Our letter for this challenge is 

D - DRAGON / DINOSAURS

So for this card.. since I use just stamps I have (acrylic/red rubber) for these challenges that are not digi sponsored.. I ended up drawing and painting this card. I don't have any with dragons (maybe a tiny teeny dragon) but I wanted a larger one. So I drew this dinosaur and scene and painted with Mission Gold water colors. I used My pink stamper sentiment and Pretty Pink Posh happy birthday.  This was fun to create and paint.

Today it's Friday so that is Free Friday

at Catch the bug / Bugaboo

 

This is Dino in egg.  I colored the image with copics. I then used the Taylored Expressions postage die. I stamped the My Pink Stamper sentiment and Simon Says happy birthday which I used Stampin up die to cut out. For the background I used kraft and a SU stencil and Versa Mark to create the circles.  I kept this pretty simple.

Hello everyone... I am excited!!! I have joined another Design Team I am on Cardz 4 Guyz  I know I struggle with male cards.. So this will for sure get me out of that shell.  I can't wait to see how I will create and make male cards fun and exciting.  So join me in playing along with your fun creations...

Our theme for these 2 weeks is DRAGON / DINOSAURS 

So this is the only image I have by Mama Elephant. It's the Chinese new year images.. It has this cute little dragon image. So I colored him with copics. I used some scraps and My favorite things dies. I used some Ranger ink to give a little color behind the circles. the Dino-Mite is from The pink stamper and the happy birthday is from Paper Trey Ink. I topped him off with a crown punched from Marvy. I added another crown to the sentiment area.  So how did I do ?? LOL

I am using the image Toby in pot.  I colored the image with copics and used my cloud template / stencil and Ranger ink. I stamped the My pink stamper sentiment. I used Spellbinder square die.  I added to a layer of card stock and then this pretty designer paper. I added some twine and a button. The butterfly is my winged image for the challenge.

Card 1

I am using the image called Eleanor and Pickles dinosaur fun from Colours of Love.. 

I colored the image with copics  I added my cloud template with Ranger ink. I used Lil inker stitch die. I stamped the My Pink Stamper sentiments. bam.. done

 My second card is using the image called Your name is like honey  from Cute as a button. I colored the image with copics. I went over the wings and honey with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I stamped the Simon Says honey comb with Ranger ink. I added to a dark brown piece of card stock then to the yellow card stock.

Monster bash Day 4 birthday - Catch the bug

I have two cards to share with you today.

 

Welcome to Day 4 of our week long 9th Birthday party at

 Catch the bug

Our theme this year is Monster Bash

Each day we have a new theme..

Today is BINGO..

 

(plus we have a flash freebie which is the 3 headed monster today only from 7am to 7pm.. see my last card on this posting which shows the image)

 

 

This is the New Release called Monsters Topper.. I used the top row.. Die cut / Sentiment / Texture..

I started by coloring the image with copics. I went over parts with of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  I then used My favorite things stitch die. I ran the blue card stock through an embossing folder from Sizzix. I stamped the Hero arts and Paper Pretties sentiments and added some distressing inking using Quick Quote chalk inks then added them to the card. I then tied a bow in some yarn - more texture and added to the card.

A little about how I made my card..

Since the theme for today is.. BINGO!!  I used the image Monster 3 which is from the Bugaboo store and the  Bingo bottom row... Ribbon / Tag / Stripes..

I chose a scrap of Quick quote paper. I thought the stripes were nice and colorful. I then colored the image with copics using some of the colors from the paper. I used Tim Holtz tag die and stamped the My pink stamper sentiment. I love this colorful ribbon so tied a bow and added the tag. I used My favorite things sentiment it's your birthday. I added some gems to the eyes just for some fun. I added some Wink of Stella to different areas.. I love the colorful fun feel to the card.

This little guy is Dino 01...  Cute little guy. I colored the image with copics. I used My favorite things stitch die. I added this to DCWV designer paper with animals all over it. I then added the My Pink stamper Dino-mite! and Club scrap happy birthday. Perfect for that special birthday boy or girl.

Thank ewe - Bugaboo New Release

Today being Tuesday it's new release day at Bugaboo..

This image is St. Patrick ewe... You know.. I really don't make St. Patrick cards so I made this a fun thank ewe card. I used My favorite things stitch die and then colored the image with copics. I ran the blue through an embossing folder. I then had some scrap paper and stamped the My pink stamper sentiment and added this and felt it needed another piece of that rich orange so added another strip below and added twine. I finished with some sequins and added some Liquid pearl drops on top.
