It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #282

Theme:  Blue Skies

For my card I used Ranger ink and created the ground and used Rubber seed grass stamp and Stampin up ink.  I stamped the branch and it's an old wood block and no name now.. I colored it in with colored pencils.  I then stamped the Stampin up kitty and coloring in the heart with colored pencils. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink to create the sky.  I wanted to bring in the pink from the heart so I saw a strip of pink card stock in my scrap box and cut a couple strips and adhered behind the piece. I added this to a card base. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set.

I am using the image Poppy flowers autumn fox from Polkadoodles... I know the flowers are to be red but wanted to keep the fall feel colors.. I used copics and added my clouds with a template I made and used Ranger ink.. I used Rubber seed grass and Stampin up die flowers with a little Nuvo drop to the center.. I put the flower on the twine knot..

I am using the image called Faith Hi.. I can't find her in the store but sure if you're interested in her you can asked the store.  I colored the image with copics. I used Rubber Seed and Stampin up ink to create the grassy seaweed. I went over the mermaid tail with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some gems to her hair bubbles and Nuvo drops to the air bubbles. I added to a piece of blue card stock then to the flip flop dp from Memory box. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues.

I am using the image called Ice cream day  I love her long hair.. I colored the image with copics. I added sand stamp with a Rubber baby buggy bumper stamp. The grass is from rubber Seed and both are stamped with Stampin up ink. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the ice cream. I added the Simon Says sentiment.

Time for a new challenge over at

Always Fun Challenge #208

Our theme this week is

EASTER

So about a week or so ago.. I did the masking one layer card. So since it came out pretty good I thought I would try again and build my confidence.  So I Stamped the Tech. Tues. bunny, masked then stamped the TT. carrot and Simon Says egg, masked and using Red Rubber Seed grass stamp and Stampin up ink stamped the grasses. I used Ranger ink to kinda fill in the area. I added my cloud template. I used Simon Says sentiment. I  then uncovered the images and colored with copics.  I went over the egg with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I think I should of brought the grasses up higher so he looked more like he was sitting in the grass.. But since it's a second try I am not going to worry about it.

Our theme is

THINKING OF YOU

I love this fun stamp. It's a large Embossing arts red rubber stamp. I stamped him on a piece of pale blue card stock. I added Oxide Ranger ink to the background to give a water look. I colored the image but I didn't like the look so I stamped the fish on another piece of white card stock and using Copics I colored the image. I added some Rubber Seed grass to the bottom and a few stands of grass from My favorite things with Quick Quote chalk ink. I added some water splatters on the base.  I fussy cut the image out and using foam dots added it over the stamped image. I added some Nuvo drops and the Reverse Confetti sentiment.

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Primrose beach life.. I colored the image with copics. I added this cute fence that is a rubber stamp and the name is worn off. I added the sea grass from Rubber seed.  I used my cloud stencil and Ranger ink. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment with Stampin up ink. I used Lil inker stitch die. I added this to the designer paper and added some twine and the sand dollar button. I added a little shell to the bottom corner. I finished with Wink of Stella to the image. It's July 7th and in the mid 50's(f) and raining on and off.. I want warmth and the beach would be nice.

I love this stamp and have used it a lot over the years. I wanted to do a cool water looking background... So I grabbed this OLD wood block stamp from Embossing arts company. I stamped it on Bristol card stock. I then used Zig markers to color and used a paint brush move the color around. I did the same to the background water look. I used another old wood stamp from Rubber seed which is the grass and I used Stampin up ink for the grass color. I also used a SU sentiment. I added some sequins and glossy accents for the water bubbles, lips and eyes.

  theme... MERMAIDS

 

 

A friend came over and I was showing her what can be done with Ranger inks and smooshing and this is the paper I created. Now I can use it for the water mermaid theme card. That worked out perfect. I took a few rubber wood block stamps one from Rubber seed and Magenta and stamped the foliage below. I then stamped some mermaids from My Favorite Things on water color paper and using H2O paints colored them in and the leaves. I used Zig marker for the skin and cheeks. I die cut the images out and added the sentiment from MFT and the images. I completed the scene by adding some clear Nuvo drops so it looked like water bubbles.

We have a new challenge at Sunny Day Crafting #25

and the theme is ANIMALS... ANY ANIMAL

(we are changing our theme for the rest of the year to be any animal.. so lets break out those fun animal images and play along..)

 

 

I wanted to create a card with giraffes so I chose My favorite things giraffes.. and I used the bird from Tech. Tuesday.. I stamped the giraffes and sentiment and leaves and colored with copics. I then decided I needed something else so that is when the bird came in. So I did one above the lettering and then one on the giraffes back. I used some Ranger ink and a brush to give some blue to the sky. I used Rubber seed grass stamp and some Stampin up ink. I then used a copic pen and added some brown for the ground and a few more blades of grass.

Billie and Monika challenge

Well it's time for Me and Monika - Creative with Monika

to challenge each other.. It's my turn to chose again so I chose Water and Fish.. could be river, lake, ocean, fish bowl...  I chose under water ocean scene. I first used this awesome large fish stamp from Embossing Arts Co.. It is one of my favorite fish. I added some other smaller fish from Hampton Stamps and PSX. I used some greenery from a Simon Says stamp set I have. Those white bubbles are also from the stamp set. It's really a flower stamp set.. perfect for the under water scene. I used the black leaves stamp from Rubber seed. I embossed all of the images. I then used Ranger Inks and colored in the fish with water/ink.  Then I used Ranger inks and water colored the background.  I wish you could see this card in real life. It does look awesome.  I cant wait to see what Monika created.  Oh I was going to add a sentiment but I did not want it to take away from the scene. Figured all could be said inside of the card.. What do you think??

We have a new challenge at Catch the bug.. BINGO.. I love bingos. so many choices.

 

 

This is the BINGO card..

I liked the Guy and dog Free Friday earlier this month.. I had to use again..

I chose the bottom row.. Washi Tape (along the bottom of my card) Orange (background/pants/sequins) Embossing (sentiment)  I am using the image called Guy and Dog which you can find at the Bugaboo store  I used Kuretake Gansi Paints and created the background on water color paper. I then used some Rubber seed grass stamps and added them along the bottom of the card. I used two different Washi tapes and added them under the grass. I colored the image with copics and fussy cut it out. I used foam dots behind the image. I embossed the sentiment from Tech. Tuesday with Stampin up black embossing powder. Added some orange sequins.  The black behind the card is just background piece, not a part of the card.  So lets see what you create.. I hope I inspired you.

As you like it - fav. skin/fur color and why (copic E00-E11-R20-sometimes E31  for humas. I like the almost true white skin color it gives. (I don't feel comfortable with other skin tones. I've tried and they get too weird.. I did not put R20 on this guy but most times I do for men or women. for Animals in the brown tones I use copics E43-E44-E47 most time because my dogs are in the brownish tones. )
