Welcome to another Friday free digi from Catch the bug today we have AKV carnival.. it is fair time I know our Lewis County fair is going on right now. Our little town fair is not what I am use to (coming from a big city) it's so small but there are a lot of fun things to see, the animals are always fun and I like seeing the drawing and quilts that locals do. Some awesome talented people out there. Of course the food is great. Elephant ears, stir fry noodles, ice creams, on and on.. We get a lot of big music stars that perform here, Oakridge boys, Al Yankovich and more..

Welcome to a new release at Catch the bug and the new release is called Sock monkey school. Wouldn't this make a cool back to school card to put in a lunch box, back pack or even a car seat for those college students. I had some scraps left over from other projects, the scallop circle is a scrap, the little dots under the book is from the die negative from the notebook edge..kinda looks like little deco ribbon balls.. Hearts are from another project that did not happen.. Love when scraps can be used.

Another new release at Paper Pretties, there is Fawn's new release called Walk in the park..

Again I used the Lil inker frame embossing plate for the main part of the card. This scene just looked like it needed to be framed. I really love how it came out. I really had thought of using a nice simple flower frame but it just did not look right with the image..too busy so I decided to use the simple brown wood look and put flowers as embellishments to give the feminine look.

New release and bring back an oldie image at Paper Pretties and today we have Poodlicious and Aaahhh.. Poodlicious is sitting with a cupcake and looks pretty happy with his big goodie.. Aaahhh hand gliding and he/she is crazy.. this is something that I would never ever do. I get willies in the tummy just being over a bridge or looking down from the road. No way I'd ever do this. This weeks challenge is ANYTHING GOES..

Again I let the paper work for me and just cut out the Aaahhh image and the words and that is it. Of course colored him /her but how simple can that be. Again love when the paper does the work.

Today is color challenge at Catch the bug. I love the colors so I had fun making my card. I hope you find time to play along.

I got this cool embossing frame from Lil inkers and love the idea of the framed image. I think I will be using this frame concept a lot. This card would be cute just framed setting on a dresser.
