May the simple joys - Bugaboo new release

February Tuesday 20, 2018

Hello and welcome back. Today Bugaboo has a New / Old release. You can check out the DT's creations at Catch the bug..

This image is Edward St. Pats...  I really don't do St. Patrick day cards. So I just colored this a little different and kept the green to the background embossing folder by Tim Holtz. I colored the image with copics. When it was done I took my ruler and sent around the edges with a copic pen to make it look like the image was on a mat.. Well when I was done for some reason the lines of the ruler left this lined almost cross hatch look.. I almost cra---- my pants.. then I looked closely and was so happy it landed where it did and not on the image EXCEPT for his hand holding the flowers. So I used Paper Trey ink sentiment and added this in this area.. I added some twine to the bottom and made a circle die punch flower with a brad in the center. I added this to the twine bow..

Billie, love your coloring. Great clover in blue. Also love how you did the background of the stamp. Beautiful embossing.

All the details--intentional and otherwise--are fantastic! The card looks like it has lots of layers and depth as well as texture along with the requisite bow for our theme #340 at HIMCR. Thanks for sharing a 2nd card for this week! Becca~DT

Oh my I thought the background was intentional! It looks perfect. And your little hand crafted flower is adorable. I'll have to remember that - it's such a lovely addition.
