I am using the Clematis Trellis image. I colored with copics and added to a piece of pink card stock then the DCWV green. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and added a  few diamonds of the same color to the card.

Hello

It's getting warmer and I am ready for May and sunshine.. 

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #371  

Theme: Body of water

I just got this new embossing folder from Stampin up and so this was a good time to try it out. I added Ranger inks to the paper and then embossed the waves.. I stamped the Tech. Tues images and colored with copics. I dug through my greenery and found what I thought worked for algae type greenery. I finished with some Nuvo drops for bubbles.  Thought the sentiment was perfect for a guy card.

Theme: Thing with wings

For my card I used Stampin up products and a little Ranger ink and diamond drills from my diamond paintings.. There too pretty to throw away so embellishments for my cards I use them.

I used a brick embossing folder to the green background. I added the designer papers and die cut the white butterflies and using Ranger ink added color. I added them to the card and added the diamonds. I heat embossed the sentiment on Vellum. I love this card.

Theme:  A - topic, image that begins with A

I went with Ale for my A... I don't drink but I have this fun Stampin up set and thought perfect for my card. I die cut the images out and put the Ale glass together. I used a piece of scrap and heat embossed the sentiments. I die cut the piece under the cup using Paper Trey Ink die.  I used a SU embossing folder on the black paper but you can't see it in the photo.

I am using the image Coffee and flowers.. He's so cute and I colored with copics and used Paper trey ink sentiment and Simon Says hearts for the cup ring.  I used my cloud template with Ranger ink. I used My favorite things stitch die and added to a piece of card stock then to DCWV dp.

I was looking through all my stamps and trying to figure something for Art deco... and couldn't find anything, so next was the papers and came across this one and thought perfect. It reminds me of Art deco wall paper.  DCWV has so many choices of papers and I have quite lots of those large pads. I like how it came out.  hope it inspires you to create

Happy April and hard to believe it's the middle of the month

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #370

I chose the theme

Theme:  Fancy Fold 

I used Stampin up products. I creased down the center of the front  and added designer papers on both sections. I then stamped the peaches and leaves and fussy cut. I added them to a piece of white that I stamped a mesh looking in green ink on it. I added the sentiment. I added adhesive right down the center fold and added the peach piece. Below you can see why it's just the center. 

This photo shows the card partially open the green embossed strip is placed on foam dots so they are higher and the front right fold is up against it to keep the card open. If you open the card all the way there is a space to write your sentiment.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Embossing wet or dry / or flowers

I did both, although you can't really see the pink card stock that is embossed... I used Stampin up flower and SU ink to create the flowers. I did use Posh impressions leaves to give a fuller effect on the ground.  I added my clouds with Ranger ink. I added a couple birds flying that are from Simon Says.  The Sentiment is so true and I might keep this card and keep it on my desk and read it every day.

Theme: Spring daisies

For my card I tried a few things with some dies but came up with this card as the final. I stamped the My favorite things flowers using Simon says ink. I used some scraps and MFT dies to do the green cuts. I laid out on different papers for the background but liked this best. I used a Sizzix embossing folder and then added the flowers and leaves. I used the embossed Stampin up sentiment and die.

Hello

Time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme:  Z for zoom anything that moves fast

Well is you have a small dog, my Maltese and Shih Tzu are small dogs and oh so fast. I loved seeing them chase each other around the yard. You couldn't catch up with them. lucky enough they were in our large fenced yard. The Shih Tzus  and Maltese have now passed.. so those zoom days are over.  I created the clouds and ground with my templates I made and used Ranger ink. I stamped the My favorite things doggie and I didn't color the color of our babes but used colors  I thought went well for this breed, and colored with copics. I added the sentiment from the set. I love this card. It brings back sweet memories of my pups... zoom zoom..

I was over at my friends house and we made some cards. This is one I made. I love the cute mushrooms and simple but effective style. All products are from Stampin up.  The sentiment is perfect for the mushrooms.. They pop up all over the place. I see them as I take my doggies on walks.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #369 

Theme: fun and games - any game or sport

After I made this card I thought... hummm not very masculine for Cardz 4 Guyz.. BUT I am sure there are lots of different ballet dancers that play different rolls and he doesn't have a top for his costume.. so it's a guy to me.. lol..and ballet is a form of art and sport.. I took an embossing folder and inked the side that is the background and laid a light pink card stock down and carefully ran it through.. I then stamped the My favorite things image and colored with copics and using a MFT die cut it out and added on foam dots. I added the MFT sentiment cut with Tech. Tues. banner. I added it and with a SU punch flower and some black diamond drills for the center. I do love this card.

Theme: Christmas Foliage

I saw this card being done - the shape and I liked it so made it, it's Stampin up products, Ranger and My favorite things... I love how it came out. I die cut the flower and leaves and used Ranger ink.. I see the leaves look dead. I may have to go cut again and make green...  if they aren't brownish when this comes on then I changed them.. LOL  (yup - later  I changed it)
