We have a new challenge at Inspiration Destination #138 and our theme is ANYTHING GOES

We are lucky to have one of our very own design team members as our sponsor for this challenge. Patricia Alvarez of KINDA CUTE.. If you haven't see her store yet, you for sure need to check it out. She has the most darling images that she created. If you head over to Inspiration Destination you can see what the DT created with her images.  I am using "Snowman and friends" I colored the image with copics and then created the sky with my cloud template. I used Simon Says stitch hill and created the snow bank. I used a white gel pen to give some dots and highlights. The sentiment is from Simon Says.

Dang November is going by pretty fast. I hope it's been a good month for you. Weather is good and you are enjoying life.

 

Today we have another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy #199

The Orange team chose CAS - CLEAN AND SIMPLE

 

 

During the summer I took some stamped images and my Mission paints and went out on the deck and painted. I later die cut them out and put them in a bowl.. Well now was the time to use one of the images.

This is from Tech Tuesday and the sentiment. I did not have a lily pad so I just free handed one and using Zig markers painted the lily pad and water. I think I did pretty good.. what do you think?? I then added the frog on foam dots. This card was done. CAS.

 I love Art Impressions images so using an old image that is a wood block rubber stamps I created this fun card. I stamped the guy and colored with copics. I added the wood floor with just swipes of the copic pen and then it looked bare so I added the My Favorite Things dog. The frame and sentiment is by Tech. Tues. stamped with Stampin up green ink. I then cut the image and background with Lil Inker stitch dies.

Welcome back to new release day at the Bugaboo store.. Fall fox..

This is the cute Fall Fox image. I colored the image with copics. The image was cut with My Favorite Things stitch die. I then took a scrap piece of paper and smeared some Quick Quote chalk ink and then stamped the Tech. Tuesday sentiment. I used MFT banner die. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. The background was made a long time ago using Stampin up re-inkers and texture paste along with a stencil. I love that I made a bunch of these up using different stencils and tinted texture paste so now when I need them they are dry and ready to use.

The path to a friend's house - Catch the Bug

Welcome back and to Catch the bug where we have another week long challenge for you.  HOME SWEET HOME..

FEATURE A HOME OR WORD HOME/HOUSE ON YOUR CARD

 

 

this is my card and I chose to use the sentiment with the word House in it. I am using this cute kid called

 "Winter kidz cat" and you can find him in the Bugaboo store..

  I colored the image during the summer with Prisma colored pencils and now that winter is right around the corner this would be a great time to use it. I now added the clouds using my cloud template. I then cut the image down and went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink. I had this background piece I created quite awhile ago using a stencil and texture paste. I then went over it once it was dry with Dylusions sprays to give it a nice colorful look. I stamped the sentiment from Stampendous.

You light up my life - Bugaboo Free Friday

Over at Bugaboo we have a Free Friday image for you. This comes with and with out the sentiment.

This is the Free Friday image. "You light up my life".. I chose the image with the sentiment already added. I colored with copics and used Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on the lights then used Quick Quote chalk ink to distress the edges. I then used a My Favorite Things die.  I used Oxide ink and created the background and spritzed with water. I then took some Rayon thread and added it behind the image.  This card was very quick and easy.

Today is Humor me Wednesday at Catch the bug..

11-5-17 is LOVE YOUR RED HAIR DAY

 

 

I am using two images from the Bugaboo store  The stack of books and boy book sitter..

I love red hair and always wanted red hair. Many years ago in my youth I use to dye my hair red. Chestnut red was my favorite. Later I did midnight burgundy.. I have brown hair prior to that.. Mid life I just let it be and went with the brown. Now I am gray.. I still have some brown.

Any way for my card I colored the images with copics and used a Simon Says sentiment. This was just an easy peasy card to make and I envy the red hair people out there..
