Day 3 of our Christmas Chaos.. Today at Catch the bug  Today is a color challenge and with it being a Monday it's also ANYTHING BUT A CARD

 

This is the color chart to use and made a project that is anything but a card

 

I am all ready for my Journal binder for 2016. I thought it would be nice to make a little divider and inspiration sentiment for next year when I get to my December journal entry section.

I used Boy sitter and I put him on a candy cane. I pretty much kept with the colors above..  I used candy cane  and Christmas boy sitter I layered different colors and colored the image with copics then ran it all through my xyron lamination sheets.  I used my journal hole punch.

Welcome to day 2 of Christmas Chaos at Catch the bug

The challenge today is SKETCH

This is my card. I used a sentiment background but you really cant even see it.. I guess I should of started over but I do like the over all look and there is a contrast to the off white card base.

I used Christmas cupcake image. I hope you find time to play along and remember to stay with the Christmas theme and follow the sketch

Christmas Chaos 2015 - Day 1

Catch the bug Christmas Chaos 2015 .. A week filled with fun. Today is Day 1 and the theme is Here comes Santa.

 

 

Day 1 and it's Here comes Santa and I chose to use the image

 AKV Santa ho ho ho

I wanted to include a sentiment but with the ho ho ho banner he is holding I thought I would just use the over all background die from Lil inker.  I kept with the green and red colors for Christmas, which I usually don't do. You can hardly see the green card base. I hope you find time to play along. There will be prizes and fun times had by all. Join us in our week long Christmas Chaos.

Catch the bug / Bugaboo Free Friday

 

The Free Friday image is called Angel Boy Sitter... He is sitting on a chipboard piece. I popped out he snowflakes and colored them white.. then I sponged the chipboard green and spritzed with some water, then embossed with sentiment. I then put the snowflakes back in. I added some foam dots and then put the little angel boy on top. Added some snowflakes behind him.  I rounded the corners.  He could be used for other than Christmas I like that about a lot of the images Jodie draws..

I am using this cute image called Daffodil.. I loved that I could use some fun papers from Amy Tangerine. I do love that paper pad.. I colored her spring looking.. I so want spring to be here.. I am already tired of the cold and it's just starting.. Anyhow I added some white gel pen dots to her hat and water can to give it a little eye movement.. I tried to add folds to the cute apron.. I love her boots. It was a fun card to make and I hope you find time to enter your card over at Inspiration Destination.. it's a busy week but hope you have some extra time to get a few cards made..

Cute cats.. wish I wasn't allergic to cats.. they are so cute and so much fun to watch play. I love the cat videos. I thought after I made this I should of put meowie Christmas.. oh well it's made now..
