Theme: Poinsettia

I borrowed a friends stamp set and stamped the flowers three times and a few leaves.. I decided to color them in the pink tones.. I added a little blue around the images and added the Stampin up sentiment and used a My favorite things die.. I added to a piece of Stampin up card stock.

I had fun creating this card. I used papers from Quick Quote.. I stamped the Your next stamp deer and colored with copics. I used My favorite things die.. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and  I embellished the collar with some gold diamonds..

Hello again.. It's time for a new challenge at

Alphabet Challenge 

Our Letter - H  for Holiday - Summer or Christmas in July

Since I don't make card's for summer holidays I went with Christmas.. I chose some Quick Quote scraps and few others laying around.. I stamped the Your next stamp Reindeer. I just added a hint of color to him I added some diamond drills to his collar.. I cute out with My favorite things dies. and added the Simon Says sentiment. He's so cute. look at that face. I added more diamond drills beside the sentiment.

I colored the image with copics. I used Ranger ink to give a background. The stencil is from Simon Says and using texture paste. I stamped the Your next stamp sentiment with Stampin up ink. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the phone front and snowmans eyes.

Our theme is 

ANYTHING FROM THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SONG

                                                         On the twelfth day of Christmas

My true love gave to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves

                                                          And a partridge in a pear tree.  

For my card I painted the background using Altenew paints and bleed proof white and created the pond and snowy scene. I stamped the Tech. Tues. swan and colored with copics. I added the swan to the pond.. It's Swans a Swimming.. I know there should of been more but not enough room and it's the thought of swan a swimming. I added the Your next stamp sentiment.

For my card I stamped the Azadi Earles branch then the Your next stamp image on water color paper. I used Shin Han wc and Paul Ruben metallic wc.. I added some Gouache snow.  Was a fast easy card to create. Took longer to dry vs. painting..

This is my card using the image Spring Duck 2.  I colored the image with copics and used Your next stamp banner die. I used the Spellbinder die and a scrap for the top section. I added some Martha Stewart fern punch and Stampin up flowers with Nuvo drops in the center.  The Reverse Confetti sentiment was stamped with SU ink.

 Challenges:

As you like it - favorite stitching (I like when the die has the stitching. I don't do the sewing/or hand doodle stitch. The die makes it so much easier)

Our theme this weeks is

MOTHERS DAY

For my card I used Pretty Pink Posh image and stamped the three images on the water color paper. I used Mission Gold water color and added Kuretake Gansi gold to the flower centers.  I set it aside to day. I used Tech. Tues. Love you and backer and die cut out. I used Your Next Stamp letters and die cute the mom and added to a white strip then rounded the corner. I added these to the card to complete. It's hard to create Mother's day cards my mom passed 13 and a half years ago. Hubby's mom has been gone a lot longer..

We have a new challenge over at

Always Fun Challenge #204

Our theme this week is 

SHAPE CARD

I used Your next stamp banner dies and cut a front and back piece. I made a short fold on the straight edge of the back piece and adhered the blue piece on top so when you open the card the back part folds back.  I took a scrap and next size smaller banner die and cut this out and adhered to the blue. I stamped the Newton Nooks sentiments with Stampin up ink. I stamped the dog and cupcake and colored with copics and using the die cut this out. I used the other side of the yellow banner piece and Tech. Tues. small banner and cut this out for him to stand on. I added the dog with foam dots. I went over the cupcake with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I stamped this little bouquet of flowers on the inside and colored with copics.

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Snowman Bell.. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I found this page of designer paper I tore out of an old old magazine. I finished with the "snow happy" Your next stamp and "Merry Christmas" Paper Pretties. using Stampin up ink. I used SU and TT. dies. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops to the centers.

Hello.. I have a card to share for a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Galz #135

Our theme for these two weeks is 

CUTE CHRISTMAS

This is my card.. I really wanted to keep it simple and I am pleased with how this came out. I stamped the Your next stamp deer and using Prisma colored pencils colored it in.. (I ended up having to do twice as I put it back in the misty to re-stamp after it was colored and obviously didn't have it in the corner as I had a ghost stamping. least it was a small image to color and I learned a lesson.. make sure you tuck that image in the corner)  I then used Simon says dies and cut a frame out of Teresa Collins scrap. I used SS snowflake and Stampin up ink and added a few to the background. I stamped the SS sentiment and banner and fussy cut out. I used again SU ink. I added some Nuvo clear drops to the eyes, jingle bells and snowflake centers. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to his red nose.

this is Day 5 

 so below is my card

This is another fun card I made and had a good laugh. When I was digging through my stamps I saw this Your next stamp horse. So I stamped it and My favorite things Hay stack and Tech. Tues. coffee cup. I painted the hay stack and horse with Prima water colors. I colored the coffee cup with copics. I created the cloud and ground with Ranger ink and my homemade templates. I stamped the TT and MFT sentiments with Stampin up ink.

We're back with a new challenge at

Sunny Day Crafting and our theme is

ANIMALS... ANY ANIMAL

 

 

Todays card I used a small hedgehog and stump from Sugar Peas.. The larger porcupine/hedgehog is from Your next stamp. I first started by using a balloon stencil that I created by die cutting a bunch of balloon dies on x-ray film. I used Simon Says inks to create the colors. I added strings to some of the balloons. I think next time I will add the strings as I go along so that they are not so out in your face. When I was done I had a big ink smudges on the lower white area (I'm left handed so I hold the stencil down with my right hand and the ink transferred from the stencil).. I tried to erase them but they just wouldn't go so I used Reverse Confetti die and cut the bottom off. I am really glad that happened cause I like the look it gives.. I colored the images with copics and added some grass to ground the image. I stamped the Happy birthday which is by Concord and 9th.

Welcome back to another fun day at Catch the bug for our Christmas in July

this is DAY 2

Our theme is the below sketch

 

This is my card using the image SNOWMAN  2  I used some scraps I had. I thought the chenille pattern paper went well for the winter look. The striped paper I do not know this is by but I sure love it. I used Spellbinder to cut these two strips out. I then used Your next stamp banner die for the green. The sentiments are from Sugar pea. I colored the image with copics and added some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen then used Simon Says stitched round die to cut the image out.

You quack me up - Sunny Day Crafting #17

We're back with another challenge for you at

 Sunny Day Crafting #17 and the theme is

DUCK

 

 

As soon as I saw this theme was duck I knew I would use this fun image from Your Next Stamp. I stamped the image on water color paper and painted with my Mission paints then fussy cut the image out. I then stamped with Versa Mark the Stampin up dots all over the background. I took a small strip of Stamping UP paper and adhered to the bottom and then added the cut duck. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of scrap paper and used the My Favorite Things speech die. I really kept this card CAS.
