I hope you all had a nice safe quiet New Year.. We just stayed home as we usually do and watch tv and added some Lavender essential oil on the dogs to calm them from the fireworks that we get here in the country. I hope that 2021 is a healthier safer happier year.
With the new year it means new birthdays.. Well my brothers is the 8th and my grandsons is the 13th so I created the two cards below.
The first one is for my brother Mark and second one for my grandson Josh. I used Prima confession pan paints and created the backgrounds. I splattered some Kuretake Gold watercolors to both then I let it dry for a few days. I then used Simon Says allover stamp and heat embossed one in gold and other in black. I used some Navy blue card stock and die cut the Taylored Expressions flowers 4 times. layered them twice and added to the card. I used the same navy for the sentiment and heat embossed the Simon Says sentiments. I really like how they came out.. I always cringe when it comes to male cards and especially when they are adult guys.

Just love the backgrounds with the triangles and pan paints. I don't know if you saw in Rome where all those birds died because of the fireworks....that is just gross.
A pretty and colourful floral creation for our new Allsorts theme this week, many thanks for joining in.

Hi Billie! These are amazing and I'm sure your brother and grandson loved them. I share the same day with your brother, which is the 8th. I love it when I come across someone with the same day as mine. Male cards are hard, I agree, but these are perfect. Oh, and I spent New Year's Eve with my dog in the closet. Unfortunately, the fireworks went on for a week in my hood which I was not happy about and of course neither was he.
