Theme is Spring / Easter + Sentiment

This is my card using the image called Avery in rain poncho.. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but knew I didn't want to do an Easter card so I dug through my stamps and found the "hello spring" by Simon Says.. then found the "you fill my day with Sunshine" also by Simon Says and it had this cute sun but I already die cut the image from a My Favorite Things rectangle die.. So I used temporary tape and stuck it down and embossed the sun on the card back and the rectangle, then took Ranger inks and did the background and rectangle using my sponging tool. I added some water spots to the sky part of the card. Then I colored the image with my copics and put the card back together.. The sun looked plain so I added some fun sequins to the center of the sun. I added the sentiments and some more sequins below.

This is my card and I chose International woman's day.. and using the image at the Bugaboo store called Fancy chibi..  I think International Woman's day is for women who have accomplished something in their lives.. it obviously doesn't have to be international... but that is the day.. I think this little lady has just written a new chapter in her life story and looks like she is celebrating that chapter or the new one she is starting.  I used a story card I got in my Simon Says kit of the month.. from a few months back. I chose the copic colors from the photo for her clothing. I added some bling and called it good. Oh added some white gel pen. still trying to get use to where do I put these dots.. LOL.. when I colored the scarf / boa it really needed something to liven it up so the pen helped that..

Welcome to another fun challenge at Stampavie and More #282 :

 STARS

 

 

When I saw the theme was STARS.. I knew what I wanted to do and other than the sky not being quite as dark as I pictured it in my head.. It came out great.  I know I could of made the sky darker but I did not want to lose the colors I had accomplished. I was afraid if I went farther I would lose what I have.. The sky stars and sentiment is embossed and I used Simon Says and My Favorite things stamps.. I just took a piece of paper and cut a slope and inked the ground by using different colors and moving the paper around. The image is from My Favorite Things and I colored them with copics and used a white gel pen for highlights. I added some small sequins to the sky. Oh the sentiment is from Simon Says.

Welcome to another New Release at Catch the bug.. We have a cute little monkey.. Monkey blocks in the Bugaboo Store

This is my card. I cut the images apart inside of having them three blocks next to each other. I then took my Stampin up Stitch die and made frame. I guess I wasn't thinking because at first I cut three squares out of the Kraft background.. I colored the images with copics and them put them behind the cut out window. I did not feel it looked right .. something was missing so I decided on the frames. If I would of known that I wouldn't of cut the Kraft.. Oh well .. you never know till you're putting the card together. I added some Nuvo drops and the sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

March is here and so we have our first Saturday

 Challenge at Catch The Bug.. First Saturday if the month is Always ANYTHING GOES 

 

 

This is my card using the image Elderly Man .  You can find more awesome images at the Bugaboo Store..  I always need masculine cards and birthday ones and I have issues with making masculine cards but this one just spoke to me.. so I listened and created.. I used the Stampin Up background cross hatch and Versa Mark on the blue card stock.. I had this stitched circle left over from another project from Simon Says so I took the Stampin Up little bitty background stamp and Versa Mark and stamped it.. I took the ticket from Simon Says and using an old Rubber Baby Buggy Bumper sentiment I stamped it on the ticket and the Happy Birthday is from Simon Says.. I colored the Elderly man with Copics and added glossy accents to his classes and black glaze pen to his buttons. The cane I also took that itty bitty stamp set and stamped it over the cane to give it a texture look. I took some scrap paper and Simon Says heart die and added the hearts on the card. The solid ones I added glossy accents. I used Quick Quote inks and distressed the blue and Kraft edges.  My male birthday card is made..  I hope you can check out the Design Teams cards.. Wow March is here already.. Dang this year is going so fast already.. I think older we get the faster it goes. 

Welcome to Catch the bug Free Friday.. you can find the image over at the Bugaboo Store..

 

 

This is the Free Friday image called CB Bottle..  Once again I am using one of the tags I found hidden away .. why I don't know cause I like tags..  They have a great texture to them. I took some Ranger inks and inked the tag.. I then took some Huey spray and splattered it over the tag and using My Favorite Things letter dies die cut out H U G S.. I added them to the tag and colored the Bugaboo image with Copics and added it to the tag. The background card base I used Dylusions sprays and let it dry. I added the tag to the card and to cover the hole I die cut Taylored Expressions butterfly and added some Gems down the body. I finished off the card with some white gel pen. I am not one for sending out Easter cards so I made this card and stamped the Happy Easter and added it with reposition tape.. once the photo was taken I removed the sentiment and added the sentiment below this photo... This could be a fun Happy Easter card with the cute bunnies from My Favorite Things. Perfect for that little child or grown child.  I used Simon Says die for the hills. My cloud template and Stampin up butterflies and punch banner. I added some gems to the butterfly body.. Love this card.
