Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Theme:  Squash it - use an embossing folder

Oh my I am loving these moths.. I bought this die set from Emily Moore Designs and I loved them so much I also bought the other two moths dies. side views.. I got some stencils from her too .. I will be using them in the near future. 

I just grabbed some scraps and die cut a bunch of pieces and them created the moth I thought looked good with color choices.. 

I didn't add a sentiment cause I don't know who I am sending it to yet or for what occasion... 

I used an embossing folder for the background..

I think my card screams flowers... I used flower designer paper and added the foil die cut leaves on a dotted circle.. I finished with a sentiment. simple and fits the theme. This is another pumpkin kit card

Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet Challenge

Theme: B - for Balls

So I googles what a soccer  ball looked like and I cut out circle and penciled in what I thought would work and then used a sharpie and a copic pen to fill it in. I used Ranger in to shadow the edges.. I think it looks pretty good. I did the bounce and added a hint of green to the ground.  I wanted a score so dug through a drawer with seldom used stamps and found these separate letter stamps and spelled out score and finished with a Paper trey ink sentiment.  I am really liking this card.

Hello everyone

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #276 

Theme:  A circle anything with  circles

 I have used this paper a lot.. I think I am pretty much done with it but you never know..  I do have a few small strips left over.. hummm

It's pretty simple to create. Couple strips of DSP down the sides and then the card stock layers and the black circle and white sentiment circle..  This paper makes me happy..

I made my card with Stampin up products except for the sentiment - PTI and banner die MFT. 

I had fun creating this card and trying to use paper for most parts vs. ink.  I always use copics and I know there are some pretty papers and I need to let them standout. I am pleased with the way this card came out, and the little embossed strip behind the florals. I finished with some diamond drills

Theme:  Star wars day - anything to do with space

For my card.. It's funny I woke up yesterday thinking of this design so just went for it.

I stamped the image so I could figure size for arch.. image and sentiment is for My favorite things.

I colored with copics and used Tech. Tues die for sentiment. I took my Stampin up space dp and cut a arch. I took black cardstock and cut another arch. I used Oxide ink to color the frame. I added perfect pearls for stars.. I added to the card base and added the cute image.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme: in the air - plane/balloons/bird/  ----

I did a recycle.. My brother sent me a birthday card with these balloons on them and I loved them so took them off the card and thought some day I will use them. 

I created my background with my cloud and ground template I created using Ranger ink. 

I got this bear die (and others in the set) from Amazon.. I cut the bear out and used a watercolor pencils to give some shading. I added a black card stock behind the nose and used a pen to add the dyes and little mark under the nose. 

I added the balloons and bear and stamped the My favorite things sentiment.. I love how he came out.. I used a scrap for the scarf..

It's time to do another challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #184

Theme:  Gifts

I pondered on how to do gifts as a theme. I have stamps but I wasn't seeing a good design using them. So I went to my desk where my watercolor items are and I had some strips of water color paper so I took 2 strips and wet my watercolors - Altnew and Paul Ruben metallics and just laid colors down.. I let them dry for the day and then used My favorite thing stitch die, Simon says bow, and Stampin up bow.. I designed the gifts and embellished with diamond drills. I used snowflakes from Simon says and embossed them. I used DRS vertical sentiment and embossed it.. I added a piece of washi tape on the bottom for grounding the gifts.

For my card I used Simon Says heart stencil and Ranger ink to add the raining hearts. I got scraps and die cut the umbrella from My favorite thigs, and the boots from Simon Says. I cut the flowers off the boots. I added the hello spring from Simon Says and die cut MFT. with Stampin up ink.

I had a piece of watercolor paper I used for a future calendar pager I needed to make for a group I belong to. This blue and the light blue were left over. I thought would be a great background. I die cut the flowers and using Ranger ink colored them and the leaves. I added the die cut hello and the diamond drills for bling.

The photo of this card wasn't the best. it meets in the middle. The card kinda lock itself shut. The right side is created using 5 strips of double side designer paper and folding each in in opposite directions and layering them down the card. Then the left side is a different dsp.
