Hello.. 

YUP.. I joined another design team.. 

I joined Happy Little Stampers Watercolor challenge.

If you've been following me or see me on facebook.. I love to watercolor and do the Let's make art watercolor subscription box.. When ever I can watercolor a card (stamped images) I will most likely do it.  So this was perfect I can use my own images and watercolor.. woohoo. yeah me.. 

Since they are based in Australia and the time difference to the West Coast USA.. My post goes live a day before.. But Australian time it's 1st of the month  and runs for the full month and it's Anything goes.. so you have plenty of time to put some watercolors to your card and enter.. 

 Happy Little Stampers Watercolor challenge

This is a cute little image from CC Designs.. I stamped her on watercolor paper and then using my Mission Gold Watercolors I painted her, created the tree, sky and ground. I used a sponge to create the greenery on the tree. I stamped the My Favorite Things sentiment and heat embossed. I used Tech. Tues. banner die and added an epoxy heart.

Hello or should I say hi

Today we are starting a new challenge over at

Crafty Sentiments

Our theme is

ANYTHING GOES

This is my card using the image called Captain.. (I can't find it in the store.. sorry) I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink and added the Simon Says birds. I then used My favorite things circle die. I added to a piece of Stampin up card stock on foam dots. I die cut the MFT hi 3 times and then once out of the left over clouds from the background. I added it to the card and using Martha Stewart punch I punched the bird and went around the edge with some white ink to give it some depth.

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme this challenge is

FUN FOLDS

This is my card. I used an A2 blue base. Then using scraps I created this card. I used the strip paper and pulled colors from that. I used some Stampin up blue paper. The orange piece was a scrap and I used Simon Says leaves and dots and I used Stampin Up ink. The flower image is from Tech. Tues. I colored with copics. I  stamped the Paper Trey Ink sentiment and using Stampin Up punches I created the banner. In the photo the card is not completely closed, it's part ways open. I think this is a z fold card.

This is the side view of the card. you can write a 

sentiment in the inside or on the back of the card.

Hello

Welcome to our new challenge at 

Alphabet challenge the letter is K

I am the host for this challenge so I chose for 

K -KINDNESS  -

add the word Kindness to your card

For my card I used some watercolor paper and using Lets Make Art liquid paint and created the background. I did it on half a sheet of wc paper so so I have two of these. I also did some other colors on another two pieces so I have 4 more A2 size to create more cards.. I also used some Paul Ruben metallic water colors and drop the paint while the background paint was still wet which gave this blotch look. I added the die cut kindness from Honey Bee. I layered it 3 times then used a shimmer looking paper for the top. You really can't see it but in real life it's got a little sheen to it. I stamped with Purple Stazon ink the sentiment  on gold paper and cut them down. I added some sequins and Nuvo drops to the centers.

Our theme is the usual

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and I am using the image

Floral set 2   The store has close so winner will get an image used by the DT.. 

This digi comes in the rectangle and circle. I am using the rectangle.. I colored the whole image with copics. I used a Stampin up stencil and Ranger ink and created the yellow background. I spritzed with some water and then dried. I added the Simon Says sentiment which I heat embossed. There are some little black dots on the card and I covered them with white Nuvo drops. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the butterflies and inside the flowers.

I am using the image called Medical hero. There is a guy and gal and I chose to use the gal. I colored with copics and fussy cut her out. I used Cosmo Cricket designer papers and a scrap circle that I cut a section off for her to stand on. I added a strip of ribbon over the seam and added the girl with foam dots. I used Tech. Tues. banner die to cut the sentiment that came with the digi. I used a copic to give the sentiment strip color. I added a few Nuvo drops to the ribbon. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to her glasses and stethoscope.

Hello

I was looking through my old digi's and saw this one of Gus and I also remembered this fun snarky sentiment so created my card.

I am using the image called Gus fishing.  I colored the image with copics. I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the water. I added him to a piece of DCWV paper and added the Tim Holtz snarky sentiment. I know when I worked I thought this same sentiment.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Our theme this challenge is

THINGS WITH TAILS

This is an old red rubber stamp and I am not sure who it's by but I want to say it's Rubber baby buggy bumper.. I stamped the cool iguana on watercolor paper and using my Shin Han painted him. I did extend the rock he's on so it's not so narrow. I used for the wine some Paul Ruben metallic for the wine color kinda looks like sparkling champagne. I added him to a piece of Stampin up brown and then this marble looking designer paper?? I added the embossed sentiments, one from Reverse Confetti the other Simon Says. I used Spellbinder banner dies. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops.

I am using the image called Petal fairy.  I colored her with copics. I used some Nuvo drops on her skirt adding the dots. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink.  I went over the petals with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I cut the piece down and added to some Authentique designer paper. I stamped the My favorite things flower and colored with copics and cut it out. I also added some Spectrum Noir sparkle to this flower. I found some leaves so added them and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment.

Hello

I was looking through some stamps I have in a dresser drawer in the closet of my craft room and saw this large stamp. I used a large Stampin up stamp and using Simon Says inks I inked using three different colors. I added the paper on top and ran my hand over the paper. I had to do this 3 times till I remembered to cover all the image.. LOL.. I then took some Ranger in and distressed the blue with a darker blue ink and used My Favorite Things thanks die and layered it three times to give some heights.. I added the Simon Says sentiment and backed it with some of the blue and finished with some Jewels.

This is a fun floral image and was so much fun creating this card. 

I am using the image from the now closed bugaboo store. Floral Set 2. I colored the image with copics. I added some dots to the flower centers with a gold pen. I fussy cut the image.  I added a scrap piece behind the image and the banners are scraps using Tech. Tues. banner die. The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

Hello

I saw this design (using different images) a few months back and I wrote down the name of the person on a piece of paper.. Yup.. now that I am using this card design.. I can't find the name.. Sorry if that person visits my blog.. I loved the cute design and so that is what I used for this card. I didn't add a couple things she did so it's not exact..but it's darn close. I used some scraps. I used a Martha Stewart large circle template and My favorite things circle dies. I stamped the Pretty Pink Posh images and colored with copics. I stamped the PPP sentiment and heat embossed then used a Taylored Expressions die. The banner is a Spellbinder die. I added the images to the card and added some Glossy accents on the apples.  I love the way this came out and plan to used this card design again.

Our letter and theme is

J - JUST ONE WORD

I found this Quick Quote scrap and ran it through an embossing folder.. In real life you can see the awesome texture.. It's kinda hard to see the texture it gives.  I used some more QQ scraps and die cut the Honey Bee die. I used some Ranger ink on the yellow piece to give a little shading to the buzz. I stamped the Pretty Pink Posh bees and using Prima water colors. I finished with sequins and Nuvo drops.  This was fun for a one word card. (thank you friend for the awesome Buzz die- Hugs)

I am using the image called Leilani curly hair girl.. I colored her with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I dug through my scraps and found these three that I thought worked. I did orangish flowers along with blue ones in her hair so that's why I chose it. I added some bronze Nuvo drops to the blue flowers, pink Nuvo drops to the orange flowers and clear Nuvo drops to the heart on her dress and bow.  The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti and I used a Tech. Tues. banner die.
