Hello again we have a new challenge over at

 Do-Al (l) Creative #33

Our challenge runs for a month..

 

The theme this month is SHAPED CARDS

 

 

Alex and Doris the blog owners are sponsoring this challenge.

 

I used Paper Trey die and used scraps from Quick Quote. I stamped the Newtons Nook camper and sentiment. The mosquito is from Tech. Tues. (camping or any outdoor activity there always seems to be mosquitos) The grass and flowers are My Favorite Things.

I colored everything with copics. I love the fun cute scene and loving the wood designer paper. I seldom do shape cards but I must say it was fun creating.

It's Friday so Bugaboo has a Free image for you..

this is the Free Image.. Relaxing guy.. I started by looking for some background paper. I remembered the Gelli plate papers I made years ago. So I chose this one. It's made with using letter stencils and spelling out "hope" and using different Ranger paints. I remember making this one and loving it. I never wanted to use it cause it looks so cool.. but I am using it. I then colored the free image with copics. I fussy cut him out and using foam dots added him to the card base. I dug through some Club Scrap sentiments I have.. I wanted something regarding relaxing. and found this fun sentiment. I added the stitched ribbon scrap and with foam dots added this to the card.

Hello.. I have a card to share for the new challenge going on over at Colour Crazy Challenge #34

I am using the image called Kawaii Valentine giraffe.. I thought this would make a great baby card so I colored the image with copics. I then used Stampin up ink and Simon says image and stamped the background. I used My favorite things stitch die and I mounted this on a piece of yellow Quick quote card stock and then mounted this on Sizzix designer paper. I added the twine and stamped the Concord and 9th and Sugar pea sentiment. I used Stampin up heart die and then added a bow. I know it's kinda dark but thought more boy vs. girl but also why I used bright green and yellows..

September - Bugaboo new release

Hello.. It's hard to believe we are on the last week of August.. Today Bugaboo Stamps has a new release.. It's the word September.. (I paired the word with an image from the store)

The September  is the New Release.. but I also thought it would be fun to have another image with it. So I added the image Book sitter...Beings kids are just getting back to school and they are in the book.. this would be a cute scene.  Both can be found in the Bugaboo store. I added some Cogic in gray and then took a stencil and using Ranger ink created the wall.  I used my cloud template and Ranger ink to create the sky. I colored the images with copics and then found this fun strip Quick Quote scrap and added this and the image to the card base. I added the September.

I have a fun card to share for the new challenge going on over at Always Fun Challenge #125

Our theme for this week is BACK TO SCHOOL

This is my card using a scrap of Quick Quote yellow designer paper. I used Pretty Pink Posh images and colored with copics and used my cloud template. I used Taylored Expressions polaroid die and added the fun images. I was kinda going on the first day of school photos that so many of us have taken. I added the Reverse Confetti sentiments. I added the books and apples and went over the apples with Nuvo glitter brush.  This reminds me and my kids first day of school..

I use this fun little guy from Sweet November. It's a red rubber stamp.. I had this piece of paper where I took a circle stencil and Ranger ink created a background piece and I was just waiting for a time when I could use it.. Well today is the day.. I took a little lighter Ranger green and just skimmed over it so it wasn't so white.  I then stamped the image on the piece. I fussy cut it out and then stamped the head and hand on a piece of white and using copics color it and then fussy cut them out and adhered to the larger piece.  Then I thought ok he's looking down.. So I thought why not put a dog down on the floor so went to my Gerda Steiner dogs (which I love) and chose this fun one so I used Zig markers and then die cut him out. I chose to use Stampin up designer paper and cut a strip for the ground and adhered the images. I chose a sentiment from the same stamp set and used Simon Says speech bubble die and adhered to the card. I added some sequins.

Hello.. Welcome back to my blog.. Thanks for stopping by.. Today it's Friday and so that means a Bugaboo Free Friday image for you over at Catch the bug..

This Free Friday is Party Pig Trio.. Love these party animals. I used Tim Coffey designer paper for the background.. so chose color from that for the pigs hats.. I used a Spellbinder die to cut the image out. I then used a My favorite things banner die and heat embossed the My favorite things sentiment on a piece of scrap cardstock and added this to the bottom of the image. I added twine which I colored with a copic pen. I added a little acrylic dot to the bow.

This is my card using the image called Cute bear cub.. I first used Taylored Expressions postage die and then using my cloud template and Ranger ink created the sky. I used copics to create the ground. I used Stampin up Silhouette foilage stamp set and brown ink. Once I was pleased I colored the image with copics. I went over the balloon with Nuvo glitter brush. I dug through my scraps and used Quick Quote designer paper and pieced the background. I added the image and stamped the My Favorite Things sentiment and heat embossed. I cut this into a banner and added this to the card. (it doesn't look like the t in thday is all there.. but it is. its just a really small horizontal line on the t)

This is my card using the image Baking Brian.. isn't he a joy.. I used some Basic Gray designer papers for the background and once that was done I went and colored the image with copics. I trimmed him out and added him to the card base. I stamped Art Impressions sentiment on Velum and added this to the card and stamped the Happy birthday by Paper Pretties and trimmed it out and went around the edges with Ranger ink. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the candles and brown icing.  This guy/card just makes me smile.

hello and it's time for another challenge at

 Always Fun Challenge #124

Our theme this week is MAKE A TAG

 

This is my tag.. I do like making them but I always seem to not know what to do while designing or what to do afterwards.. (although I have been making tags last few weeks..) I can only use so many in my bible journaling or planners but here's one more..

So for my tag.. I used a Tim Holtz tag and then dug through my scraps and found this grayish greenish paper. I stamped some various Club scrap stamps all over it and  Simon says sentiment. I then adhered it to the tag and cut the excess off. I went over different areas with stripe washi tape. I used Distress crayon and went around the edges. I added some Taylored Expressions butterflies and some acrylic dots. I added a brad to the top.

I thought I had added this card.. but I've been having so much internet problems it's probably out there in cyber space. If it shows up twice I'll delete one..

I have been taking some of these fun stamps and stamping them in my Canson water color tablet. I then take my paints (in this care it's Mission Gold water colors) and take them out on the deck and paint a bunch of images. Then it takes days to cut them out. I have a nice big bowl of stamped/ painted/ die cut images ready for cards when needed. This card I used stamps from Mama Elephant, My Favorite Things, and sentiment is Tech. Tuesday.. I used Ranger oxide ink to create the background then added to a base. I used foam dots to give the images depth. some are and some aren't. I also used a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush..

This image is called Heels big bow.. I found some scraps and tried to color the heels using the colors in the watercolor looking scrap..but the red just didn't want to come out right .. SO I went over it with some darker colors. I finally got what I liked. I wanted to add the Simon Says sentiment but not sure where so I added to the center and it was cut with Stampin up die. You can still see that they are heels. I used a Simon Says stamp and Ranger ink and stamped off and created the background. I used My favorite things stitch die. I then added it all to the card base. I went over the bows with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.

This image is called Winnie Sugar Sparkles - Sharing is caring... I first used Lil Inker die and cut the image out. I then used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink. Once I was happy with that I colored the image with Copics. I added this to a piece of SU gray card stock and using Twine added this along the left side. I added this to a piece of designer paper. I stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment and added it to the card. I went over the bow, apple, dress ruffle and shoe flowers with Nova glitter brush.

Oh this was so much fun to create.. Well most of my cards are .. but I love dogs and this little one is just too precious. I used Quick quote scraps for the card base, My favorite things circle die...  used Ranger ink to distress the edges... I stamped the Newton's Nook dog, flowers, heart on watercolor paper. I used Altenew paints to paint everything. I went over the flowers and heart with Nuvo glitter brush. I die cut them out and using foam dots added the images. I stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment with Stampin up ink. I finished with some cranberry gems.

This is my card using the SheepSki designs image Daisy panel..

I colored the image with copics. I used Simon says die to cut it out..  I then took a piece of Basic Gray designer paper and a wood grain embossing folder.  I added this to the card base.  I then adhered the image to a dark green scrap and added to the card. I heat embossed the Hero Arts sentiment and using Stampin up die cut it out and added to the card.
