SUMMER FUN

For my card I water colored the background. I used Altenew watercolors. I added the white foam with bleed proof white. I painted the PSX shell with Prima pan paints, the My favorite things crab/star fish with Mission gold and the Sugar Pea fire and marshmallow with Mission gold wc..  I stamped the Simon Says sentiment with Stampin up ink.  My favorite place is the beach.

I used the image and sentiment from Your next stamp. I colored with Color it pencils. I added the sentiment with Stampin up ink. I finished with some Nuvo drops. I backed with red card stock.  This was a fun card to create. It was fun to color with pencils again.

Cardz 4 Guyz #272

Our theme this challenge is

FATHERS DAY

For my card I dug through my scraps and found for the papers I thought would work for the card in mind.. So then I looked through my dies and found the globe stand.. hum ok getting an idea. I looked through my paper pads and DCWV had a world map so I cut the circle and adhered to the die for globe stand. I used Sugar Pea dies for the Greatest and Dad.. The Worlds is from Tech. Tues. I added all to the card front. The world letters I went over with a C2 copic so they stood out from the die banner. Once it was all together the globe stand was too dark so I took Simon says white embossing ink and a small q-tip and added the ink to the stand.. kinda a white wash stand. Looked a lot better.   My dad has been gone many years and I know in my heart he was with me while I made this card.

I made a card but used two different species so had to quickly re create my card... I decided to use fish.. So I stamped the Embossed Arts Co big fish and Hampton Stamps small fish on watercolor paper. I used Altenew watercolors. I finished with some Paul Ruben metallic paint to give a sun light rays in the water look.  I added some Nuvo drops for bubbles and the Tech. Tues. Sentiment.

Crafty Sentiments we have a new challenge.

Our theme this week is

ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Isobel my summer hat. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the bows and Nuvo drops to the flower centers.  I added this to a piece of green card stock and then onto the A2 base I stamped the Tech. Tuesday sentiment on a piece of scrap.  I decided to create some sunny clouds vs. blue /white clouds. I like the look.

Our theme this week is

FOOD

For my card I used the Sizzix images and using Mission Gold water colors painted them and used the dies to cut the images out. I found this DCWV Far East designer paper. I used Simon Says 3 square die and then added the images on foam dots. I took two of the squares from the center and added brads and a coin. I also added this with foam dots.
