We just pretty much stayed home.

Theme: J for just kidding.. make it funny

I used a stamp from Katzelkraft.. This dog is so cute.. I colored with copics and cut it down and added it twisted to the background. I don't remember company name and it was by it's self in my stash of papers.

 added the Sugar pea sentiment to a scrap and using Stampin up circle die and added to the card. I finished with some left over diamond painting drills. Hope this card made you chuckle.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #284

Theme: Interactive - any kind

I knew what I wanted to make but didn't know how so I just created. It works but not as pleased as I would like to be....

I cut a strip out of the card front. I then stamped the Simon Says trees and snowflakes with Stampin up ink. I added some ink to the ground for snow. I had a stamp I think for Rubber baby buggy bumpers that was hills so stamped that in the snow so look like mounds. 

I cut the bear out of white dp and the bear is an Amazon die. He's so cute. I stamped the Merry Christmas on a scrap strip and added it for the pull piece. I added the bear to this piece. I used a Marvy punch to cut the half circle for the pull area. I added this to a card base.  It works.. lol

We have a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #188

Theme: How sweet it is

I had to borrow a Pumpkin monthly kit from my Stampin up friend. I did not have anything in my large stash of stamps that fit this theme. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this theme. 

It had this cute ginger bread house and arch was another piece in the kit that fit over the door and I used my arch die to cut it off the other piece. I stamped the sentiment that was in the kit. I added twine and used a piece of glitter paper and a Marvy punch to add the snowflake to the twine bow. I used a Stampin up embossing folder for the background. I added the ginger bread house and added the candy swirls to the card. I added this to a piece of dark green card stock.

Theme: Anything goes / Use Kraft

Oh I love Kraft and this was a simple fun card to create.  Stamped the background green with little flowers.. added the red piece and the ribbon is just tucked into the side and added a button for the interest.. The cute little little flowers with a simple sentiment.. I love the simple look and colors.

Theme: use Yellow / White / and one other color

This was a fun card to create. I found the background daisy designer paper and then I stamped and die cut the flower.. I added the sentiment and to help bring out the yellow center of the flower I added it to the yellow base.  Yellow/ White/ Blue

Hello 

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet Challenge

Theme: I - for insects

I was over at my friends house just visiting and we decided to create cards.. I saw a template she had on her desk that had circles cut out of it. So grabbed the Ranger inks and three colors and just did circles where I thought they should be. 

Once happy with that I used her large Butterfly stamp and stamped it. I added the Simon says sentiment and a few diamond drills. I love how this came out. Was so simple but effective.

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #283 

Theme: Kraft and Blue

This was a fun card to create. Again I chose to use paper colors vs. copic coloring.  The products are Stampin up. The happy birthday ??? no idea but I like it.  I chose some different blues to work with and die cut the images and laid out different ways and came to liking this layout best. I added the white pieces as it felt like it needed more to fill in the gaps. I added the ribbon and the bling. I added it to a dark blue base.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Hot air balloon

I created the background with my Sky template and ground template. I then stamped the Stampin up trees in SU green ink. I die cute the SU hot air balloons and banner and added to the card to create a scene. I think I will send this to my brother and SIL for Christmas.. They were married in a hot air balloon quite a few years ago.  I had them in mind when I created my card.

Theme: ATG / Summer vibes

I was going through my dies and found this strip die from Simon Says and thought gee I've had it forever and don't think I have ever used it. Never...  so I thought now is the time. I laid it down and cut and backed the white behind it. Then die cut the flowers from Stampin up and used Ranger ink to add some colors. I added the SS sentiment and added a little brush of Ranger to it and added. I sprinkled some Perfect pearls.

This was another fun card to create.. Again Stampin Up products.. I stamped the bubbles on the blue background card stock, added designer papers and added the colored with ink crabs.. I like their claws are intertwined..  Fun sentiment..

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #282

Theme:  Blue Skies

For my card I used Ranger ink and created the ground and used Rubber seed grass stamp and Stampin up ink.  I stamped the branch and it's an old wood block and no name now.. I colored it in with colored pencils.  I then stamped the Stampin up kitty and coloring in the heart with colored pencils. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink to create the sky.  I wanted to bring in the pink from the heart so I saw a strip of pink card stock in my scrap box and cut a couple strips and adhered behind the piece. I added this to a card base. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set.

We have a new challenge for this month over at

Aud Sentiments #340

Theme:  Alcohol inks and or Summer

I made this card using the dies from Stampin up. I created the background behind the lighthouse with Alcohol inks. I made three cause I just wasn't coming up with what I liked .. Finally said forget it. I am using this one. It's a stormy night at sea..  I find alcohol inks hard to use.. I die cut the added images out of scraps and used some ranger inks to give a little color. I added the sentiment from the set. Living by the pacific ocean in Washington state the water/beach is my happy place. I love hearing the ocean waves and the joy it brings to my heart.

I used a scrap for the background paper. I stamped the Simon says images and colored with copics.

I used the My favorite things circle die and used Ranger ink to go around the edge and added to the card front. I stamped the You're a winner from Simon says and the wishing you a happy birthday from Paper trey ink. Perfect for that fun person..

Theme:  word inspired rainbow

I used my friends Rainbow die from Stampin up and thought the designer paper behind from DCWV was perfect for color.. The stamped sun and fun sentiments from the Simon Says set.. I love how this came up and not having to color the inside pieces.. There are also dies to cut the inside rainbows so you can get a cool design using card stock.. him I may have to buy this die set.

Theme: summer theme

Again,,,, I made this over at my friends house who is a Stampin up rep. This was so much fun to create and love the little Faris wheel colors. Lots of die cutting but so worth it. All products are Stampin Up. 

 I like the arch design and layers. Lot's of fun to make.
