Hello and wow 5 more days till Christmas..  Hope everyone is done and ready.. and you have free time to get some crafting done.

The Yellow team has a theme for you..

 "Y" is for YELLOW...

 

 

I do like the color yellow but boy I have a hard time using it in crafting.. I did make a Christmas card a few month back with yellow.. but not this time.. I know - I know.. it's almost Christmas time and here I am doing a fall leaf..

I saw this yellow card stock and it was a nice rich yellow so made me think of fall so I got my Stampin up leaf stamp and die and Ranger inks and stamped the leaf. I stamped it a couple more times in just white and adhered them all together to give a sturdy leaf. I knew I wanted to foam mount the leaf. I don't know if you can see it but I stamped the leaf on some shinny silver-ish paper.. So it was not a sturdy cardstock.

I added the Tech. Tues. sentiment.. but the base looked too plain.. So I watered down some dark orange and brown and did the flicks on the card base and everything else within 8 inches..  I then went around the edges with some Ranger ink and mounted the leaf.

I hope you are inspired and even if it's not summer or spring, there are awesome yellow flowers.  I know you will find something YELLOW to create..

End of November.. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and got your favorite pies and meats.. I love turkey (the white meat) and cranberries.. I love having a nice turkey cranberry sandwich days after.. yum.

 

Well on to the challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy #201

The Orange team chose the theme to be WINTER WEATHER

 

 

This is another OLD wooden rubber stamp that I mounted. I have no idea who this is by.. But it's a cool stamp. I stamped the image in black ink and then using my Zig markers I colored it soft colors and added some glitter for the winter snow ice look. I added Paper Trey Ink sentiment.

I hope you can see what the Orange team created. It will get you mojo going if you're in a turkey fog and cant think.. LOL

Again digging in my holiday Fall type wood block red rubber stamps.. I found this oldie but goodie.. I think the image is Stampassions .. It has ink on the block so wasn't sure what it said but this is what I thought it said.

I embossed the image in black and then using my Zig markers I water colored the image. I used a Tech. Tues. sentiment.  Then I took the Simon Says Large scallop/stitch die and cut both top and bottom. I added this to some dark green card stock.  I hope you can check out the Yellow team's creations over at Sunny Day Crafting.

I am using the fun image Little Witch Ellie  I started by creating the background with some Kuretake Gansai Paints and set it aside to dry. I then die cut the image out using a Simon Says stitch die. I colored the image with Copics. I have this cute spider that doesn't have a name on the block. It's quite old. The sentiment is acrylic but again no name on the container I have it in.  Sorry.. This card is really CAS.

Welcome to another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy #195

 

The Orange team has chosen   SPOOKY CUTE    as the theme

 

OMG.. I just by mistake got these two image side by side... I don't know what I did but I have wanted to do this in the past and never could figure how to do it.. I just hope it post ok with out being in the side bar area.. I might need to correct after it's posted..

Anyhow again in my Halloween box of wooden stamp I found this spooky but cute stamp set. by Hook line and inkers..
I used the My Favorite Things dome die and I used very little copic ink on the image. I wanted them to stay Ghost white..
I added the banners using a Tech. Tues die and used YNS "B" from my alphabet can of die letters. I then added some google eyes for the "OO" part.. I thought the background needed more cuteness.. so I added more google eyes to different circles.  You can see it better in the close up photo..
So lets see you SPOOKY CUTE projects.. I can't wait to see what you create.

Boo - Bugaboo / Catch the bug Free Friday

I messed up on this Fridays free-b.. which means I messed up on next weeks also.. So this week free-b will not be available till next week.

 

Just in time for Halloween Bugaboo has a image for you.. You can see the design teams inspiration over at Catch the bug.

 

 

This is the cute little "Boo Ghost" image that is free.. So you have a week to pick it up over at Bugaboo.

I used Taylored Expressions postage die and then colored the image with copics. I have a pad of Halloween papers so thought this one went well with the image. Cute little ghost huh... Oh I added some glossy accents to the pumpkin mouth/eyes and stars..

I am using the image "Bertie".. I thought this is such a funny fun image. I couldn't think of a sentiment to use. I am sure I probably have one but my mind just couldn't figure one.. but I think the squirrel says it all and Bertie expression..

I colored the image with copics and used the Simon Says Wonky die. I added my cloud template and called it done.

This was so simple to create. I didn't think Nuvo drops or twine would benefit the card so it's pretty simple. Simple is good.

I found a few fun pumpkin images but picked this PSX wood block pumpkin. I stamped it with Memento and colored it with Copics. I added some Ranger ink for the bottom ground area and my cloud template. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues. and is white embossed. I completed with Nuvo drops..

Hope you play along. Fall is pretty much here and Thanksgiving will be here soon. This is the perfect time to make a fun pumpkin card or two..

Welcome to another challenge at Craftaholics R Us #39

 

The theme for this challenge is HALLOWEEN  so dig out those stamps or dies and create your awesome Halloween card for those special ones in your life.

 

 

I've mentioned before I don't do Halloween but boy I sure seem to have lots of Halloween stamps. I got the box out that is filled with fun stamps and just smiled.. they are all wooden block rubber. I chose this stamp ..

The witch is by Mostly Animals Co... The Spider is by Visual Image Co. I colored with copics and used Ranger inks for the background. The sentiment is from Darcies. I added Nuvo drops for the spider eyes and the witch nose wart.. The small words on the book is from Paper Trey Ink.  I drew the black line for the spider thread..  I do like this fun card. I will fine someone special to give this to. I sure hope you play along.

Happy Fall - Bugaboo Free Friday - Catch the bug

Fall is in the air and we have a Bugaboo Free Friday image. You can get inspiration over at Catch the bug and see what the design team did.

 This is "Fall trio" the free Friday image.  I cut the circles out and colored with copics. I added Simon Says leaves colored with Zig markers behind two and a Stampin up die leaf behind another. My husband cut some buttons off his shorts and laid them on my craft table.. well this was perfect to fill in the blank spaces. I added some twine and before I adhered everything down I ran the card stock through and embossing folder and distressed the edges. Fall is coming and perfect time for you to pick up this free image.

Well this is another team I joined. Craftaholics R Us... yup I am a craftaholic.. I like that better than hoarder.. lol

 

Craftaholics R Us #37  We are a weekly challenge with a theme..

 

I am on the Green team and the theme is FALL COLORS  for this week.

I hope you can play along..

 

 

I looked through some designer papers and went for one of my favorite companies. Basic Gray.. I liked these 5 papers and thought what to do... So I added adhesive to my background base and laid the papers down then cut it down to 4.25 x 5.5. I then took Gina K - botanical stamp set and Ranger ink and stamped the script. I then stamped in black the two silhouettes and used gray ink for the other silhouette. I die cut the image out with My Favorite Things stitch die. I die cut two butterflies from an old Stampin up folder die. I added some twine and half pearls to them. I added some Nuvo drops to the one plant and Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the black plants.  I really hope I have inspired you. These are my fall colors.

We're back with a New release at Bugaboo

and you can see the design teams creations at Catch the bug.

I am using a Gelli Plate design I made years ago. I thought it had some good fall colors that went well with the images.

The images from Bugaboo is called "trio scarecrows"  I colored the images with copics. I went around the piece with Ranger inks. I stamped the Verve stamps sentiments on the banners from Tech. Tues. I wasn't sure which way to add the sentiment.. I went with the "a happy" a cheerful" "a warm" "Hello"  reading from bottom to top.

This is a fun cute card..
