock and cut around the card stock/tag  and scored about 1/2 inch down on card stock side and adhered just that 1/2 inch behind the tag so that you could lift the tag area and write your sentiment on the inside. 
You can see the photo below this one for a side view.

Before the back was added I took the tag and dot embossing folder and embossed it. I then took some scraps from the My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiments on different colors and added them to the tag. I die cut the YOU from MFT and layered them 3 times and then added YOU to the tag. I stamped the flower from Birch Press and bud with Altnew inks and die cut them out. I took a leaf from Stampin Up set and added this under the bud. I added Spectrum Noir glitter pen all over the flower and bud.  I finished the front with some Nuvo drops.

It's your birthday - Billie and Monika challenge

Today is my birthday.. it's another big one.. wow.. I do not feel my age so I guess that is good.

Today Monika at Creative with Monika and I are doing our challenge for each other again.. this was my turn to chose so I said number background, one flower and leaf or leaves and birthday..

So this is my card.

I took black card stock and Paper Trey Ink numbers die and cut numbers I did it about 4 times so I would have a variety of them. Then I laid them out and once I had what I liked I adhered them down.. next time I think I would run through my Xyron.. I don't like the residue from the glue. I then used Birch press flower and leaves and Altnew inks. For some reason the dark green in the leaf is not showing up.. I guess I should of used a darker green. I used a Simon Says sentiment and Nuvo drops.  I am happy with the look.. I can even see my age in there.. LOL.. of course the numbers aren't together but they are there.  Head over to Monika's blog  Creative with Monika and see her card..

Grateful - Creative with Stamps #20

Welcome to another month challenge at

Creative with Stamps #20   With the holiday fast approaching this challenge will be perfect to send / give to someone.

 

 

 

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but I was thinking Thankful and chose Grateful for my die cut. I'm thankful and grateful. I took out some background stamps from Paper Trey Ink and stamped 4 rows and heat embossed using Silver from Stampin Up. I then die cut the grateful from Tech. Tuesday and layered it twice.  Ok now what am I going to do??? Well I remember in the spring time I won a voucher from Birch Press design and so I ordered this flower (among other products). I used Ranger ink and stamped the flower and bud. I used the die to cut out. I then dug through my leaves I die cut months ago from LOT'S of scraps and added them and the flower. I like the look. I took Spectrum Noir pen and went over the lighter blue of the flower and bud.   Hope this card inspires you to play along and join in our Thankful challenge.
