Oh my this is the last day of 2020.. I am not sorry to see you go 2020.. 

It's been one heck of a year hasn't it.. 

We have to have a healthier, happier kum ba ya 2021

We have a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Galz #137

I am the host for this challenge so I picked the theme to be 

MORE THAN ONE FOLD

So this is the fold I used.. (see the second photo) I think it's called a Z fold.. 

It's an easy card style to create so I am all in for that.. This card went together quick as I already had these My Favorite Things images painted (with Mission gold water colors) and it was just picking them out of my pile and stampin the sentiment. The little oval were a gift from someone and for some reason the paper I had with them is not around so I am sorry I can't give credit to them. I used the Spellbinder banner die. My card is done. easy peasy..

It's time for another challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Guyz #261

Our theme this time is 

BLACK AND SILVER

I dug out my DCWV paper as I remembered I had this Black and Silver card stock. I chose two I though would work. I wish you could see the the silver.. but believe it me it's there. I stamped the Paper Trey Ink sentiment and heat embossed on Stampin Up vellum. I added this to the card and tied a Stampin up silver cord and added an old silver button. I added a few black sequins and added Nuvo drops to the centers.

Today we have a new challenge over at

Our theme this week is NEW YEAR 2021

This is my card. I really don't send out new year cards so I made it a celebrate card and if I ever decide to send out a new year card I can write it on the inside.. OR make it an Anniversary / Birthday / Retirement.. you get the picture..  Anyhow for my card I had this awesome scrap paper from Quick Quotes. I stamped and heat embossed the Paper Trey Ink sentiments. I die cut the Reverse Confetti glasses in brown and then in white. i used a copic and wine or fruit juice.. I cut the stem off and adhered to the brown glass. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. The glasses are added with foam dots.

I waited till after Christmas to post these cards. I did some simple watercolor trees. I saw this on U-tube .. Ellen Crimi -Trent.  I love the different colors and I used gold paint to give some extra sparkle. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment.

Christmas card and Birthday card

This Christmas card is for my Daughter in law.. once removed but never from my heart.. and her husband. I hand painted this Christmas tree and since they live in Vegas I added some snow that I am sure they are missing.  I kept it quite simple. I didn't want to add ornaments but now that I look at it I could of added a bird or squirrel..  I used Mission gold and Gouache for the snow.

This card is for my grandson who turns 12 on Dec. 23rd. I watercolored the background and used Prima pan paints and Kuretaki gansai silver. I used My favorite things and Paper Trey ink dies. I think he'll like this.

Hello.. 

I am the host over at

  Make My Monday #138

which  means I got to chose the theme

CREATE A WATERCOLOR / SMOOSHING/ALCOHOL INK -BACKGROUND

I chose watercolor background. I used Mission Gold watercolors. I took some perfect pearls and did some splatters on it. I set it aside to dry for a couple days.  I then took some black card stock and Simon says die and cut it 3 times and layered the word to make it sturdier. I stamped the SS sentiment and heat embossed. I trimmed it out and made it into a banner. Once the background was nice an dry I added the sentiments and finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops in the center. I love the colors. This would be perfect for anyone and so quick and easy to make.

Our theme this week is CHRISTMAS

So in Oct. I won this awesome gnome by Jessica Lynn Originals (this is just one of the images in the set).. I played along in the Coffee loving Paper Craft  week hop on Facebook.  I started by stamping the gnome. Then used the presents from Simon Says stamp set. I colored them and fussy cut out. I then used my ground template and Ranger ink and created the hills. I stamped the SS trees and SS sentiments. I added foam dots to the gnome and most of the presents and added to the card front.

This is todays Free Friday image.. Reindeer Skate..  I colored the image with copics I went over the eyes with a black gel pen then added some white dots and highlight to the nose.  I added clouds with my template and Ranger ink. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the ice. I stamped and heat embossed the Sugar Pea Design sentiment.  I got all the required colors in using scraps of designer paper and copics.

Our letter for this challenge is S - create a  SNOW SCENE

I used Sugar Pea design images which I water colored with Prima watercolors. I used an embossing folder for the background cause it looks like snow. I used some shimmer white paper. I used Simon Says slope hills for the ground also using the shimmer paper. I added the images and the sentiment was stamped with Stampin up ink and clear embossing powder..

I am using the image girl puppy love.. I know as my husband pointed out says "man's best friend".. BUT I said it's a figure of speech..  Our dog's are both of our best friends..  Funny guy.. So the something new is she has a new dog.. I colored the image with copics. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template to create the sky. I dug through some scraps and pieced the background. I stamped the sentiment and went around the edge with Ranger ink.  I don't know who the sentiment is by.. sorry but it's a great one.

I am using the fun image called Feet up and a cuppa.. I'd rather have coffee vs. tea but this of course is just a cup.. so in truth there is coffee in there and with my creamer it's about right on color..

I stamped the "Nice Rack" from Sugar Pea Designs and the "Deck the halls" from Paper Trey Ink  I went over the ornaments with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush then dotted with clear Nuvo drops.  I added to a piece of DCWV designer paper.

This image is called Kidz reindeer..  I colored her with copics. I went around the edges with Ranger ink.  I used some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the lights. I added to a scrap of DCWV designer paper. I added a Stampin up ribbon and the sentiment is from Simon Says using SU ink.. I used the Ribbon / Bugaboo image / Sentiment row.

I have a card to share for the new challenge over at

Our theme this challenge is SNOWMEN

This is the image I used for the snowman.. It's an old The Cottage Stamper image. I colored with some copics. I used some white ink to dab on the snowman. I spritzed some glitter on it. some stuck and some didn't.. I then used my Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to add more sparkle to those area that didn't hold the glitter. I added to the cute mitten designer paper. I stamped the Paper pretties sentiments and went around the edges with Ranger ink.

I colored this cute image with copics. I went over the star and wings with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used Lil inker stitch die. I found this gold scrap so added this to the white card base and then added the image. I stamped the Sugar Pea designs sentiment and heat embossed. I used Tech. Tues. banner die. I finished with some snowflake sequins and dotted some gold Nuvo drops to the center of the snowflakes.

Anything But a Card

So I have this Card box I created using a Quick Quote kit. There are cards inside that were also included in the kit.. (see photo below) and so though this would be perfect as a gift to someone. I used the image called Reindeer duo.. I colored them with copics. I added to a piece of dark green card stock and added to the flap part of the box.  I stamped and heat embossed the Paper Trey Ink sentiment and cut it into a banner. I added this to the bottom part of the box. 

This is the inside of the box. There are quite a few cards in it. The ones in front are smaller than A2 and there are A2 size behind them.
