 This is my card for the challenge. I was trying to keep it simple and Christmas card in mind. I always love simple but stunning Christmas cards to make and I think this one is a winner. I was really pleased how this came out.  I am still in recovery mode but doing better than a couple weeks ago, pain pills help : )

Sketch time at Unscripted Sketches http://unscriptedsketches.com/

Not only is this a sketch challenge but it has a piggy back challenge:  movement challenge  this can be a pocket, pop up, swing out... with my card there is a butterfly that has bakers twine between the two butterflies body and when you twist the butterfly and close the card when who ever receives it and opens the card the butterfly will twirl around.. cute huh?

this weeks challenge is Bingo. See the photo below for the options.  I chose  starts with P, sentiment, and 3 or more papers.. (my sentiment is hard to see but it says "sweet pea"

 

If you did not see my posting below on Oct 18th, I had surgery on Oct.12 that was more involved than thought till the Dr. got in. So I am on bed rest, typing while I lay on my side which is not easy. My cards posted are ones I made few days prior to the surgery.

I have been missing in action for a week now and I did not get these three cards loaded. Plans changed and I had no control over. I went in for surgery Friday the 12th and it was to be a day in and out surgery... Well surprise when out of surgery the DR. said we are keeping you for awhile. Once they got into the surgery it was more involved and so lots of cutting and stitching and LOTS of pain.. I was fine with that as the meds they gave in the hospital were more potent than the take home.. I did not get home till Wed the 17th in the afternoon.. I am trying to type while laying down and it's not comfortable. But I wanted to at least get these cards posted and I am not including all the sketch, or samples of images or photo. It's just to get these that I made well in advance posted. I will post only cards in the future that are already made as it will be awhile before I can even think of making more cards.

Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ Free Friday .. flower pocket!!

I decided to make a tag which I love to do but am always afraid to do.. Well I love the way this came out. I printed off the digi freeby and I made it smaller than I realized and it just seemed so lost on a card so decided to make it into a tag and just go from there. I am in love with the way it came out and the additional embellishments I added . I thought if you need a sentiment it can always be added to the back side so I left it off as there just wasn't a place to add one and make it look OK. What do you think?. Like I've said before tags scare me but I may be over that fear now.  : )
