Do Al(l) Creative #99 - Another round for your birthday

Saturday March 1, 2025

Hello and hope March is off to a good start for you

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Anything goes / waterfall card

I love this card and surprised I have not made one sooner. It's rather quite easy if you watch a You Tube 5 times. LOL.. Plus have a friends help.. All products are from Stampin up.. There are three images to show the card in action. If you make this card the long strip which is what you pull for the waterfall to work - cut it at 9 inches vs. 8-5/8.. it's a little too short I thought.

This is showing the card all the way open

March 2025 calendar page

Saturday March 1, 2025

Hello

For many years I have done calendar pages with a group of ladies. Some group of ladies change but we still keep the pages going. I love creating a month and seeing it for a whole month. I love seeing the other ladies months. It brings a smile as I look at it and see what they created.

This is my March page. I used Ranger ink and smushed it down on my glass mat and placed my whole sheet of card stock on it and kept doing it till I got the look I wanted. I did this to three sheet. I set them aside to day. I then took water color paper and sprayed it with water and used Paul Ruben, Mission gold water colors  added the greens, golds and yellows till I got the blend I wanted and did 1 sheet for the clover leaves. I set it aside to day.  I waited a few days and then using Stampin up die I cut out a bunch of hearts from the green water color paper. I added them in groups of 3 and placed a button with twine in the center. I stamped the sentiment and used Tech. Tues. banner die. I dug through my scraps and using Simon Says die cut some strips and then just cut them in different so a piece could go behind the month.
I cut the smooshed sheets into A2 sizes. I then took an overall Simon Says stamp and using SU ink stamped each page. (I need to make 12 pages) I then did a few splatters on the page.
Then I put it all together and this is what I created.
