I know you can used tea/chocolate and those kind of beverages.. But I am a coffee lover.. so mine are coffee.
Yesterday as I was standing on my deck drinking my coffee and feeling fall in the air and leaves are falling already... boy how the days change fast from 70/80's to 50/60s in a week. I do love seeing the fall leaves and the awesome colors but I like the warmer weather.
Any how I thought I would try to make my card so it looked like the Art Impressions image (it's an old wood block red rubber stamp) was standing on a deck with leaves on the deck. OK I am not an artist.. as you can tell by the deck I drew. My hubby said I should of made the deck at an angle. I did not think of it.. my focus was trying to see how I was standing on the deck.. I did do the boards farther away smaller than the front ones and the same with the leaves.. well the card is all done now I was not going to go recreate my card.. I painted the scene with Mission paints and stamped the tree?? off the deck. hence the leaves on the deck. The leaves are Simon Says stitched die set. I stamped the Art Impressions sentiment on the deck. I love this cute funny lady and sentiment. I think this was me yesterday morning. I even have animal slippers but they are dogs.. funny. you know now that I look at this I should of added hills/greenish grass so it doesn't look like she's standing on wood in space..
