Freeby Friday at Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ for one week only get this free cute little crab in a boat.. I like the challenge of doing a little scene card and this one really needed to be in a nautical scene.. I thought.. I have these great dies from te/mft with the wave and the sun so it worked perfect. I love the water and feel so filled inside/refreshed when I go by the sound or lakes or even our river that runs along our property and into town..

OK This is the last post for tonight.. gee what is this #5 oh my.. I do hope these give you some ideas and encourage you to just play and make..

I saw a card made by Michelle at "stop and stamp the roses" http://stopandstamptheroses.blogspot.com/ using washi tape and she makes awesome cards.. I kind of used her idea and made my own card.. I am happy with the way it came out. Again I used my stash of pre-made calendar page butterflies that I die cut.

Ok I am coming to an end on the card posting. I do have one more I may post ; ).. of course another thank you card.. I was on a roll making thank you cards and always a nice gift and gift set. My friend Amy gave me this Thank you stamp as a thank you and I love it and use it a lot. It fits nicely in those small places.

Oh I love this card and was so glad that I made it as a gift for someone else to give. I love using dies and I try to always take my scraps when they get too small and find dies that fit so when I need to make a fast card I have most of the pieces and it saves time. I do the same with the butterflies, I have a jar full of different butterflies from different papers. It's so much fun going through the jar, doing this really helps keep the scrap drawer low so I can close it..lol.. oh I do this with flower dies and leaf dies.. they are there ready to use.. try it you'll love it and be able to close that scrap stash drawer..

Good evening. I made some cards as a gift pack for the speaker at our ladies church retreat back in April and I have been waiting for some challenges to enter before I post them. Well tonight I finally found some so I am going to post most of them if not all.. This is one of the cards I made and I love the simplicity of it. I tried to keep them all simple and easy to mail out since they were a gift for someone else to give.
