I colored the "life gives you lemons" image with copics. I used My favorite things stitch die. I backed with some black card stock. I stamped the Concord and 9th. sentiment. I found this Honey Bee designer paper that  I thought went perfect with the image. I finished with some Diamond drills left over from some diamond paintings I am doing and some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush over the cut lemon.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #279

Our theme this challenge is

BLUE - YELLOW - GRAY

I don't know that I've ever done a card with these colors.. So this was fun to figure what to do and do different. I saw this old red rubber lemon stamp from Rubber Stampede so then I dug through my designer papers (without names) and found this awesome paper. So I used Ranger inks and colored the stamp and then using a blending tool went around the edges after I fussy cut it out.  I found this nice blue card stock scrap so I heat embossed the Concord and 9th sentiment. I used Tech. Tues. banner die. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops in the center. I like the colors.

For my card I used the cute image from Bugaboo and using Marianne tag die cut the shape out. I moved it up so it would be longer than the die actually is.  I colored the image with copics and added the ribbon. I added to some Quick Quote scraps. I added the Concord and 9th sentiment.

This is my card using the image called Lemonade Sunday. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used the Simon Says wonky die then added to a piece of Amy Tangerine designer paper. I found this fun sentiment from Concord and 9th . I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I am so ready for spring. Being able to sit on the deck and listen to the birds and read, paint, relax and breath the spring air.

This is the reminder regarding the challenge going on over at

We are a month long challenge which starts the 1st of each month so mid month is reminder time.

 The theme is FRUIT

For my card I used Concord and 9th images. I stamped and heat embossed the oranges and limes.. yes they look like lemons but believe me in real life they are for sure oranges vs. yellow lemons. I may need to try to tweek the colors to show better and repost..  I painted with Mission Gold watercolors. I added the sentiment also in the set. I heat embossed and added with some foam dots. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops in the center.

Hello.. I have a card to share for the new challenge going on over at Colour Crazy Challenge #34

I am using the image called Kawaii Valentine giraffe.. I thought this would make a great baby card so I colored the image with copics. I then used Stampin up ink and Simon says image and stamped the background. I used My favorite things stitch die and I mounted this on a piece of yellow Quick quote card stock and then mounted this on Sizzix designer paper. I added the twine and stamped the Concord and 9th and Sugar pea sentiment. I used Stampin up heart die and then added a bow. I know it's kinda dark but thought more boy vs. girl but also why I used bright green and yellows..

We're back with a new challenge at

Sunny Day Crafting and our theme is

ANIMALS... ANY ANIMAL

 

 

Todays card I used a small hedgehog and stump from Sugar Peas.. The larger porcupine/hedgehog is from Your next stamp. I first started by using a balloon stencil that I created by die cutting a bunch of balloon dies on x-ray film. I used Simon Says inks to create the colors. I added strings to some of the balloons. I think next time I will add the strings as I go along so that they are not so out in your face. When I was done I had a big ink smudges on the lower white area (I'm left handed so I hold the stencil down with my right hand and the ink transferred from the stencil).. I tried to erase them but they just wouldn't go so I used Reverse Confetti die and cut the bottom off. I am really glad that happened cause I like the look it gives.. I colored the images with copics and added some grass to ground the image. I stamped the Happy birthday which is by Concord and 9th.

Hello Summer - Bugaboo New Release

Bugaboo has a new release for you.. Check out the design teams creations over at Catch the bug.

 

 

Digging through my 12x12 paper pads I found some awesome papers. I took them and cut them 6x6 and thought this one would work perfect for what I was planning to do with this fun New Release image called Beach Flamingo.. The others are just sitting on my table for future uses.. maybe.. I colored the image with copics and then fussy cut the image out. I took a white piece left over from my cutting and colored it with copics to look like sand then using my sand stamp and Ranger ink I stamped it across the piece. I add this to the card base and added the flamingo. I then used Concord and 9th Hello and Simon Says Summer and Stampin up ink.  I am loving this awesome dp background. It screams summer to me.. Perfect for the Beach flamingo.

My guest designer card for Colour Crazy challenge.
I am using the image called Spring Fairy.. I colored her with copics and then I fussy cut her out and added some glitter to her dress, wings and basket.  I added her to some fun designer paper. The other side of the paper is the strip I put under her and I used Simon says scallop die.  I added the Concord and 9th sentiment.

We have another challenge at

Sunny Day Crafting #23 and our

theme this week is TIGERS

 

 

I was looking for a tiger stamp cause I don't remember having one. I then remembered the Lunar set from Mama Elephant and it having small baby animals and one of those being a tiger. woohoo.

I then found this fun designer paper and I used Simon says stitched circle die and cut three circles. I used Concord and 9th and stamped the sentiment above. I used Paper trey ink for the congratulations. I used a piece of brown behind the images and embossed with dot folder. I colored the images with copics. I thought it made a cute baby card.

It's time for another challenge at Paper Play Sketches

and we have a color challenge for you this week.

 

 

This is the awesome color challenge.. Great colors (I think)

 

I have this stamp set from Concord and 9th and been waiting to use it.. Summer got away from me on using it so thought ok we still eat fruit in the fall.. So this is my card.  I used water color paper and Ranger inks, color burst ink and created the background. I dried it and spritzed water on it to get this splatter effect. Ok that was the red color.. I then used the  larger stamps to create the orange, the smaller stamp to create the lemon and line.  I had some scraps of black and white stripes and so added that so there was some contrast. I then die cut the sentiment also from the stamp set three times and added it along with some sequins.  I love the bold colors.  I hope you can play along and if you need inspiration check out the design teams creations.

Oh MY I AM IN LOVE with this technique. if you saw my Tuesday posting you know that I watched a video

Jennifer McGuire did where she took a stamping block and squished inks on it and then spritzed with water and laid the inked block on water color paper..

Well this is another one I did..

The only issue is trying to find a sentiment and not cover the beautiful inked area. I just stamped the Concord and 9th sentiment and added a few Nuvo drops.  I layered it on black and then on a white card base. CAS..
