This was a fun card to create. I love the doily behind the image and the gray / black designer paper. Living in the country it's awesome to go outside and hear chickens and roosters.. the roosters are always making their rooster sound.  The products for this are from Stampin up. I did very little coloring and probably should of made his comb red but just didn't.

Theme: Pink card with a pink ribbon - for breast cancer month

For my card I used a Stampin up card base. I found this background sentiment over all stamp from Simon says and using Stampin up ink stamped it. I dug through my scraps and found some watercolor papers that I used for my July calendar page and used it for the hearts that the dies are from Stampin up. I didn't have any pink ribbon so I used twine and ran it through the SU ink I used for the background piece. I added to the card and some diamond painting crystal drills left over from a project.

Hello everyone

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme:  K - for Kitten (s)

I have a few of these cute stamps and thought it's the perfect time to use it. 

I stamped the kitten and colored with copics. I used 
Spellbinder die to cut it out. 

I cut a brown piece to add behind it and used my corner rounder on it and added a little Ranger ink around it. I found this designer paper and have no idea who it's by but I thought it worked with the image. I stamped the sentiment and it's pretty much smeared off the wooden block so sorry no idea who it's by. I used a My favorite things die cut it out and used some Ranger ink to soften the white.

Hello

It's time for another challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #285

Theme:  Fantasy - fairies, dragons, witches, wizards   

I won a few Lavinia stamps from Allsorts challenge awhile back and now finally using them.  First I used Ranger inks and created the background colors. I then used the fairy and the tree branch look that's on the right side of the card and stamped them. I used Posh impressions and added some leaves coming down from the top and a stamp to add grass to the bottom.  I added the sentiment from Simon says.  I finished with a white gel pen which I kinds wished I didn't after it was already too late. Oh I also added some Paul Reuban metallic splashes to the background. I like it but I learned some things I would do different.  I like what I did do though.

We're back from our break.. I know being on a lot of other design teams I was still busy.. 

But I did get in a lot of diamond painting. I love working on diamond paintings and seeing the image come to life ...

This card was made with Stampin up products. I need so many birthday cards so that is what I went for with this card. I think I should of used my Misty with the stamps to get a stronger inking but little late now.  

The red stripe is on the inside and the cupcake and confetti open to reveal the stripe and sentiment.

We just pretty much stayed home.

Theme: J for just kidding.. make it funny

I used a stamp from Katzelkraft.. This dog is so cute.. I colored with copics and cut it down and added it twisted to the background. I don't remember company name and it was by it's self in my stash of papers.

 added the Sugar pea sentiment to a scrap and using Stampin up circle die and added to the card. I finished with some left over diamond painting drills. Hope this card made you chuckle.

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #284

Theme: Interactive - any kind

I knew what I wanted to make but didn't know how so I just created. It works but not as pleased as I would like to be....

I cut a strip out of the card front. I then stamped the Simon Says trees and snowflakes with Stampin up ink. I added some ink to the ground for snow. I had a stamp I think for Rubber baby buggy bumpers that was hills so stamped that in the snow so look like mounds. 

I cut the bear out of white dp and the bear is an Amazon die. He's so cute. I stamped the Merry Christmas on a scrap strip and added it for the pull piece. I added the bear to this piece. I used a Marvy punch to cut the half circle for the pull area. I added this to a card base.  It works.. lol

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: How sweet it is

I had to borrow a Pumpkin monthly kit from my Stampin up friend. I did not have anything in my large stash of stamps that fit this theme. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this theme. 

It had this cute ginger bread house and arch was another piece in the kit that fit over the door and I used my arch die to cut it off the other piece. I stamped the sentiment that was in the kit. I added twine and used a piece of glitter paper and a Marvy punch to add the snowflake to the twine bow. I used a Stampin up embossing folder for the background. I added the ginger bread house and added the candy swirls to the card. I added this to a piece of dark green card stock.

Oh I love Kraft and this was a simple fun card to create.  Stamped the background green with little flowers.. added the red piece and the ribbon is just tucked into the side and added a button for the interest.. The cute little little flowers with a simple sentiment.. I love the simple look and colors.

This was a fun card to create. I found the background daisy designer paper and then I stamped and die cut the flower.. I added the sentiment and to help bring out the yellow center of the flower I added it to the yellow base.  Yellow/ White/ Blue

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: I - for insects

I was over at my friends house just visiting and we decided to create cards.. I saw a template she had on her desk that had circles cut out of it. So grabbed the Ranger inks and three colors and just did circles where I thought they should be. 

Once happy with that I used her large Butterfly stamp and stamped it. I added the Simon says sentiment and a few diamond drills. I love how this came out. Was so simple but effective.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Kraft and Blue

This was a fun card to create. Again I chose to use paper colors vs. copic coloring.  The products are Stampin up. The happy birthday ??? no idea but I like it.  I chose some different blues to work with and die cut the images and laid out different ways and came to liking this layout best. I added the white pieces as it felt like it needed more to fill in the gaps. I added the ribbon and the bling. I added it to a dark blue base.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Hot air balloon

I created the background with my Sky template and ground template. I then stamped the Stampin up trees in SU green ink. I die cute the SU hot air balloons and banner and added to the card to create a scene. I think I will send this to my brother and SIL for Christmas.. They were married in a hot air balloon quite a few years ago.  I had them in mind when I created my card.

Theme: ATG / Summer vibes

I was going through my dies and found this strip die from Simon Says and thought gee I've had it forever and don't think I have ever used it. Never...  so I thought now is the time. I laid it down and cut and backed the white behind it. Then die cut the flowers from Stampin up and used Ranger ink to add some colors. I added the SS sentiment and added a little brush of Ranger to it and added. I sprinkled some Perfect pearls.
