time for another challenge over at

Alphabet challenge  I

I for INSECTS

So I made this card for another challenge and then decided I didn't want to use it.. So I waited till this challenge came up.. I am using the Bugaboo stamp Ladybug Floral Collage.. I used Marianne tag die and added a ribbon. I colored the image with copics and used Nuvo drops on the ladybug heads and little orange dots. I used an embossing folder for the piece on the right and brushed Quick Quote chalk ink over the top. I added this to two pieces of QQ scraps. I added the Reverse Confetti - I love you to the image line area.  I added sequins and dots of Nuvo drops.

I am using the image called Peonies.. I colored with copics. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I then used My favorite things die. I went around the edge with Ranger ink. I used my dry wall mesh as a stencil and Ranger ink to create some interest to the background. I then added the image. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and finished with some Stampin up jewels.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme is

DIES/PUNCHES

This is my card. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink and created the sky. I then took Kraft card stock and tore a rough edge and used Ranger ink to dust across the edges. I added to the card base. I then took My favorite things stamps and water colored with Mission paints. I added to the card. I added some Stampin up foliage and a MFT butterfly and bird.. The sentiment I added to the bottom.

I am using the image called Kawaii Valentine Giraffe.. I colored the image with copics. I used My Favorite Things stitch die and added to some DCWV designer paper. I tucked in some Epiphany crafts banners from a punch out of some scraps. I added some twine and the MFT sentiment cut with Tech. Tues. banner. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle to the hearts on the giraffe.

Hello

I had this card in mind so while it's was there I decided to make this card. It was so easy. I cut a circle out of some type paper and then using my cloud template and Ranger inks I created the clouds and water. I had this seagull already painted from a few summers ago from My favorite things and done with Mission Gold watercolors. So I added it to the card on foam dots and stamped the MFT sentiment with Quick Quote chalk ink.. I am loving how it came out.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #276

Our theme this challenge is

SHADES OF BLUE

So digging through my stamps I was trying to decide what to create. I saw this Simon Says background stamp and usually I paint inside so thought I would just use 3 shades of blue and ink it up. I stamped and I didn't really quite see the three shades ... but it was blue so stuck with it. I used scraps from Quick quote and My favorite things smile die and stacked three layers and added to the card along with heat embossed sentiment. I finished with some blue sequins and Nuvo drops in the center..

I am using the image called Faith Hi.. I can't find her in the store but sure if you're interested in her you can asked the store.  I colored the image with copics. I used Rubber Seed and Stampin up ink to create the grassy seaweed. I went over the mermaid tail with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some gems to her hair bubbles and Nuvo drops to the air bubbles. I added to a piece of blue card stock then to the flip flop dp from Memory box. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues.

Our theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

I have quite a few stencils and still struggle using them. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for this card. I decided to look for stamps first. Saw this one from Club Scrap that I haven't used for a long long time.. So I stamped it on some rust card stock. I used My favorite things stitch die. I then thought the next to figure out a color and stencil. So I know blue is the complement color to the rust color so I chose this Ranger ink. I found a nice Newton's nook stencil and created the background. I then found a sentiment that was a sticker..  I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the image in different areas.

I am using Gus fish whisper

the store has now closed. 

Gus is one of my favorites along with Stella at Bugaboo.. I chose to use this image, Gus the fish whisper. I colored him with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the water. I added to a piece of DCWV paper and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment on a piece of scrap and used a Spellbinder banner die. I added the bow of twine and added the My Favorite Things fish which I water colored with Mission gold paint.

I am using the image called Lotus in June. I colored the image with copics and used Spellbinder rectangle die. I added to a piece of DCWV dp. I added some Stampin up cording and stamped this Asian coin and colored with some Markers I used Simon Says circle die to cut out.. I stacked it three times to give some weight and sturdiness. I then stamped the Stampin up Love and using SU die cut this out and distressed the edge with Ranger ink. I added some more SU cording.  I went over different parts of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Our theme this week is

ANYTHING  BUT A CARD

So this is a mini album that is 4X6. The kit is called Sunshine and good vibes from Quick quote. All the papers and everything is in the kit but the chalk ink.. which you can find on their website store.  It's a great company and they are in quite a few craft stores.  They are in the county I live in and I do test kits for them before they go out into the public. This is one of the kits I worked on.  I used the chalk ink to distress the edges on most of the dies. The ribbon was in the kit.

It's Friday so it's Free Friday over at

This image is called Watermelon butterfly bear  I colored the image with Copics. I used My favorite things oval die and Spellbinder die. I added to some designer paper?? I added some twine and then took some leaves I used from a SB die and colored black and added to the twine as they look like seeds. I added Glossy accents to all of the seeds to give a glossy real look. I added some glitter to the bear. The sentiment is from Simon Says.

I was looking through some scraps and found this fun colorful DCWV paper so digging in more scraps I found this Stampin up paper and used Tech. Tues. dies die cut the house, happy, home. I layered the yellow behind the house so it showed sunny windows.. I layered 3 of the happy home. I stamped "the blessings of" and cut it out. I tied the twine around the card and tied the bow and added a SU punched heart. I went over the letters and heart with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.
