Welcome to another challenge over at

Make my Monday #241

Theme: Faux or real stitching

I think I should of changed the background color vs. the tan background. It's doesn't do the card justice..

This card I made for my daughter who loves purple and the base is a deep purple from Stampin up. The image is what I stamped when I was at a friends house and I don't know the name of the image but it's beautiful I think it's a Gina K image . That's why I stamped it.. lol.. I colored with Copics. I used My favorite things stitch die and cut the image and the green. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiments. I used Nuvo drops on the top sprig. I added Taylored Expressions gems for the center of the flower and Spectrum Noir glitter brush over the petals. I added some diamond drills for extra bling.  I know she will love it.. Her birthday is in February.

Hello and hope your day is going well and your weather is what you like

We have another challenge over at

Alphabet challenge - last one till the new year

Theme: Silent night

I used Ranger inks and created the night sky. For the falling snow I used bleed proof white and splattered the sky. I then used Stampin up houses and die cut them out. I tried so many options an didn't like any so settled for this.. still not that happy with it. I used Simon Says die for the snow mounds. I used Ranger in to give a little color and stickles for some glitter. I stamped the sentiment and don't know who it's from. It's a silent night - everyone is in bed

This is our last challenge till after the new year..

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #240 

I'm the host this challenge so I chose:

Theme: Christmas 

I used Quick quote scraps and created my card. Love their dp's.  I had this sentiment and I don't know who it's from.. I heat embossed it. The birds are a die I cut at my friends house. I don't know who they are by but love them. I should of die cut a lot more.. I may have to borrow it or find out who it's from and buy it.. I added a little color with Ranger inks. I added the eyes that are tiny gems from Taylored Expressions. This was a fun simple card with a festive flair.

Theme: Christmas card or tag

For my card I used scraps had on my table, chair and surrounding area (lol) .. The script piece is from another project I was doing and testing ink colors. it's a Local King rubber stamp. The brad piece was from a test kit I was doing for Quick quote. So I stamped the Simon Says Santa and colored with Copics. I fussy cut him out. I stamped the Paper Pretties Merry Christmas and added some diamond painting drills for extra bling.

Hello and Happy December 1st

Theme: Christmas song or carol

For my card  I saw this sentiment from Simon Says and thought lets do a different Christmas card.. I had water colored some papers awhile back and just put in a container.. I sometimes do this with paints that are just on my blending plate.. I figure I can use is some time or another.  So I took black card stock and used my Paul Reuban metallics and some white and splattered on the black.. Then set aside to dry and got out my watercolor strips and My favorite thing star dies and cut them. Then heat embossed the sentiment. I laid out the stars and the center one I used puffy dots. I like the way it came out. Hope it inspired you.

This is the sketch to use

This is my take on the sketch and I used a SheepSki image .. I used a scrap of Quick Quote board paper and a couple of other scraps to create the sketch. I colored the image with copics. I used a white gel pen on the berries and used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the bells. I used My Favorite Things die and went around the edges with Quick Quote ink. I added to the card base. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and added the three blings from Stampin up.

I made a round card. I used some scraps I had and Stampin up dies. I stamped the flower at a friends house and don't know who it's by - same with the be. I colored with Ranger ink and copics. I added diamond drills to the center. I stamped the sentiment and use circle die.

This card is an easel card and I forgot to take a photo of the inside.  It's a strip of the dashed background strip and words It's your day.. sorry about forgetting it. Busy month. I loved die cutting all of those colorful branches and arranging them so they looked pretty. once I got them then I started adhering then to the sentiment back and adding more and more till all are added. then added the whole grouping down,  I love this look and colors. for sure a favorite color combo.

Hello again

Theme: Food / Drink

I was over at a friends house in Oct. and she is a stamper / card maker too and I brought different papers over and some in and stamped some of her images that I thought I could use some time in the future.. Boy I am glad I did cause these stacked coffee cups is perfect. But I didn't write down who the stamps are from So sorry I don't know who it belongs to but I sure had fun coloring it. I put glossy accents on the dripping coffee and some Spectrum Noir sparkle on some of the cups. I had this sentiment from Stamp Simply that is perfect. I heat embossed it and fussy cut it out

Hello.. did you survive Halloween (we never get trick or treaters - but always buy the candy - LOL) and we have Thanksgiving coming up. I think it's going to be quiet. Family is so spread out it's sad but it is what is is.

Theme: Your 3 favorite colors

My favorite colors are the ones below. Purple, Orange, Green... I usually use for Halloween cards and so it's refreshing that I could use the for this card instead. All Stampin up products. I do love carrots and my favorite is carrot salad which my daughter hated growing up. we still kid about it.. I don't like eggs and she doesn't like the salad.
