ATC + LOVE

This is my ATC - an Artist Trading Card which measures 2.5X3.5

I used to make these ATC's all the time. My dear friend who has since passed away started an ATC club. We would make them and exchange within our club so everyone got one that was the same. So we'd have a theme and if there were 8 members we made 8 of same ATC.. it was awesome creating such a small piece of art.

For this one I stamped the Great impressions hearts with Stampin up ink. I then went over a few of the hearts with Versa mark brush and the others then all of them with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used a little Quick quote chalk ink and distressed the edges. I backed onto the red designer paper then onto the 2.5x3.5 white card stock. I stamped the Mama Elephant image and using Mission gold watercolors. Then the die and added her with some foam dots.

We have a new challenge going on over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #294

Our theme is 

TAG YOU'RE IT.. 

either tag or a tag on your card

I used kraft card stock and a Great Impressions script stamp and Quick Quote ink and created the background. I used a scrap of QQ dp and made it into a tag. I stamped the Spellbinder image and sentiment on some scraps and using My favorite things circle dies added the image to another piece of scrap. I used some Stampin up bronze cording and added to the background. I used QQ ink and distressed the tag. I added a ring that was colored with ink and stamped a design and added to the top of the tag along with a scrap of the cording. I added the banner sentiment.  Oh I added just a touch of color to the flower with copics.

We have a new challenge over at

Make My Monday #167

Our theme for this challenge is

KISSING TECHNIQUE

The kissing technique is where you take a solid stamp of your choice and a detailed stamp.. Ink up the solid one and then using a different ink, ink up your other detailed stamp and stamp it on the solid one, then stamp on your paper. I used a solid Great Impressions rectangle and the leaves are Hero arts. I used Simon says inks. (you can use U-tube to find out more on the technique) I then used My favorite things die to cut out and add to the Quick Quote scrap. The sentiment is from Stampendous and I just tucked it under the image. I added a few metal blings.

Our theme is

MAKE IT SPARKLE - GLITTER- GEMS

The sparkle on my card is the background glitter paper. I added this to a white card base. I stamped the Great impressions stamp and using copics added a little color. I used My favorite things stitch die. The sentiment is from Simon Says. I added all with foam dots. I almost added some bling but figured it would be just a little too much.

the theme is FANCY FOLDS

This is my card using Little train..  I went with a baby card with this cute image.

I again used the Fancy Fold card I saw Jennifer McGuire do in 2018.

the card I showed on March 1st is the same fold as this. This is a better way to have the card displayed.  I colored the image with copics and went over different area with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I went around the edges with Ranger ink. I used My favorite things stitch die. I also used some Ranger ink right behind the image piece. The stripe papers are left over scraps. I like that it had a lot of the colors I used in the image. The inside has a Stampin up sentiment. I had a lot of blank area to the right so I used a Great impressions heart stamp and light SU ink. So someone could still write in that area.  I am liking this fun fold and will use again but in the landscape style like this one..

So did you have a great Valentines day?..

It's our anniversary.. We had a nice celebration.

We're back with a Mid month reminder for the February challenge at Creative with Stamps #23 the theme is HEART

 

 

Note: CWS challenges do not have many "Guidelines", but please read and follow the few we do have to be eligible to win.

 

This is my card. I started by using a Great Impressions wood block stamp and Stampin up ink and stamping the stamp all over the card. (the stamp is a group of intertwined hearts) well it didn't look too good when I was done because there was just too much white... So took out a redish Ranger ink and went over the card.. well the red wasn't red enough more coral looking so then I grabbed some purple Ranger ink and went over the card.. Now you can hardly see the Stampin up inked hearts so I went back over the card with black inked hearts.. I liked it better. I then die cut the My Favorite Things "Smile" in a pink that looks like the background color. I layered it two times and added it to the card front. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the letters. I couldn't find the dot for the i so I colored a half pearl with a copic and added it. I heat embossed the MFT sentiment and added it to the card. I like the monochromatic look..
