Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over at

Make My Monday #145

Our theme is EASTER CRAFT

So for my card... I bit the bullet and did the masking technique.. I have tried in the past and cringe and usually get it wrong so I round file it.. Well I have been watching Kelly Latevola Taylor.. she does masking quite often and so I really listen and watch. Well I gave it a try. I stamped the Simon Says bunny/chick then masked then the eggs, masked then the grass hill. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink for the sky and ground.. Then I removed the masks.. WaLA.. it worked.. I was so excited. I colored the images with copics. I did have to use my Memento marker to add the chicken feet, just the part on the egg. I went over the eggs with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush and with a copic added some grass blades. I stamped the SS sentiment with Ranger. I am happy with how it came out. I was surprised..

It's time for a new challenge over at 

Always Fun Challenge #207

Our theme this week is

RAINBOW

So for my card I decided to use an actual rainbow die and go that route vs. just doing rainbow colors on an outfit or flowers. I have been thinking of this since I saw the challenge. I almost round filed it a couple of times.. I used Simon says rainbow die. I used copics to color each stripe and set aside.. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template to create the sky. I then added the rainbow to the card. I used Taylored Expressions cloud die and some gray scraps. I distressed it with some white SS ink. I die cut from scraps two Stampin up hearts. I used Quick Quote chalk ink to color it a little. I heat embossed the Reverse confetti sentiment.  I put it all together and was happy with how it came out. I did go over the rainbow with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

It's time for a new Stella Says Sketch #907 

over at Catch the bug

                                               This is the easy fun sketch to follow

I thought I would use the image from last month for my focal point Valentine jar. I fussy cut the image out and colored with copics. I went over some of the hearts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added to some Amy Tangerine papers. I used some Quick Quote chalk ink on the gray/white stripe to distress the edge. I added some Stampin up jewels and a couple Simon Says foamy hearts.

Hello

A friend asked me to make her a birthday card with a fox on it.. So this is what I created. I sure hope she likes it. I stamped the Tech. Tuesday and colored with copics. I used some scraps and created a frame with some scraps. I added a die leaf behind the fox and added the fox with some foam dots. I stamped the TT. sentiment and used Spellbinder banner. Added this to the bottom of the card.

This is my card. I stamped the My favorite things image and Gerda Steiner cup and painted with Mission gold watercolors. I used Paper Trey ink die and scrap to create the background. I added a little strip of Washi tape. I added the fun image then completed with Tim Holtz snarky sentiment.

This is my card using the Stampers anonymous image. I stamped this image on black watercolor paper and heat embossed in silver. I used my Paul Rubens metallic watercolors and then used Simon Says die to cut down. I added to a piece of purple Stampin up dp. I added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

This is my card using this cute image April showers promise. I colored the image with copics. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used My favorite things stitch die. It's day 7 of the Coffee Lovers blog hop Spring / Summer..

 I have had so much fun creating cards to enter. It's over tomorrow . 

This is my card. I stamped the Pretty Pink Posh image and Gerda Steiner coffee cup and painted with Mission Gold watercolors.  I had a Quick Quote scrap so added the images to the piece with a strip of Washi tape for grounding. Added the Sugar Pea Designs sentiment with Stampin Up ink. I added the button.

I dug through a few of my coffee / tea images and found this one. i think I have used it before but it's been awhile if I have.. at least I think so.. lol.. one day is the same as the next.. half the time I am not sure what day it is. being retired and stuck at home because of this pandemic is taking a toll.. Anyhow I stamped this fun Stampendous  House mouse image and colored with copics. I added a little Spectrum noir sparkle brush to the small amount of coffee showing. Yes it's coffee. I don't drink tea unless it's Matcha and cold.  I added the Sugar Peas sentiment.  I mounted on a piece of Authentique green paper.

I think this image is so darling. I love seeing cows here in the country but we don't have any like this..  We have seen a couple long horn but that's not the usual for our area.. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used My favorite things die and then added to a piece of 7 Gypsies dp. I added some Tech. Tues. flowers and heat embossed the sentiment. I went over the flowers and bell with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Hello

I am doing 2 cards today for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop Day 6

I am only doing one card at a time.. 

For this card I used a My Favorite Things image that I painted with Mission Gold watercolors.  I also stamped the Gerda Steiner cup and painted with Mission. I used Spellbinder die and cut the embossed designer paper. I added some stenciling with my dry wall mesh and Ranger ink. Then added the die and image on a little piece of Washi tape. I stamped the Gerda Steiner sentiment and My favorite things square die then added to the card.

I have a card that a friend requested me to make that was music notes and birthday.. That's all. 

So this is what I came up with.. I stamped the Paper Trey Ink.. with Stampin up ink. I then stamped the Hero Arts sentiment with another Stampin up ink. I added them to a card base. I added a scrap of blue down the center. I stamped the Judi Kins image with SU ink and added to a scrap. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.. I hope she likes it.

I am doing the fun Coffee Lovers blog hop for Spring / Summer

This is Day 5 card.. I die cut the Simon Says wreath in in two colors.  I used Ranger ink and used my dry wall mesh as a stencil to add texture to the center.. I had some hearts I punched from Stampin up that were water colored with Mission Gold paints. I added them around the wreath then I took some foliage I had die cut from scraps and added them around the wreath. I finished with some Prima flowers and Nuvo drops.  For the cute to go cup I die cut the Simon Says image and using copics colored it. I added some Taylored Expressions gem eyes. Then I stamped the Sugar peas designs sentiment with Stampin up ink.

Time for a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Guyz #267

Our theme this challenge is

BY THE WATER

As soon as I saw this theme I knew the stamp I would use. It's from a dear dear long time friend who died 12 yrs ago. She was also a crafter. She was so awesome. When she passed I got 3 stamps from her one was a sentiment she made up on a challenge and they made it into a stamp for her and a few other stamps. this is one from Santa Rosa PSX.. She loved the beach and her ashes are there.  I stamped this on some blue designer paper and then using my cloud template and Ranger ink created the clouds (duh) and then using copics and color pencils created the hint of water and the beach. the sky looked so bare so I punched some Martha Stewart birds flying and one on the beach and used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the birds..

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

This is my card using Tobey Easter Egg.  I colored the image with copics. I remember always making my Easter eggs as colorful as can be in my younger days.. Using crayon and marking out areas and adding more color and repeating until done then using a candle remove the wax crayon and getting an awesome design. I hate eggs and don't eat them as far as being fried, poached, scrambled, boiled.. you get the picture .. but I loved coloring them.  I added my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added this to a scrap of Quick Quote barn board/rust paper.  I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and used a Stampin up tag die. I went over the egg with Spectrum Noir sparkle bush.

I stamped the Newtons Nook image and painted with Mission Gold. I used My Favorite things and a scrap and die cut the Quick quote piece. I had a scrap of ribbon so added this to the piece. I added some Stampin up leaves and the image. I finished with Tim Holtz snarky sentiment.

This was so much fun to make.. I think the background paper is from DCWV.. I dug through my scraps and found these 4 colors and using Reverse Confetti die cut them out. I went around the edges with Quick quote chalk ink. I added the Taylored Expressions sentiment coloring the paper with Ranger ink. I used Copics and colored the two hearts and using Stampin up punch added them to the card.

Hello.. This is the second Zoom card I created with my crafty friends. 

I used some scraps from Basic Gray and Quick Quote and Pretty Pink Posh images and the grass behind the mail box is a strip of My favorite things grass. I colored with copics. The brown card stock is Stampin up.  I used Ranger ink to distress the sentiment edges.

Today I have a card to share for the Coffee Loves hop .. This is Day 2

I stamped and water colored with Mission gold paint. I had this scrap of green from Quick Quote project so used it as a background and die cut the wood strip with My Favorite Things die. I added the twine and leaves.  I added the snarky Tim Holtz sentiment.
