Hello..

Theme: Quote

I took a piece of card stock and just added some Ranger ink blending. I then used my Sizzix detailed embossing folder and I love this embossing folder. I used a quote from Spotted canary and added to black card base. I added a few diamond drills.

Theme: B - butterflies 2 or more

I had this beautiful scrap piece from Stampin up and I didn't want to throw it away and it's so small - but I thought maybe I could make it work with this card. I took a piece of Stampin up card stock and embossed it with an old Sizzix folder. I added the Stampin up piece and then I die cut 3 butterflies from Tech Tues. I wanted colors that would look more for the dry weather climate. I have no idea if dry weather areas have butterflies  - sad if they don't have butterflies.

This is the card I created using the image Summer trainers... I colored it with copics. I used My favorite things circle die. I took Stampin up card stock and a Sizzix embossing folder. I used Ranger ink and softly went around the edges. I added some diamond drills and half pearls to embellish.  I added the Stampin up sentiment.

Theme: Spring daisies

For my card I tried a few things with some dies but came up with this card as the final. I stamped the My favorite things flowers using Simon says ink. I used some scraps and MFT dies to do the green cuts. I laid out on different papers for the background but liked this best. I used a Sizzix embossing folder and then added the flowers and leaves. I used the embossed Stampin up sentiment and die.

Theme: Something Metallic / card stock, embellishments

I used a embossing folder and tried adding some metallic paste to the raised areas but it just shows as smudges.. I used an un-named die and scraps to die cut the branches/flowers.. I used a Simon Says bow and used metallic paper and used a metallic star to the center. I used Sizzix die to cut the tag from a scrap of metallic paper and used Stampin up Love to the tag.

November 2022

Every year a group of 12 of us each get a month and we make 12 pages, usually the same for that month. I got November. So I made 12 of these pages. My dear friend comes over after she's collected the other months and she uses my Binding machine from Taylored Expressions and  put them all together..

We get an awesome year of crafty happiness every month.  

I used Stampin up gray card stock, and embossing folder by Sizzix. I stamped the Stampin Up flower and colored with copics. I die cut the flowers behind with scraps. I added some twine, the sentiment is from Tech. Tues. and die cut with SU. die. I added the calendar backed with SU card stock and finished with a gem.

Our theme for this challenge is 

BABY GIRL

I have this old stamp from Creative Cousins which I love.. Perfect for any new born.. I knew I wanted to use it so I dug through some of my paper packs and found this Pink Fresh studio piece. It's already decorated with fun splatters and a few words.. So I cut it down to the size I wanted and stamped the Creative Cousins sentiment. Under the heart area was part of the word SMILE which was dark so it really stood out... So using a Sizzix die used the other side of the paper and cut a heart. I finished with a few Diamond painting drills.

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #176

Our theme this challenge is

TRIANGLES 

For my card I dug through some scraps.. These are Quick Quote designer papers. I used a Sizzix die and cut the shapes and went around the edges with some Quick Quote chalk ink then laid out the design. I found a cute Tim Holtz snarky sentiment and finished with some diamond painting drills that I am getting quite a stash of.. I do at least one if not more diamond painting a month and they are usually large ones so there are plenty of left overs. They are perfect for card embellishments.

For my card I used the Sizzix images and using Mission Gold water colors painted them and used the dies to cut the images out. I found this DCWV Far East designer paper. I used Simon Says 3 square die and then added the images on foam dots. I took two of the squares from the center and added brads and a coin. I also added this with foam dots.

Well this is the last card for my May Guest Designer over at

It's been fun and I appreciate being asked if I wanted to GD.. 

Our theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

I am using the scripture from Psalm 138:8A .. I use the NLT bible version. 

My bible says

The Lord will work out his plans for my life -- for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don't abandon me, for you made me.

For my card I used the brick Sizzix embossing folder and added some smears of white embossing ink. I set it aside to dry. I have these tiny envelopes and I took one and added some Ranger ink and distressed it a little so it wasn't so stark white. I then added the Stampin up dies (using SU ink) to the envelope. It took awhile to arrange to my liking. I used Kat Scrappiness distress die to cut out the sentiment and added this and the envelope of flowers to the card base.

Today we are starting a new challenge over at 

Make My Monday #139

Our theme is SOMETHING NEW

That leaves is open to so many things..  Can't wait to see what you create.

For my card I chose new stamp set.. My dear blog crafting sister gave me some stamps few months ago and I haven't used this one yet.. I have never had sushi, I know I saw it one time and walked by quite fast as it did not look good to me.. So other than the shrimp on the top image I have no idea what things are. I thought seaweed warp on the that green strip and I know wasibi is green.. I don't even know if I spelt it right.. lol. but I had fun painting the images with Mission gold watercolors. I used Ranger ink and a stencil I found at the bottom of my stencil box. I found some scraps and used Paper Trey ink die for the background base and added a strip of Quick quote scrap. I heat embossed the sentiment.  I think it's so cute.
