I am using the fun image called 77 Stork and Elephant... aren't they cute???  I used My favorite things stitch die and cut the image out. I colored the images with copics. I added my cloud template. I then used Tech. Tuesday sentiment and Simon says speech bubble and die cut this out. I added this to Stampin Up designer paper and added some Close to my heart bling.  I thought this cute elephant was so lucky to have a friend like the stork. Can you see the cute little mouse??

Hello and welcome back to Inspiration Destination #152 for another challenge and the theme is ANYTHING GOES WITH REAL STAMP  dig through those drawers - boxes - shelves and use a real stamp..

 

I dug around and found this butterfly stamp.. its so old there isn't even a name on it anymore.. I colored the image with re-inkers from Ranger and Stampin up.. I went over the butterfly with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  I added this to a piece of Stampin up dp. that has butterflies on it. I added a few drops of Nuvo.

Hello and hope you're doing great and having some fun crafting time. Today we are back with another two week challenge at

 Inspiration Destination #151  - our theme is ANYTHING GOES

 

I chose a Hero arts red rubber wood block stamp and stamped on water color paper. I purchased on Amazon a little tin that has 40 little cubes.. I filled them with re-inkers from Ranger and Stampin up. I let it sit out for a few weeks to kinda thicken them up. Well I used them to color this image. I like the look and will use this more and more. I then mounted it on a piece of Stampin up designer paper and using Stazon I stamped the Verses rubber stamp sentiment and used a piece of SU dp to cover the adhesive. I added a few Nuvo drops.

Welcome back to a fun challenge at Inspiration Destination #150... This challenge is a SKETCH.. so ANYTHING GOES.. Opt. twist SKETCH 

 

This is the sketch.. You can turn it and make it an A2 size if you wish

 

This is my card using the above sketch.. I don't do large cards so I made it fit an A2 type card. I used a bunch of scraps. I found this one striped piece and then pulled colors from that to complete the layout. I then chose some My favorite things images and colored them with copics. I used Tech. Tuesday banner die for the sentiment.. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen and added a white gel pen to the balloons and cupcake icing..

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

 

I decided to make a get well card. I can always use them so now I am making one. I started with Stampin up gray card stock and embossing folder. I used a dark C5 copic to add the mortar between the bricks. I then used a My favorite things postage die and Art Impressions stamp and colored with copics. I stamped the sentiment and die cut the stitch circle which is by Stampin up.  This is such a fun card and know who ever gets it will make them feel better.

Our theme these two weeks is 

 ANYTHING GOES + USE REAL STAMPS

 

 

So my card.. it made me cry.. Have you ever had a best friend who has passed away? Well my best friend who I had known for over 35 years passed away 10 yrs. ago and she's been so strongly on my mind.. She was also a crafter and it was so much fun seeing her free style of paper crafting.. So when I stamped the dogs I am the one behind and she is the one leaving the scene.. that's why one part of her is white.. I tried to keep the scene simple. I used my cloud template and ground template with Ranger inks to create the background. I then used copics and colored the kraft card stock. The postage piece was given to me by Monika at Creative with Monika.. I think it's by My favorite things. The stamp set is from Simon says.

This is my card using the sweet image called Girl and bear.. Her image are so darling.. or should I say Kinda cute..
I colored the image with copics. I then die cut using a Lil inker stitch die. I ran the blue background through my machine using a dot embossing folder. I then took some black and white dot ribbon and added this to the background. I finished with Mama Elephant sentiment stamped with Stampin up ink.

It's the end of February but the beginning of a new challenge at

 Inspiration Destination #145

and our theme is ANYTHING GOES

 

I was playing with my Mission and Kuetake paints and created the water color piece and then thought hay I will use my star die cuts from MFT create a sky theme card. I then took a black piece of card stock and splattered the white and gold Kuretake paint to create more stars. I then used the My Favorite Things star die and cut it out three times with a dark gray then die cut one more time with my shimmer silver looking card stock and stacked them. I added it to the card front then I heat embossed using Stampin up silver powder.  I hope you find time to play along.

for my card I used Simon Says stamps an stamped all over the background and then used bronze embossing powder and heated. I went over the paper with Ranger inks watered down. I went around the edge with Ranger ink just distressing it.. I used Stampin up heart and cut out the designer paper which also has bronze in it. I stamped SS sentiment and added it. I then stamped a row of hearts and added this.

Welcome to another challenge at Inspiration Destination #144 and our theme is Anything Goes

 

 

It's calendar page time again. Over the past years I have been with a group of ladies where we create calendar pages and we have 12 different pages from these various ladies to enjoy for the month..

Well times have changed so now I am with a group that is from my own state of WA. in fact my own county.. So I was lucky enough to be given Feb. as my page. So I needed to make 12 pages that are all the same and then all the other 11 ladies do the same with their month. These are given to my friend Karen and she uses my binding machine and makes up the 12 calendars for each of us.. 

Now I have a 2018 calendar with 12 awesome pages to enjoy each month.  These ladies are awesome on their creations. This is my page. I knew it was a "love" month and so I used a Stampin up large wheel and Versa Mark and ran it over 3 - 8.5 X 11 Kraft and clear embossed. I then cut the sheets into 4  - 4.25 X 5.5 pieces. I took Stampin up card stock and cut the red dot paper so it kinda looked like a table cloth. I turned the dp over and used the scraps for the calendar backing.  I then stamped 12 Simon Says coffee cups onto Stampin up designer paper and using red Stampin up ink I added the heart. I fussy cut out each coffee cup and using foam dots added this to the page.  I used brown copic and
Wink of Stella for the coffee. I stamped 12 Simon Says sentiments and used My Favorite Things banner die and went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink I also added foam dots to this piece.  I like the homey feeling this card gives and I get to enjoy my page for the whole month.. even if this is a short month...

Love - Inspiration Destination #142

Welcome to 2018. We're a couple weeks into the new year and I  hope it is still bringing all that is good into your life. The stamp I chose today on my card is so I can remember these positive thoughts and have it bring that into my life.. It's a very large background stamp so some of the words are cut off but there are still enough for you to see and understand why I love it. 

 

We have a new challenge at Inspiration Destination  #142

Wet or Dry Embossing

 

So break out those holiday craft items and put them to use. I am sure there's new embossing powder/stamps/folders somewhere in you hands reach.. LOL

I got this stamp a few months back but haven't used it yet so broke I it out cause I love when the background is all embossed words. I embossed with white powder. Since it's about what I love about you I added the "Love" die and layered it four times to make it sturdy. I added a couple flat sequins and it's done.. Really a quick and easy card to make. The products are Simon Says.  I really like the black and white look.. well the Love is a very light silver shimmer..

And I agree these images are KINDA CUTE.. this is Duck with presents   I colored the image with copics and used a Taylored Expressions postage die. I used an embossing folder for the background and then added some paper ribbon then added the image. I had a scrap of water color paper left on my desk so heat embossed the sentiment and I had a wooden heart so I went over it with Spectrum Noir glitter pen and then added glossy accents.  This image is so cute and thank you Patricia for letting us use your images.

It's time for another challenge at

Inspiration Destination #140.. 

Again it's ANYTHING GOES 

 

we will be on vacation for a couple weeks. can't wait to see you in 2018 at Inspiration Destination

 

 

Ok it's almost Christmas and I needed a break from Christmas cards.. I wanted to play again with my Ken Oliver Powder paints.. So this time I tried a different approach.. I added very little powder to the upper right corner and then spritzed with water (with out blowing it off- LOL) and held the paper so it ran.  and added a little more and more till I got this beautiful piece. I then took some Kuretake gold paint and watered it down and flicked it over the piece.. OH MY this is so pretty..

I took my Simon Says flowers and white embossed them then used my Zig markers and water colored them. I die cut them out and laid out the flowers/leaves. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and used My Favorite Things banner die.  This is so pretty. Sure hope it comes across ok on the computer.

Welcome to another challenge at Inspiration Destination #139 -

this challenge is

NOT A SQUARE CARD

 

I decided to take a tag and make a card out of it..
I took a scrap of card stock and cut around the card stock/tag  and scored about 1/2 inch down on card stock side and adhered just that 1/2 inch behind the tag so that you could lift the tag area and write your sentiment on the inside. 
You can see the photo below this one for a side view.

Before the back was added I took the tag and dot embossing folder and embossed it. I then took some scraps from the My Favorite Things die and stamped the sentiments on different colors and added them to the tag. I die cut the YOU from MFT and layered them 3 times and then added YOU to the tag. I stamped the flower from Birch Press and bud with Altnew inks and die cut them out. I took a leaf from Stampin Up set and added this under the bud. I added Spectrum Noir glitter pen all over the flower and bud.  I finished the front with some Nuvo drops.
