We have a new challenge over at 

Alphabet Challenge

Theme: I - for ink blending

I had fun creating this card but I have to admit I YT how to use the stencil.. It came with 5 different stencils and I tried using them all and I did not like what I created so hence.. You Tube.. 

I used Stampin up card stock, I used SU ink and the stencils. I used just a couple of the stencils and felt better when it was done this time. I used a spellbinder die and cut two of the die and cut them in half and layered. I added the heat embossed sentiment.. I was an old red rubber stamp and the name was rubbed off the word. guess I have used this a lot over the years..I added the glittery ribbon strip.  I added some SU leaves, punched flowers and the blue in on the flowers is when I have used those ink sprays in my wooden box and on a paper towel and love the colors so much I glued it to a white card stock. Now when I need something pretty I used it.. So besides the stencil work being ink blending, the center blue of the flowers is ink blending... I finished with a few gems.. I added to a white card base.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Include Merry 

I still had some of this beautiful paper from Quick quote so used it for the background. I used some card stock and die cut the Simon Says sentiment out about 4 times and layered.. I have some gold sparkle ink and tapped it on the sentiment and set is aside to dry out. later I added the sentiment and tapped ever so lightly the ink again as it soaked in. I added some gold gems. In person this is really pretty. Computer doesn't do it justice..

I am using Gigi little witch.. I colored with copics. I found this frame from Quick Quotes and it was a lot longer but I cut it down and used it to fit the image and card. I added to this fancy paper and finished with the Tim Holtz sentiment and some gems.

This is the card  I came up with using the sketch.

I love this old wood stamp from Diamonds Temecula.. I stamped it and colored with copics.. Thought perfect for a guyz card.. lol.. I had different sentiments running through my head but I kept it clean and simple.. lol I added a few gems

Theme: Polkadots

Digging through my papers I found this polkadots and I don't know who made it. I liked the brown so I dug through my stamps and saw this image from The rubber cafe so stamped in a brownish ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues sentiment and heat embossed it on Vellum. I added a few blings.. the glue showed through the vellum. wish there was a way to keep that from happening. but it's there and I love the sentiment with the corset..

hello.. Well is fall in the air in your part of the world?  Kids getting back to school soon, and soon the holidays will be coming. I hope you had a great summer. 

Today we have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stampers watercolor 

Our theme is 
Anything goes / opt. layers

This is such a fun way to create an awesome background. I saw it months ago and tried again. Sorry don't remember who I first saw do it.. 

I took watercolor paper and just did some colors I thought would look good together and just brushed them all over the paper.  I set it aside to day for a couple days.. then I took an embossing folder and the flat side I smeared black in on it and then I carefully laid the painted side down in the black ink and added a couple pieces washi tape to hold in place and closed the raised side to close it. Run it through your machine.. then when you open it you have this beautiful piece. 

I didn't want to cover it with any images so just went for the sentiment and 3 gems..

Aud Sentiments #304 has a new challenge for August

Our theme is

Not a rectangle and or washi tape

I decided to do both, I used a My favorite thing die and first covered with card stock with three different washi prints. I then used the die to cut two pieces and then made a fold on the back piece close to the top and just added adhesive to that top area and added the front. I added a Quick quote sentiment which is on vellum and added the Stampin up leaves and flowers to help hold it down. I added a few gems to to flowers.

It was great to do some flowers and bring spring a little closer.. Here in Pacific Northwest, Washington State we have had weird weather. We got snow on Christmas and it just kept coming we got about a foot. Then all of a sudden we got rain and warmer weather and so the flooding started. We were concerned as our property is right along a river but lucky we didn't have any issues.. But we were land locked. Roads closed. I-5 the Freeway (we live 18 miles from the freeway, we're out in the country) was closed for 20 miles. so even if we could get out we wouldn't be able to get on the freeway.. It's not over yet though.. 

So this card was happy to create.  I used copics to color in the Southern bouquet. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used Lil inker stitch die and added so some card stock. I added the Stampin up sentiment which I used a SU die. I added some gems.

I used a Club Scrap car image.. I am limited to transportation images. I tried to use some old looking designer papers to also work with the vintage look and make it masculine.. The dp's are scraps.. I am using the image called Faith Hi.. I can't find her in the store but sure if you're interested in her you can asked the store.  I colored the image with copics. I used Rubber Seed and Stampin up ink to create the grassy seaweed. I went over the mermaid tail with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some gems to her hair bubbles and Nuvo drops to the air bubbles. I added to a piece of blue card stock then to the flip flop dp from Memory box. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues.

I am using the image called

For my card I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush and Nuvo drops in the center of each flower. I stamped with Stampin up ink the Simon Says sentiment. I added to some Quick Quote scraps. I added the two SU leaves to the side and a SU punch flower with a gem in the center.

I have a card to share.. This being Thursday it's Oldie But Goodie over at

I am using an old image called Spring Duck 2  I colored the image with copics. I found a piece of embossed card stock and a scrap so stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment and then added the image. I used Stampin up flower punch and added the flowers and Martha Stewart punched leaves. I added a gem to the center of each flower.

Hellooooo!!! It's reminder 15th for the challenge going on over at Do-Al (l) Creative #46

Our theme is CREATE YOUR BACKGROUND

For my card I used Alcohol ink and created this background. While it was still tacky I added gold foil and I wish you could see the shimmer the gold gives.. I added a strip of 1/4 inch. tape to the card base and using the same foil I added so there's a gold strip top and bottom. I die cut some My favorite happy birthdays in a light orange and then in a navy blue and stacked them. I added to the card along with some Stampin up leaves and flowers. I finished with some bling. I love creating backgrounds.

This cute image is called Coffee Confidential   I colored the images with copics. I added some stamped off Simon says leaves for the background using Stampin up ink. I cut the image down and added to the plaid designer paper. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and added some Stampin up leaves and flowers. Finished with some gems in the flowers and Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the digi image flowers.

I am playing along over at 

Coffee Lovers Card makers Spring / Summer blog hop

this is Day 6 

 so below is my card

I dug through some scraps and using Spellbinder border die, Stamp simply coffee cup, Stampin up punch and leaf dies created my scene. I used my drywall mesh and Ranger ink to create the stenciled background. I added the elements to the card and added some gems to the center of the flowers and stamped with SU ink the Stamp simply sentiment.
