Hello

Just to let you know Happy little stampers - all of their groups, is closing all challenges after their December challenges. It's been a fun group and love being able to use my own products. 

We have a new challenge over at
Happy little stampers watercolor

Our theme is 
Anything Goes

For my card I used watercolor paper and my Mission Gold watercolors and created the background and while it was still quite wet I added some splatters of Paul Reuban metallic and set it aside to dry. I then took a scrap and used my watercolor powders color burst and created a piece that I liked. I took another piece and just added colors for the greenery.. setting it all aside to dry for a couple days I then took Stampin up dies and cut out the ornament, pine cones and greenery. I used Simon says die for the words. I love the metallic giving a look of far away lights..

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme this month is

Anything goes / Embossing

I had a dream about this card... so got up and made it. I was surprised I remembered it after a night of sleeping..  I used Ranger ink and did a soft background. I then used this awesome embossing folder and love the look. I used watercolor paper and Stampin up leaves and Altnew watercolor to give color to the leaves. I let them dry and then used the dies .  I stamped the fox from Sugar pea and using Prima watercolors painted him and die cut out.  I love that he's raking up the leaves. I added the sentiment and some bling.

Hello 

Today we have a new challenge over at

Our theme this month

Tropical

Oh how I wish is was on a tropical island. I love the water and heat.. 

Can't be there so I created it.. 

I stamped the My favorite thing hula girl and using my Mijello watercolors created the background.  I used Prima watercolors to paint her.

hello.. Well is fall in the air in your part of the world?  Kids getting back to school soon, and soon the holidays will be coming. I hope you had a great summer. 

Today we have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stampers watercolor 

Our theme is 
Anything goes / opt. layers

This is such a fun way to create an awesome background. I saw it months ago and tried again. Sorry don't remember who I first saw do it.. 

I took watercolor paper and just did some colors I thought would look good together and just brushed them all over the paper.  I set it aside to day for a couple days.. then I took an embossing folder and the flat side I smeared black in on it and then I carefully laid the painted side down in the black ink and added a couple pieces washi tape to hold in place and closed the raised side to close it. Run it through your machine.. then when you open it you have this beautiful piece. 

I didn't want to cover it with any images so just went for the sentiment and 3 gems..

Hello

We have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stamper - watercolor

theme... ANYTHING GOES WATERCOLORED/ opt. HAPPY

I started by creating a card and thought why not use this for my calendar page so this is what I did. 

For years now a group of us ladies make 12 calendar pages  and then my crafty friend uses my Cinch binder machine and puts all the pages together of all our assigned months and we get a lovely fun 12 month of joy to look. This is my image before I added the Aug. calendar.. Below is the finish product. 

I used Stampin up images and dies. I used Prima water colors to create 12 backgrounds and water colors strips of watercolor paper so I could die cut the flowers, grasses and tub for the flowers. I added some diamond drills to some of the flowers. I used copics to color the hippo.. 

    This is the finished page along with everyone elses awesome pages to look at and enjoy each month. When the calendars were put together I got a different one than the one above.. so you can obviously see there were 12 different ones.. lol

Our theme is always

ANYTHING GOES / WATERCOLORED / opt. BRIGHT

For my card I smooshed Ranger inks down and dried and repeated till I got the look I wanted. I then took some Prima watercolors and spattered the paints. I took some Stampin up card stock and usnig Spellbinder scallop die and ran it through a Stampin up embossing folder. I stamped the Tech. Tues. image and sentiment and colored with copics. I finished with some left over diamon drills.

For my card I used Stampin up products. I stamped the images and using the refillable inks I water colored using a water brush and the inks. I used the die cut to cute the images out. I embossed the background piece and layered the images. I finished with a couple of gems on the Queen sentiment.

This is my card. I stamped the Stampin up images and using Prima watercolors painted the image and some of the background. I added the sentiment. It was left over from another project and I didn't care for it but thought perfect for this card. I don't know who the sentiment is by but the die is My favorite things.

My dear friend sells Stampin up and every month she has  zoom bingo and a group of us (about 6-8 ladies) play about 4-5 games.. We pay a small amount and have fun. The ladies are local and out of state.. Love zoom.. The winning amout we get is put towards Stampin up products. So I was a winner a few times.. I am using one of the stamp sets I won for this months challenges on the different DT's I am on.. This is from the By my side stamp set. I stamped the images and using Prima watercolors and Paul Ruben metallic painted the background and the image.. I used some left over diamond drills to give some sky bling.

This is my fun card. I used a new Stampin up set I got.. It's actually for Christmas.. but I covered the sentiment and stamped the image. I then used a Newton's nook birthday wishes sentiment. I painted the image with Prima watercolors. I added some diamond drills for the embellishments. I love the look on the cute little critters..

Our challenge is 

ANYTHING GOES - WATERCOLORED

For my watercolored project I tried the bokeh technique.. I used Prima watercolors and painted the background with various colors of green.. It dried a lot lighter.. I used a wet brush to try to lift some of the paint to give the bokeh effect. Once this was dry I used some dark paint and painted the branches.  I did the highlight with Bleed proof white on the branches and then dotted the ends of the branches to give a flower look. Once this was all dry. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment. I need to practice on the bokeh tech. but overall I like it.

Wow how can it be May already.. We are finally getting out of some cold and weird weather and seeing more sun.. but still getting quite a bit of rain.. rain, sun, rain sun... LOL

This is my card.. I used a My favorite things stamp and dies. I did the circle die and added my cloud template and Ranger ink.. I then added the images on foam. The images were painted with Prima watercolors. I added the heat embossed sentiment. I just love these cute cute images.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at 

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor 

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

For my card. I used the squares that came out of last months challenge piece I did. (they are painted with ShinHan watercolors) I gave them to my hubby and told him where the precut A2 size card stock was.. This is the background card stock he chose and he kinda had them laid out this way.. I just moved them around a little. I then had this Stampin up die cut that I used a little Ranger ink to give color. The sentiment is from Stampin up and heat embossed..  The die cut squares are watercolored and splattered with gold metallic paint.  I added a few left over diamond painting drills.

As you like it - recycle or bought (left over diamond painting drills, instead of throwing away I save for my card embellishments. The squares were left over from another project that I used. I like the diamond cuts in the drill for the extra sparkle)

The is a watercolor piece I did and used Shin Han watercolors. I splattered it with Perfect pearls and some metalic from Paul Rueban.. I then used my Lawn Fawn die. I hated cutting out this pretty piece but I have all those pretty squares that I will save and use on another card.. Maybe next months?  I then took a yellow card stock and various little stamps and stamped the squares. To give some color I used some left over Diamond painting drills.

It's time for another month long challenge over at

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor

Our theme is 

ANYTHING GOES / WATERCOLOR

For my card I took some liquid watercolors by Let's Make Art.. I added red/yellow/blues and lots of water. The red kinda took over but you can see hints of the other colors.. I let it dry. I used a scrap and Memory box die and added this to the background. I didn't want to cover too much of the background since it was so pretty and this being February.. month of love I thought this worked. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the flower parts. I added the My favorite things sentiment and used Tech. Tues. banner die. I added some Diamond drills that are left over from my diamond painting projects.
