I seldom make patriotic cards so I thought I would keep it simple. I took some red/white/blue designer paper scraps and cut different widths. I adhered them to an A2 size scrap. I stamped the Verve sentiment and heat embossed then added to a red square.. The dies are Spellbinders. I added some Nuvo drops.

Today it's Day 7 over at 

Coffee Lovers Fall / Winter blog hop

I dug through my die cut - image painted containers.. I only had to stamp the sentiment... which is good cause this wreath took forever to create.  I had a die cut circle and I dumped out these awesome Martha Stewart punched leaves and just started added them to the ring till I got the fullness I wanted. I had this Verve cup that is painted with Mission gold water colors. I added this to the wreath. I had this Paper Trey Ink background die so added it to the rust card stock. I added the wreath and found this cute Gerda Steiner squirrel also painted with Mission gold water colors. I stamped the Sugar Pea Designs sentiment and using Stampin up punch and fussy cut around the Coffee. I used Quick quote chalk ink to distress the edges and added to the card.

Hello.. Today we have a new challenge over at 

Always Fun Challenge

The theme is PATRIOTIC

For my card I took some scraps that are red / white / blue and adhered them down on a scrap paper. I then took a My favorite things star die and cut it out. I set it aside. I used the background stamps from Simon Says and stamped the background and heat embossed in gold. It kinda looks like fireworks. I used Ranger ink and darkened up the background. I used Perfect pearls and splattered it. I set it aside to dry. I took a Verve sentiment and stamped and heat embossed. I used a My favorite things banner die and added to the star with some foam dots. I then took the star and foam dotted the back and added to the base.

Hello.. I have a card to share using a new image that is in the Bugaboo Store.

Called Army Salute

Check out the design teams creations using this fun image over at Catch the bug.

I colored the image with copics. I used Lil inker stitch die and mounted him on some brown card stock and then onto this Cosmo Cricket designer paper. I stamped the Verve stamps sentiment and using Stampin up die cut it out and with Ranger ink went around the edges. I added a few enamel hearts and a star.

This is my card using the image called Holly Easter bunny.. I colored her with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used DCWV designer paper and added the Verve sentiment stamped in Stampin up ink and using SU tag die. I added a twine bow.  I think this card look like spring with the colors and darling image.

Hello.. I have a card to share for Day 2 of the Coffee Lovers blog hop

For this card I found this old paper and loved the print. I then dug through some images that I have stamped / painted / cut out/ and stored away.. So I dug through my image and thought perfect. I used the large Tech. Tues. squirrel and the small Gerda Steiner image. I turned over leftover piece from the dp and used Lawn Fawn grass die. I then used some Ranger ink to make the grass darker. I then went for my sentiments.. OK.. loved the Sugar Peas ...because adulting is hard and I thought the little squirrel looked like it was crying, throwing a fit, whining.. and so dug through my Dylusions sentiments and used part of one .. don't give me attitude.. that is what the mom squirrel is tell the baby and then the larger sentiment is her thought.. I added a Verve coffee cup also painted with Mission gold watercolors as the two critters and the My favorite things to go coffee cup. I used Simon says speech bubble for the sentiment.

Hello. I have a card to share for the challenge over at

 Always Fun Challenge #117

The theme is PATRIOTIC

 

 So I really don't do patriotic cards only for the reason is I don't send out patriotic cards.. So I kinda went a different route. I started with some scraps and added the red / white / blue for the USA flag. then I found a Verve sentiment that said "Thanks for protecting our freedom"..  and so with that I showed kids on a swing, playing in the yard and a cute dog and bird.. The cute kids are Mama Elephant images. the rest of the images are from Lawn Fawn.. I used my Sky and ground template and Ranger ink and created the background. I made some grass flicks with copic pen. I then painted all the images with Altenew and Prima water color paints.  For the sentiment I used my cloud template and Stampin up tag die. Then added this to the card with copic colored twine and made into a bow.

It's time for a new release over at Bugaboo store..

There are two different images..

One for use USA and then for Canada..

Same image just different flag..

I chose to use the USA image. I colored the image with copics and used my cloud template stencil. I added some dandelions to the grass.. cause I am sure most places that is what grass looks like. I know we sure have a lot. I stamped Verve sentiment with Stampin up ink and added this image to the red card stock and added some black and white stripe Washi tape down the side and a piece of red and white thin washi over the top.  I added some Wink of Stella to the stars.

This is my card using the image Amore Girl.. She is so cute and reminds me of two of my grand daughters.  I colored her with copics and then went over the gray hearts and her dress top with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I cut the image out using Simon Says wonky die. I stamped the Verve sentiment. I found this scrap of ribbon and tied it to the bottom of the card. I mounted this on a piece of Stampin up dark gray card stock.

I found this scrap of  paper in my scrap container..  Perfect. It's different greens, blues and a small strip if burgundy. So burgundy is my one other color.. this image is called hole in one by Dr. Digi's.
I colored him with copics. I added some grass and using my cloud template and Ranger ink created the sky. I stamped the Verve sentiment and added a little white gel pen to the image. I used My favorite things stitch die and added him to the dp. 
 What a fun image to play bring to life.

This is the new release called Hot Cocoa Bear.. Yum I love hot chocolate with lot's marshmallows.. LOTS. I melted in the hot chocolate then eat them and add more and do the same till both are gone. For this cute guy I colored him with copics. I used Simon Says wonky die. I added some layers and Pink fresh dots and heart. The sentiment on the cup is from Verve. I added some Wink of Stella.

This is the fun image. Perfect for fall. I guess it could be spring also depending how you color the leaves and bird.  I started with Stampin up designer paper. I colored the image with copics and using My favorite things cut the image out. I stamped the sentiment from Verve stamps. Using MFTs die cut this out. I found a scrap of paper on the table so added this to the base and some SU leaves from scraps.

I looked through my stamps for an animal that could hold a flag and found this cute monkey and bananas from My favorite things..I used a Paper trey ink doily die. I stamped and embossed the Tim Holtz crazy bird  flag accessory and colored them with Mission paints and Ranger re-inker. I punched a hole and strung twine and added it to the end of the Verve sentiment.

I thought I would put a frame around her and have wood grain siding for the house look. I used a Simon Says die. I colored the image with copics and went over the flowers/butterfly and ladybug with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I added some Quick quote dots. The sentiment is from Verve stamps.

I like that there were three ladies and so I did red, white and blue bathing suits.  I added glossy accents on the glasses, and wine and lemonade. I added Nuvo drops to the flower centers and used my cloud template. I added Verve sentiment and heat embossed.

I thought this cute little squirrel from Gerda Steiner was perfect for the scene I wanted to create. I colored him  with Mission paints. I cut the grass with Lawn Fawn die, I die cut the fire from My favorite things and colored with Mission paints. The house is from Taylored Expressions and colored with copics. The flowers from Tech. Tues and also colored with copics. I used my cloud template. The sentiment is from Verve and stamped with Stampin up ink. The flag is Tim Holtz and from the crazy bird accessories. I embossed in white and colored with Ranger re-inkers.  Boy I used quite a few products.. It was fun creating this scene.

I stared by using my new stencil from My favorite things and Oxide ink in two yellow colors and created he background. I then colored the image with copics and fussy cut her out. I added a piece of Washi tape for her to stand on and then stamped the Verve sentiment. I added some stickles to the star areas.
