Tuesday is NEW RELEASE day at Catch the bug

This is my card using the new release.. I made her into a Christmas card but used some very different non traditional colors. I love the sentiment because she looks like she is puckering up for that holiday kiss.  She could be used for other celebrations besides Christmas. Today is a new week and a new challenge. It's one of my favorite.. ANYTHING GOES at Catch the bug

 

 

This is my card for the ATG challenge.. I think she is reading a good story.. or she is writing one and thinking of the next chapter.. this image is Kidz sitter girl book..  I love to read and have my kindle with me most of the time. I love the convenience of it and when I am done with one book the other one is right there. I wanted her to be sitting on a cool ledge so I had a piece of chip board border and painted it with gesso then took my paints and blotted the three colors on it.. dried the piece then took an all over script and stamped on the piece. I made the clouds behind her with my cloud template I made.. I added the sentiment below which is by My favorite things. I colored the image with copics and the base is kraft card stock from the kraft journal site.

Welcome to a new Free Friday image.. at Catch the bug

 

The Free Friday image is called Elephant Christmas tree you can find at the Bugaboo store

 

 

I kept this card pretty simple and will put the sentiment on the inside vs. outside like I usually do. I colored the image and put Washi tape at the top and bottom and used some card stock from Club scrap. Again a simple card which this week is what I need.

 This is my card using the image Paper doll tennis and the bingo card I went with the center row.. Stitching faux, rubber /digi, bling..  This image brought back warm memories. I use to play with paper dolls all the time.. it was something we did in the 50's. I remember every time we went to visit my grandparents in another state that grandma would always play paper dolls with me.  She has been gone many many years but I still have those memories.

A Friend is someone who fill your life with beauty - Catch the bug

It's with a heavy heart that late yesterday we had to say good bye to our little fur baby. He was the light of our lives and brought us many years of happiness. He had a very good life and was well loved.  He will be missed every day and now he is with his sister that we lost two years ago.  Our house is not the same..

 

 

It's Tuesday and so that means it's New Release at Bugaboo / Catch the bug

You can find the new image at the Bugaboo store

This is the new release called Friend Doodle Flowers - which makes for really simple coloring. I just colored the flowers /butterflies and added some gems to the center of each flower. Chalk inked the edge with Quick quote chalk inks. Layered the card and added some Washi tape along the two sides (I have so much washi tape I really need to use it). Very quick card. Perfect for that special friend.  I am blessed that I have a special friend who we can share thoughts, stories, heartaches and just a fun person to be with. I hope you are blessed with a friend like that. I hope you like my card and check out the Bugaboo store for this image and a lot more.

Welcome to Catch the bug Free Friday and the image is Santa stockings

 

This is the Free image for Friday and you have a week to pick it up over at Bugaboo

It feels funny making and posting a Christmas card when Halloween is tomorrow..

But Jodie has been doing a lot of Halloween images lately and so this is a fun image and a change. I used some My minds eye dp and Paper trey ink Peace die. I made it like a tag with a tag behind it. I put a brad to hold them together.
