Welcome back. I hope I inspire you to create something for our challenge or for any fun card making times

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #354 

Theme: Sunrise or Sunset

I created this card using My favorite things stencil of the sun. I used Ranger ink. I also created the water with a Newtons nook stencil.. I am not too happy with the water but I thought if I messed with it I would ruin it more so left it be. I stamped the Stampscapes tree and ducks. The sentiment if from My favorite things. I tore a piece of scrap and colored with Ranger ink to make a ground area that the tree was coming out of.  I kinda visioned being on a hill looking down at the water and sun off in the distance..

I'm using Telescoping Terry.. I used my ground and sky templates and Ranger ink. I heat embossed the dog bones from My Favorite Things, I stamped the Stampscape birds.. I colored the images with copics. I added the tall grass from Stampin up with SU ink. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and used the Spellbinder die.  The dog is dreaming about bones as Terry is looking for birds which are behind him... It made me smile..

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Up Up Up Away.. I colored her with copics, I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. The Stamp scapes trees below are stamped with Stampin up ink. I went over the balloons and flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush and Nuvo drops. I stamped the My favorite things sentiment and Paper Pretty happy birthday. I went around the edge of the card base with Ranger ink ..

Today over at Colour Crazy challenge #40 we are having a new challenge..

The theme is ANYTHING GOES.. just ask that you color your card.. no pre-colored images..

This rooster is Rudy rooster.. I wanted to create a country feel to the card.. I live in the country and love seeing cows in the field across from our yard.. We hear the roosters that neighbors have and I just love the smell and quiet country life. The rooster was printed. I stamped My favorite things little chicks. I then used my copics and created the ground areas. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. The cows are from Stampscape. The sentiment is MFT and Stampin up ink. I colored the little chicks and Rudy with copics. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to his head area.

 Day 5 of our Catch the bug birthday bash..  

UNDER THE SEA is our theme

Wednesday is Humor Wednesday so the challenge is to make a card with a funny sentiment

 

 

 

I am using the Bugaboo image called Beach monkey inner tube  I took some water color paper and my Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints and did the water. I then used my cloud template to give a little blue to the sky.. I chose some fun fish from Hampton stamps, Rubber baby buggy bumper.  The ducks are from Stampscapes.  I had to add the shark  LOL.. The sentiment is Dylusions and Hero Arts happy birthday.. It should say don't feed the sharks.. LOL  The monkey is floating in the sea and the bottom half of his body has a blue tinge to it to show he's in the water. I hope the computer picks up the colors. I colored the fish with some copics.. To me it's a funny sentiment funny card.. I hope you play along.. I have loved seeing the cards already entered in our other challenges this Birthday Bash week.

 Creative with Stamps  #1  MIDWAY REMINDER..

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE.. DIG OUT THOSE STAMPS/ DIGI'S.. AND CREATE YOUR CARD.. Have fun

Since we are a month long blog challenge.. It's time for a mid month reminder.. So since the theme is still butterflies. duh.... I dug out more butterfly stamps. I love butterflies and have quite a few.. I did another watercolor background for this card.. I must admit the other side of the watercolor paper was my first choice and since I don't like to waste watercolor paper and I never wanted anyone to ever  ever see what I first did.. LOL.it's now taped down to the coral card stock.. it will never be seen. I am obviously loving this one better.

I used recollection base, watercolor paper, kuretake gansi paint, black embossing powder for butterflies and sentiment, stampscape large butterfly, stampin up butterfly and sentiment
