Where did July go? I hate that time seems to fly by so fast.. It's been a great summer, hope you all are having fun and getting to enjoy some fun times.

Theme: Coloring - markers/copics/pencils/watercolor... use something or all 

I used the Simon says background stamp and used Ranger ink. I swished the ink across the stamp to give it a look more of water movement. I stamped the Stamp of America water lily and used Tombow pens and then huffed on it and stamped. My Tombows are quite dry but came out nicely. I used a My favorite thing oval die. I added the Pretty pink posh butterfly which I embossed and the Stampin up butterfly. I finished with some diamond drills.

Hello again.. Are you doing lot's of crafting fun this summer? or taking a break??

I'm trying to make some ahead so I can enjoy the summer fun times, weather, sight seeing.

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge 

Theme: I for inspirational board.. (see below)

I used mostly stampin up for this card. Card stock and stamp. I colored with copics and added the sentiment and hearts to the front along with some diamond drills for embellishment.  This card style I saw on Pinterest and Debbie ? I loved the look and so tried to do from the image I saw... Guess I should of watched the video. I could used any image on the inside but I liked the idea of the flowers and picking the color if the inspiration photo I used diamond drill to get the grayer color in there. Since the flower took up a lot of the inside I did add this to a white card base so the sentiment / greeting can go there vs. where the flower is.

Today we have a new challenge over at

Theme:  Hot colors

I used the image Queen Bee.. I colored her with copics. I used Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on her wings. I used My favorite things circle die. I found this designer paper and liked it had a few flowers in the corner so I went around the edge with some Ranger blue ink just to add more color and around the image circle. I finished with the Pretty Pink Posh sentiment and some diamond painting drills.

Hello. how is your day going? We are enjoying the weather and getting a little local travels in. Seeing people we don't get to see too often. So that's nice.

Theme: for a baby

For my card I made it a Z for style. Just to be different. I used papers from Stampin Up and sentiment. I l love this cute paper and thought perfect. I have a great sentiment inside.

Hello - It's been a busy month but enjoying it. I wish we traveled more vs. short trips but with the way the world is now it's probably best to stay for trips.

Theme: Metals - colors hardware, paper

This is another Pumpkin kit from Stampin up. The gray card base has gold foiling. The piece behind the butterfly and beyond edges of cream color card stock along with the gold lettering. Thought it worked great for the metal theme.

Theme: Lets celebrate

Again I am using stampin up products. I have so many of their products and my best friend sells it so always find something to support her business.. lol

I used a small stamp to go around the card base to give it interest. Then too various scraps and added them to another piece of card stock. I added the sentiment then added the stamped images.

Hello again.. It's time for a new challenge at

Alphabet Challenge 

Our Letter - H  for Holiday - Summer or Christmas in July

Since I don't make card's for summer holidays I went with Christmas.. I chose some Quick Quote scraps and few others laying around.. I stamped the Your next stamp Reindeer. I just added a hint of color to him I added some diamond drills to his collar.. I cute out with My favorite things dies. and added the Simon Says sentiment. He's so cute. look at that face. I added more diamond drills beside the sentiment.

I chose to use Flower puppies and I just kept the colors very light so they looked faded. I wasn't sure how to color it and printed it a couple of times so I could practice.. I like the first one and went with it. I found some soft colors for the background and the cute sentiment from Reverse Confetti. Again I added some left over diamond painting drills for interest.

Hello. Wow, a week since the 4th of July. Hope you in the USA had a nice safe time. We really don't do anything.. We live in the country and so many just do all sorts fireworks so we just sit out on the deck and watch what we can. We only have one fur baby left and she's pretty much deaf so she isn't really bothers by it.

So this is a Stampin Up set. I stamped the flowers and used the stencil to color it. I love the blues. I've used this stamp set a few times and change the flower colors. Love it. I added some diamond drills left over from my diamond painting projects..

Fred, She Said Digital Designs

I am using the Pine cone spray from Fred she said.. I colored with copics. and added the Hero Arts sentiment. I love the way this came out.. I wanted a little interest to the top and bottom so used Spellbinder die and cut two strips and used gold embossing ink to give it color I didn't emboss it. I added to a Quick quote scrap.. I added a few diamond painting drills that look like half pearls..

Hello

I am loving the summer time. I love the brightness of the day, the heat as long as it's in the 70's low 80's  I am fine. It energizes me.. winter drains me...

Theme: Animal Magic

What is animal magic??? I don't know so I chose an image that looked magical with the face on his body and just cuteness. This is an old wooden red rubber stamp by Paula Best.. I stamped it on a scrap of Quick Quote paper.. I looked for sentiments and chose this one my best friend had made up and won a contest for the best sentiment and they made it into a stamp and when she passed away at age 55 - 16 yrs ago I got it. She was a dear friend and we had so much in common. loved creating with her and her friendship. I miss her so much. I have so many wonderful memories over the years.

Theme: Bookmark or Hobby

I have hobbies - card making, diamond painting, watercoloring, quilting and so my card is home made, with diamonds left over from the canvas's I do and I love bird watching. We have some bird houses around the property and three hummingbird feeders on the porch.  

This card was make using scraps from Stampin up, Quick Quote and I just cut the shapes to kind a create a bird house. The bird is SU and ink for bird. I used diamonds for the flower center and the birds eye. I am pleased with the way it came out.

So..... I used the Stampin up punch AGAIN. I can't help it.. with so many pretty papers it's not hard to chose the punch again. I used DCWV papers and love the glitter and colors. I added to the background which I stamped Merry Christmas from Denami designs. I added twine and a few diamond painting drills to the top of the ornament.

Theme: Ice Cream or Cocktails

I made an ice cream card not to long ago and I made a drinking card .. but thought  I would make another beverage card. I used some scraps. I stamped the Stampin up beverage and sentiment with Altenew ink. I went over the beverage with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I die cut the orange paper with Spellbinder die and used white ink and the bubbles that was in the stamp set and just stamped a bunch to give it some more interest. I added the sentiment and some diamond painting drills that I had left over.

Theme: Dogs

I made another Z fold card. I really like the style and can use up papers. Papers are from Stampin Up. I stamped the Lawn Fawn dog and gave a little color.. I used My Favorite Things circle die and added him to a piece of Quick Quote double sided card stock. I added the Lawn Fawn sentiment and cute from Tech. Tues. die. I finished with some diamond painting drills.
