I am using the image called Fairy Magic.. I used copic to color her and the butterflies. I embossed the background with an embossing folder. I heat embossed the sentiment that is from Dolphin song. it's an old wood stamp. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the wings and butterflies.

As you like it - favorite way to add sentiment (I like to get the card done and added the embossed strip under the image. I try to use the same color as the bg so it ties it together. Also using foam dots to give it a nice depth.

I got a free birthday stamp from Simon Says in Nov. for my birthday.. This is the stamp.. Isn't he cute. I stamped the dog on water color paper and used my Mission water colors to paint the scene. I used My favorite things stitch die. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed and cut the words out. I love the cuteness of this card.

for my card I used Simon Says stamps an stamped all over the background and then used bronze embossing powder and heated. I went over the paper with Ranger inks watered down. I went around the edge with Ranger ink just distressing it.. I used Stampin up heart and cut out the designer paper which also has bronze in it. I stamped SS sentiment and added it. I then stamped a row of hearts and added this.

 "G" for GORILLAS AND MONKEYS

 

 

I couldn't wait to make this card. The Hello and monkey are from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is from Simon Says. I thought this was so funny to create this card as the sentiment and monkey work so well together. I colored the monkey with Zig water color brushes. The hello is distressed with Quick Quote chalk ink and then I went over the letters with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. The sentiment is heat embossed.

Last year I bought the Mama Elephant Santa and Reindeer agenda stamps and dies and this awesome 12 window frame. I stamped the images and colored with copics. I didn't want a lot of red so I made Santa's pants black. I used Ranger inks for the background and then added the frame which I used foam dots and is cut from a scrap of Quick Quote paper. I added the fun images on foam dots and then used Simon Says sentiment and banner and fussy cut it out. This is such a cute card.. well to me it is. I love these fun images and look forward to making more with the images. I have a whole year of Christmas cards to make so expect to see them again.

Tomorrow being Valentines day this New / Old release from Bugaboo would be perfect for that fun someone.. Check out the Catch the bug DT on their creations using this image.

 

If you've followed me long enough you know I love Stella.. This is Stella love stupid cupid.. Her and Gus crack me up.. I colored my image with copics and added some Spectrum noir to her hearts and boots. I added glitter to her wings. I then used My favorite things stitch die. I ran the red card stock through an embossing folder. I then went through my box of Stampin up punched flowers and chose three and added them and Martha Stewart punch leaves. To the center of the flowers I added Nuvo Drops.

 She's one crazy funny lady.

happy birthday - Catch the bug

I decided to use the free Friday image from January..

This is Birthday bird 1

I wanted to print this out on kraft and color. I used colored pencils. I like the look on kraft. I used a My Favorite Things stitch die and added a Tech. Tues. sentiment and a wooden heart. Cant have too many birthday cards.. good way to start the year.
