New release tuesday at Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ This digi is called "Flower Pocket"..

I have been hoarding some washi tapes and thought it's best to start using them so hence the background. I am still having some problems of how to use this tape but having fun playing with it. I have a few cards coming in the future to show.

I really love the colors and this was a fun card to make. Again I used my butterfly made from a calender flower page, those calendars are so big so you get a lot of usage out of the photos so really look at those past calendars you have and cut it for die shapes plus you get a two sided image, so you can choose what side you want to show.. you'd be surprised how beautiful they turn out and nice weight of paper.

New release Monday Paper Pretties

Good Morning, it's Monday new release at Paper Pretties http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/ and challenge.. use RIBBON ... There are two new releases and sentiments, I chose to use Catarina .. the other image and sentiments is Hanging out with mom.. another darling image but chose this one because I wanted to just layer the ribbons and this worked better.. I thought this could also make a cute mothers day card with the sentiment, also a celebration of any type very generic sentiment that can go with a lot of occasions which I think is great..

I broke into my stash of ribbons and just layered them and threw in a little cording too.. Used a stitch paper from dcwv and buttons and floss to kind of keep it in the sewing/ribbon theme.

It's the first Saturday of the month so you know what that means at Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ It's ANYTHING GOES (ATG) challenge..

I had to use Margaret a digi from the fine line of images at Catch the bug.. AND I have had this die for the tea pot from Taylored Expressions and was so ready to use it and so grabbed this image and worked it around there. I sure wish there was a pattern tea pot like this out there in real life as I love the look.. Any how I hope you enjoy my card and play along over at catch the bug.

Unscripted Sketch #157 http://unscriptedsketches.com/

I love trying to figure out what to use to make my card for the challenges at Unscripted Sketches.. I sometimes use the digis that I have a lot of but I also have SO MANY stamps.. boxes, shelves, cd cases, of stamps.. it's either disgusting or exciting depending your craftiness.. I decided to use unmounted and wood mount for this card. I kind of kept it simple to keep with the sketch but hay if you find a design paper for the background use it.. Free Friday digi image at Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ and today it's butterfly bear.. I love the look and thought he could make a person smile, hence the stamp for "Happy day". I guess I was into circles when I made this card.. I sometimes try to figure out a layout and I seem to use squares and such so today I went circle..
