Oh man this posting is giving me a headache.. I can not get things to line up.. forgive me.

 

Fitztown has a challenge going on which is #61  Glitz/Glamor using Cameo 13

 

This is my card for the Glitz / Glamor .. I am not much for either but I had a great time making this card. I hope it comes across as pretty as it actually is.  I used the image called Cameo 13. you can find her here.  She is so pretty and looks like she could be quite glitzy I added a hair pin or lapel pin because of the feathers and gems in her hair (beads are from an old strung beaded bracelet that was on an elastic cording that gave away. ) Now the pin can be removed and used on a nice coat lapel. Added the stickled hearts to give a little more glitz / glamor.. I am loving this card.  I hope you play along and use a digi and make your glitz/glamor card.

New Saturday challenge at Catch the bug - FOOD  

I chose to use the image Christmas Cupcake Ornament

 

I picked out the background paper first and chose the ornament colors from there. I love this fun card. I added glitter to the frosting to give it more of an interest look. I used the wink of stella glitter brush on the ornaments but not sure it's coming across too good in the photo. Added this lovely lime green ribbon and the Merry Christmas banner to finish it off. Woo Hoo it's Friday and that means at Catch the bug it's Free Friday - Marshmallow snowman

 

Fun cute snowman and I should of put a nice cup of coco by him... he is a marshmallow after all.. LOL   But I kept this card pretty simple. I had this designer paper (?) don't know who it's by.. but loved the snow falling down so it made for a nice scene.

Aud Sentiments #119 challenge "Sentiment on the tag"

 

Our sponsor for this two week challenge is Rick St Dennis   I chose to use the image Betsy Bobbins.

I took two photos of my card. The first one is face on and the second card is sideways so you could see the clear embossing I did over the embossing folder design. It looks so cool. It really gives a great look with out being over powering.  I ruff cut the image of Betsy Bobbins which gave me a lot of open space. I felt it needed something more than the tag and no matter what way I put the tag it just did not look right. Hence the poinsettia which I love this die from My Favorite Things.. It's Wednesday so that means another challenge at Paper Pretties #335 "Thank You"

 

I was going through my paper pads and found this flower paper with the center die cut already done so I just added the burgundy behind it and then added the image up on foam tape which gave it an awesome depth layered look. I added some fun flowers and had the hubby punching out my leaves while we visited.. He did a good job huh.. He is so helpful and it's so nice that he loves to help me.

I added some white gel pen dots to the dress and ribbon. Looks cool huh. Well I think so..  I used the image Give thanks  she's so cute.

Catch the bug - New Release / Sending Holiday Joy

Tuesday at Catch the bug is New Release day (NR) today we have Kid winter girl

 

She is so cute and so easy to color. I just chose her fun colors from the paper I used. I added the ribbon coming off the edge and the presents are pre made stickers. I didn't have room for the sentiment so added it going up and down. I like the look. Makes you move the card around to look at it.  Check out the new releases at Bugaboo store

Welcome to another fun challenge at Fitztown #60- Love/Anniversay

 

It's time for a new challenge at Fitztown make a card using a digi and theme is Love/Anniversary.

 

I have this great sentiment from Simon Says and thought this image called Fae 19 by Fitztown  you can find her here  would be perfect. She looks like she is in love and thinking this sentiment for the perfect person in her life. I had a great fun time coloring her. I am loving the colors and the paper. I added a little orange ribbon behind to give a little eye catching to the card. One of my favorites.. for now.
