With Fathers day coming soon I picked this time to get some cards made and this is the first one I have to show you for now.. I again find with masculine cards if I let the papers do the work I can pull it off.. I only used a small stamp and that is the "happy fathers day" so see it can be done.. I keep thinking what can I do on making masculine cards and my solution on the last few I have done were using the right papers. I am a paper hoarder so no problem coming up with what I needed.. LOL

Happy last day of March.. I know WA state is going out like a lion so I hope this means that the nicer weather will be here in April.. This darling flower pot and flowers is yours free at Catch the bug.. I saw this paper and knew that is what I had to use and so I made the flowers the orange color do go along with the paper colors. I love it. I needed to make some thank you cards and so thought this was perfect.

Country girl YeeHaw... I had this chip board star and wanted to wrap jute around it and I tried a few different things but gesh my dog could of done better. So I handed it to my dear hubby and said put some of this jute on it and surprise me... Well he did I LOVE THE SQUARE KNOT.. what a neat idea sure looked better than my wrap around mess.. He's so awesome ; )

Paper Pretty challenge Monday PAPER PIECING / PIERCING..
This is new release Monday at Paper Pretties http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/ There are two new releases from the artist to include sentiments this is "Eat your carrots" and there is "Blossom" (which I did not post - you can see it on the Paper Pretties site) Also there are three new releases of Fawns who is a new artist at PP. So there are a lot of images to choose from if your digi shopping.

I love vegetables and could eat them all day.. why I am dieting all the time - I don't know you'd think with veg and fruits I would be thin.. NOT.. oh well I have to say carbs are a downfall for me.. that may be the problem..you think!

This cute guy was fun to play with and use the vegetable paper for the background was perfect.

Monday March 26, 2012 It's new release at Paper Pretties with their new artist FAWN.. http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/ There are three new releases of hers and this is the one I chose to make into a card. I did not have at the time of completion the sentiments so I just used one that I thought fit the image from my own stash of sentiments. This set is called 1960.. I thought since this was a "1960" image set that I would use kind of faded old looking papers.. I hate to say old as in 1960 - cause gesh I was in Jr. High school..LOL.. OH well. I really thought the papers worked well with the image
