Hello 

Today we have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stampers watercolor

Our theme this month

Tropical

Oh how I wish is was on a tropical island. I love the water and heat.. 

Can't be there so I created it.. 

I stamped the My favorite thing hula girl and using my Mijello watercolors created the background.  I used Prima watercolors to paint her.

I am using the image couch potato. I colored it with copics. I created the background using designer papers. I stamped the club scrap sentiment and added twine to make it look like a wall hanging, I added the pot and leaves ..

I kinda got this idea from You tube - Ralph Tyndall. I created the background using Ranger inks. I then took the birch tree die from Taylored Expressions and added it over the background, I die cut the brown deer from Simon says and using Ranger ink to the sides. the other deer was an extra I got from a friend, I took the SS die wreath and added to the ground using scraps.

I got to pick the theme so it's

Anything goes / Watercolor background

I love creating watercolor backgrounds. I used Prima watercolors and created this, I added the black drops.. I didn't want to do too much to cover them up so thought I would use the Stampin up dies. I used the scalloped die from Spellbinder for the ground area.  I also heat embossed the sentiment, I like the way it came out.

I decided to create a winter Christmas scene.  I used Prima watercolors and created the background and Die cute the houses from Stampin up. I softly colored them and cut the ground slopes, I finished with bleed proof white snow and few blings.

Guess the book... come on I know you know it... Oh .. ok, it's The Wizard of OZ..

Look at these awesome papers.. I was over at a friends house and I said I need to make a card on a book.. she said ok  I have just the paper pack. She brought out a 12X12 of Oz.. OMG I was so excited. There were awesome papers.. I wish I could of made a 12X12 card.. lol.. but instead I chose smaller pieces and made this .. I love the ruby slippers for the background and the the 4 main people and Toto.. If course had to use the word piece.. I just added few ruby gems.. what more could you add and not take away for the main focus..

I kept my card kinda simple.. I stamped the Tech. Tues poppy and sentiment and colored with Copics. I cut the card down and using Spellbinder die cut the black decorative piece and added to the card base.

Time for a new challenge over at 

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #152

Our theme is

Build a snowman

So to start I had to think what was I going to do.. So started with watercolor paper and prima watercolor and just created a background.. I let it dry for a day then splattered bleed proof white all over it..  Now what am I going to do????? Build a snowman.. that's the theme. I cut a couple circles and using Ranger ink gave a little color to soften the white of the paper.. I found some branches and added them and some diamond drills from left over diamond paintings.. now the head, I cut another circle and it was too big so  using scissor I cut it a little smaller and laid it down. added more diamonds for the face, a copic nose.. I thought it needed a hat so I die cut Tim Holtz. I cut a small orange scrap and wrapped it around for hat band..  I cut the two deer out of scraps.. the background just needed something. Their saying.. what's that crazy lady doing?

Our theme this month is

Steampunk

I really don't do steampunk or have stamps that are that style.. But a friend had these balloons and sentiment and I thought perfect. So I found some scraps in my piles and thought they looked great. I love the look and these balloons look so cool. The sentiment Joy is thick and glossy and awesome..
