This card was created using Stampin up products.. The designer paper caught my eye and I love those colors and of course had to add orange to it.. So this is what I created.. Yes it's January but I am so ready for spring and bright colors.

Theme: Anything goes / Snowman

I had fun creating this fun snowman card. The snowman was a piece from Quick quotes. I took a red card stock and using an embossing folder ran it through and then took a white ink pad and swiped it across the embossed area. I heat set it.. I then added the image to a piece of QQ green piece and added to the card.

Theme: Pattern paper / designer paper

This was fun.. I have this plain image that I wasn't sure how to make it stand out. I thought let the paper be the interest and it would make the image stamped in kraft color ink more noticeable. I kept the bling and sentiment soft. I have so much pattern paper (dsp) I think I make a good choice.

I seldom make square cards.. I thought this was pretty easy as I just added a simple design on the front. 

This is from the Stampin up pumpkin kit. It's just punching out and adding the pieces to the card base. I stamped the congratulations, it has different small stamp words to use.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Country Scape

I really thought about this card.. I guess we all have ideas what a country scape looks like.. If I look out my windows from the north and south.. This is what I see.. We live out in the country. Yes there are  fields all over, but we are surrounded by hills, evergreens and mountains.. I live in Washington State..

So when I saw this Stampin up Pumpkin kit  I know I had to make this card.

Sparkles Christmas - Merry Christmas

Hello and Happy New Year!!!

We have a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #180

Theme: Animal and tree and of course Christmas 

This is the card I made.. I took a piece of acetate and adhered to a small flap which is the background. I then took decorative designer papers and added to the front and back of the acetate but leaving an open area to have the inside greeting to show through.. I stamped and cut out the fox and present. Stamped and die cut two trees and added on to a circle and added this to the left side of the acetate strip.
