This is Dino in egg.  I colored the image with copics. I then used the Taylored Expressions postage die. I stamped the My Pink Stamper sentiment and Simon Says happy birthday which I used Stampin up die to cut out. For the background I used kraft and a SU stencil and Versa Mark to create the circles.  I kept this pretty simple.

I am using the image Gnome parade 2.. I colored this image with copics. I stamped the Pretty Pink Posh sentiments and added a brad to the center of the wheel.. (I just went through my brads / eyelets  and donated all the eyelets and put the brads in containers so I can see and use more.. since I have a gazillion of them)  I added the image to a scrap of Quick Quote designer paper.

This is my card using the image called Isobel bunny in basket. Isn't she just so cute? I know it's well after Easter but this image just screamed Easter so I figure I have a card for next year..
I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink to create the sky. I added the image to a piece of scrap paper and stamped the Holly Berry House sentiment and heat embossed. I added this to a A2 size card base.

APRIL SHOWERS

I found this white board Quick Quote scrap so I took Simon Says stamps and Stampin up ink and stamped the flowers. On a separate piece of paper and Stampin up ink I stamped the flower pot. I fussy cut out and added with foam dots.  I added the Simon says sentiment. the scrap was too narrow so I added some strips of QQ scraps down the side then added the white board strip. It's nice seeing the weather getting warmer and the flowers blooming. April showers bring spring flowers is so true.

Our theme this week is

CAS - clean and simple

I used watercolor paper and stamped the Finders Keepers old wood block red rubber stamp. I used Mission watercolors to paint this little image. I let it dry as I did other things.. Came back and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment and added to a card base.. Pretty much CAS.. I am getting use to this now.. I wanted so bad to add jewels but I am getting ok with CAS.. They sure are fast to create. This one made me laugh with the sentiment.. living in the country I can see this being sent out.

So today is time for a new sketch for the

Stella Sunday Sketch #909

This is the sketch to follow

 

So for my card I used the image called MIS Gus birthday old fart.  I colored the image with copics. I dug through my scrap box and added the goldish brown behind Gus and then the blue check.  I added some Washi Tape along the bottom and finished with the Simon Says happy birthday. It's a fast simple sketch. Can't wait to see what you create.

This is Bee small flower.. I colored the image with copics Then using Stampin up ink and Simon Says honey comb stamp stamped the background. Used a little copic to added some color. I stamped the SS sentiment on a scrap. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the wings.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet Challenge letter is B

Theme is 

BIRD

As soon as I saw the theme was birds. I knew where to go for my images.. Tim Holtz crazy birds. I haven't used them for awhile and thought they're perfect. I stamped and used Mission Gold water colors. I set aside to dry. I took Kraft card stock and My favorite things brick stencil and Ranger ink and created the background. I used Texture paste to create the little white lime bleeds that bricks seem to get. I added some layers of grass along the bottom using MFT die and scraps. I added some leaves coming over the brick wall and then using the dies cut out the bird. Added them with foam dots and found this fun snarky TH sentiment.  I think the expression on their faces they could for sure be saying this.. 

" I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right...   I think the yellow bird isn't buying it.. lol

It's time for a new challenge over at

Our theme is

MOTHERS DAY /or FOR THAT SPECIAL PERSON

For my card I tried a new card layout.. You take a 12x12 (mine is from Quick Quotes) double sided piece and cut at 5.25 and 11 then score three different areas and fold up. You cut a card base to A2 side and adhere the scored back larger piece on the card base. then added a design to the front. I messed up I think so I adhered the front flap to the next piece. The stamps are from Simon Says and colored with copics.  It's an interesting card fold. See below image

 

inside fold. The little folded far left side is adhered down to the yellow and then the image piece is adhered to that. Otherwise you could have three areas to add sentiments, more images.. but I chose just the two areas.

I am using the image Cupcake Birthday girl. I colored her with copics and created the wall behind her with copics. I used Simon Says thin die to cut her out and colored the frame with copics and added her to the A2 size card. I stamped the Reverse confetti sentiment and used Stampin up punch. I went around the edges with Quick quote chalk ink. I added some Stickles to the candle flame  I went over some of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some Stampin up punched hearts that I had from a water color piece I didn't care for.. saved it by punching a bunch of hearts.

I am the HOST over at

So I got to chose the theme

WHEELS - show something with wheels

I know this doesn't look so manly... BUT. I was thinking of my son and dil.. they go camping all the time in their little camper and tow with their car. So this guy took his honey camping. To make it homey for her he added the little flamingos. (if I had smaller dogs I would of added two little dogs as that's what they have.. but the flamingos were better size).. I thought the red made it more masculine vs. pinks and greens. I colored the images which are from Lawn Fawn and Newtons Nook. I used my cloud and ground template to create with Ranger ink. I stamped the sentiment and used Stampin up die.  The strip of dp is from Quick quote.  I love the scene and fun thought of getting away and camping. If only I had a camper.

I am using the image called Hand in hand.  I thought the umbrella was to shade against the sun and not rain so I kept it spring and green.. I colored the image with copics. I used Simon says thin die. I grabbed some scraps that are Quick quote dp. and pieced the background. I added the Reverse confetti sentiment.  I distressed the edge with Ranger ink and used a Tech. Tues. banner die.

It's time for a new challenge over at 

Always Fun Challenge #210

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

Well I finally did it.. tried painting line-less.. or what ever it's called. I stamped this Pink Fresh Studio image that was given to me by a dear friend. I stamped with Ranger ink, a light color. I then used my Shin Han watercolors and colored her. I was happy with the way it came out.  I took some of the blue paint and painted a scrap of watercolor paper then stamped the sentiment and using Stampin up stitch die cut out and added to my card. I am happy with this type of painting. I think doing such a small image helped not get me lost or overwhelmed.

This is AKV trio baseball.. I colored the image with copics. I used Stampin Up die to cut the image out. I first added some stenciling using my dry wall mesh and Ranger ink. Then added the image and heat embossed the Judith sentiment on a piece of Quick Quote scrap.

I am using the image called Sweet pea tea tin.. I colored the image with copics. I fussy cut the image out. I heat embossed the Paper Trey Ink hello with white. I then took a piece of purple card stock and a Simon Says embossing folder and got this beautiful foliage background. I added a little white to the tin sides and finished with a twine bow.
