Hello

We have a new month long challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #142

Our theme this month is

FESTIVE THINGS WITH WINGS

I was thinking penguins an my crafty friend was over and she said why not flamingos and Santa hats.. So of course I had both and went for it.. I stamped the tree with Ranger ink (don't know who the tree is by) and used some color pencils to fill in the tree better and the garland. I went over the garland with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added my cloud template with Ranger ink.. I stamped and die cut the flamingos and used my color pencils and a little copic on the wings. I added the hates from Jolee boutique. and the images and sentiments is from Tech. Tues. and the Merry Christmas is from Simon Says.

Our theme this month is

CUTE CHRISTMAS CRITTERS

This is my card. I used Ranger ink and Hero Arts images. I stamped and created the scene. I colored with some Color It color pencils. I die cut the Taylored Expressions clouds out of some scraps and used Quick Quote chalk ink to distress the edges. The sentiment is also from the Hero arts set.

I used the image and sentiment from Your next stamp. I colored with Color it pencils. I added the sentiment with Stampin up ink. I finished with some Nuvo drops. I backed with red card stock.  This was a fun card to create. It was fun to color with pencils again.

I was just playing with stamps the other day and stamped this flower from Simon says and then added the Stampin up thank you.. It sat on my desk for a few days so yesterday I decided to color it. I started with copics but forgot that I didn't use a copic safe ink so broke out the Color it pencils and finished coloring the image. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh jewels and called it done.

Time for a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Guyz #267

Our theme this challenge is

BY THE WATER

As soon as I saw this theme I knew the stamp I would use. It's from a dear dear long time friend who died 12 yrs ago. She was also a crafter. She was so awesome. When she passed I got 3 stamps from her one was a sentiment she made up on a challenge and they made it into a stamp for her and a few other stamps. this is one from Santa Rosa PSX.. She loved the beach and her ashes are there.  I stamped this on some blue designer paper and then using my cloud template and Ranger ink created the clouds (duh) and then using copics and color pencils created the hint of water and the beach. the sky looked so bare so I punched some Martha Stewart birds flying and one on the beach and used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the birds..

This is another fun card I created using the Simon Says kit of the month for April. I stamped the leaves and butterflied. I used a sentiment from Gina K.  I then used Mission paints to create the background. I then let it dry. I used colored pencils and colored the images. I went over the butterflies with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I also splattered the background with some of the Mission paints.

I was just playing with some Simon Says stamps and created this layout. I then took Mission paints and created the background. I thought the flowers looked to plain so I used colored pencils and gave them some colors. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the flowers.

Bugaboo image / Flowers / Stripes - Catch the bug

So how is your March going?  I hope you're ready for another

 challenge at Catch the bug..

The theme for this Saturday challenge is BINGO..

I chose the row over on the right side.. Bugaboo image / Flowers / Stripes and the image is called Flower shelf

I used my color it color pencils to color the image. I then found a scrap of Quick Quote stripe paper so I added this to the bottom of the shelf image. I then put the turquoise behind the image through an embossing folder and mounted them all together and added this to the card base. I added some clear Nuvo drops to the dots that were already on the image.
