The theme is 

Y - YOUR FAVORITE COLOR COMBO

My favorite color combo is Orange, Green, Purple.. So I took scraps and cut strip and added to a piece of scrap and cut down. I took my dry wall mesh piece and Ranger ink in green and gave some texture to the background (it's hard to see) I added the stripe piece.  I stamped the Stampin Up flower and colored with copic and fussy cut out. I went over the flower with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added the heat embossed Reverse Confetti sentiment and used Tech. Tues. banner die.

I am the Guest Designer over at

The Paper Funday #32 

for the month of August.

The theme is 

ANYTHING GOES / OPT. TWIST CUTE CRITTERS

For my cards I stamped the My Favorite Things images and painted with Mission Gold watercolors. I used the dies to cut out. I found this barn wood look scrap from Quick quotes  using the Simon Says three window die cut it twice. Once with the barn wood and one with just white. I used Ranger ink and created the background.  I took my dry wall mesh and more Ranger ink and created the stencil look. Then I added the barn wood on foam dots and added the image with foam dots. I had this little fence scrap so I added it and the heat embossed sentiment also from MFT.

I am using the image called Peonies.. I colored with copics. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I then used My favorite things die. I went around the edge with Ranger ink. I used my dry wall mesh as a stencil and Ranger ink to create some interest to the background. I then added the image. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and finished with some Stampin up jewels.

This is my card. I am using the image Gnome watering can.. I colored the image with copics.. I was confused on a couple of places to color.. Now that it's done I think I messed up..or did I?? hum.  I used Spellbinder die to cut it out. I used my dry wall mesh and Ranger ink for the background touch of color. I finished with the Jessica Lynn Original sentiment stamped with Ranger ink and Stampin up die.

Hello

Did you have a nice 4th of July.. for you in the USA.. ? quite different from late year.. 

We stayed home as usual. It was nice. Dog's did pretty good with the fireworks. I put lavender on their ears to help calm them. they were pretty cool. Living in the country it can get crazy.

I used Paper pretties image and stamped the chicken and egg on scraps and cut them out. I found this die cut circle in my stash so thought this would be perfect for the background. I also used the Paper Pretties sentiment.. Yes we all have had those days. especially this past year..  I used the Dry wall mesh and Ranger ink and added this behind the circle. I added the circle with foam dots.

Our theme this challenge is

CIRCLES AND PURPLES

This is my card. I started by using the Simon says circle die and I die cut different scraps of paper that had purplish colors. I used quite a few scraps just to get colors I thought worked. I took my Dry wall mesh and used as a stencil and Ranger ink to create the background then I adhered the white die cut circle and then filled in with the die cut pieces. I took one of the white dies from the frame part and stamped with Stampin up ink the Dot's sentiment.

Our theme this week is

LAYERS

For my card I took some of my Stampin up stamped with SU ink and dies foliage.. I used a scrap for the larger background die. I used my dry wall stencil and Ranger ink for the card background color. Now I found an old die cut from a Quick quote kit that was left over and added the foliage to the piece in layers. Then added this to the card base. I used a scrap and Tech. Tues. banner die and then stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment and added this to the banner.  I am loving this Stampin up stamp/die set.

Our theme is

MONOCHROMATIC

For my card I chose my monochromatic color to be GREEN... I stamped the Mostly Animals iguana with Stampin up ink. I masked him off and using My favorite things brick stencil and Ranger ink created the wall. I used my cloud template and more Ranger ink. I mounded on a piece of green card stock. I took my dry wall mesh and more Ranger ink and stenciled the background. I then added the mat iguana to the card base. I then heat embossed the Rubber baby buggy bumper sentiment which I used Stampin up punch to cut it out.

I am using the image AKV baseball trio Bugaboo 

This is AKV trio baseball.. I colored the image with copics. I used Stampin Up die to cut the image out. I first added some stenciling using my dry wall mesh and Ranger ink. Then added the image and heat embossed the Judith sentiment on a piece of Quick Quote scrap.

This is week 2 that I am the guest designer over at

Krafty Chicks Designer

Our theme this week is

CHRISTMAS

So last month I was a winner on Word Art Wed. challenge blog and got to chose some stamps from Stamp Simply.. So this is one of the images I got. I couldn't wait to use it and being a guest designer over at Kraft Chicks and the theme being Christmas it made it the perfect time to use this fun stamp set. I first created my soft background using my dry wall mesh as a stencil and Ranger ink. I then stamped the wreath in brown memento ink. I then stamped the flowers. I colored with copics. I went over the center with glossy accents. I used Stampin up ink and stamped the sentiment. I finished with some Nuvo drops in white around the wreath.  I added to a piece of red card stock.

this is Day 6 

 so below is my card

I dug through some scraps and using Spellbinder border die, Stamp simply coffee cup, Stampin up punch and leaf dies created my scene. I used my drywall mesh and Ranger ink to create the stenciled background. I added the elements to the card and added some gems to the center of the flowers and stamped with SU ink the Stamp simply sentiment.

This is my card using the image called African Violets. I used to of the image just varied the size. I colored with copics. I then fussy cut the images out. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush over the flowers. I used a strip of dry wall mesh and Ranger ink to create the grounding. I then added the pots of flowers. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment in Stampin up ink. I then stamped the Mama Elephant sentiment with SU ink and fussy cut out.

 Sunny Day Crafting #20  ?

 I hope so cause we have a fun theme HORSES

 

I have so many stamps but boy I had to dig for a horse stamp.. I almost used a unicorn and just cut the horn off.. LOL.  I think it would of worked but looking at my shelves of wooden stamps I found this image. I have no idea who it's by cause that was when I just bought rubber and mounted them myself. 
I stamped the image with Stampin up ink. I then used the My favorite things stitch die and cut it out. I used my dry wall tape  as a stencil and added blue Ranger ink for the background texture. I found a sentiment from Tech. Tues. and more SU ink. I added the horse piece but it looked plain so I used Simon Says feather dies and some paint chip pieces and a scrap of paper and tied with twine and added this to the bottom.  This is pretty much and easy peasy card to make.

Friday at Bugaboo is Free Friday..

This image is called Cute Troll..  Now how remembers having one or many of these cute toys in their house???.. My daughter in the 70's collected them.. She had quite a few and all were different. So I thought back to hers and colored my image with copics..  I then cut her out using a Spellbinder die. For the background  I took a piece of dry wall mesh and Ranger ink and added this to the background. I added the image and then used a Stampin up sentiment. 

 

this is a photo of what the dry wall mesh looks like. It comes on a spool like tape. the back of it is a little tacky which is awesome when you're using it as a stencil. I just cut about a 6 inch strip and placed it on top of the spool so you can see behind it.. I love that this is a pretty cheap stencil option.
